It wasn't that Tori missed, it was just that the Misty dodged the attack. Don't feel bad! Before was totes taking this seriously! He had promised her and he owed her as much, and when the newly promoted Intermediate Lifer exposed her back to him, Before took the opportunity and promptly slammed the broadside of his weapon right into Tori.

"C'mon, Sdory! You ad Aglin gan dodes do bedder!" he cheered, whether or not he was going to actually be able to encourage her was another matter.

That attack had connected it had taken the wind right out of her along with most of her shield she had left and oh she was done also going to be very sore for a while. "Aww that is nice of you Before, but I give you win," the Lifer said as she unsummoned Aklin as she didn't care win or lose she was still smiling that her best friend had given his all in the spar. It was a good spar too as she learned more about Before and Vanna that with the both of them they hit really hard. Tori also knew that she had to pick up her training more but books were so good and relaxing too.

"Come on, lets get your nose taken care of and I will get you something at the cafeteria too," Tori said smiling and just wanting to take care of her best friend since she hadn't ment to brake his nose.

Before ended up wiping his nose on his sleeve. He didn't mean to but he did anyway. And Vanna promptly went on a mental tirade over how disgusting and unbecoming such an act was, how he wasn't a little scareling who had no concept of manners and decorum. Before sorta just handwaved at her ranting as he dismissed her, walking up to the tall Lifer and linking arms with her. "Sounds good!" he beamed.
