Chiiko-Chan I really want Hawk's Lady by Colleen Shannon. I can't find it in any store! Have you tried getting it at your local library? They could request it for you from another establishment if they don't have it. I've read that book... 400 pages of sexual innuendos and then steamy sex itself! xd I liked the book, but I think she tries to pack too much action into the story.

Miyuki_Aiko Brilliance of the Moon by Lian Hearn, and The Lovely Bones. These two are in my "i really want these books" category. The Lovely Bones is an excellent read. Although it tends to seem a little weird on the surreal side. I also recommend that you read Sebold's memoir Lucky. It's the account of her rape in college and how it changed her life.

I'm looking for some really nice copies of The Complete Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm and The Complete Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Andersen. Also a lot of The Complete Stories and/or Poems of such and such.
I also really want a hardcover copy of The Last Unicorn, but those I've seen used are always really expensive. I imagine once the new movie is released they'll start publishing it in hardcover again though.
I've been contemplating getting all of the hardcovers of the British Harry Potter books. I really, really want them, I just don't want to go broke getting them. sweatdrop

Grim Tuesday by Garth Nix. I've read the first book, Mister Monday and I fell in love with the series (Keys to the Kingdom if I'm correct). Another book series I want to read is actually a comic book called Jojo's Bizzare Adventures.

Ah, I love Keys to the Kingdom.
I remember that after I read the second book in the Bartimaeus I really wanted the third one, but unfortunately it wasn't released in the United States at that time and my parents wouldn't buy it online for me. I also want to read the Spiderwick Chronicles, but my local library never has the second one in.

My problem isn't with finding the books, ((thanks God for Barnes and Noble)) but it is buying them...
I have a habit of writing all over my texts so I can't really borrow them from a library... grr
Right now my list is Madame Bouvary Lolita King Lear Julius Ceasar King Henry IV (( I believe... i want the one that has the quote "a kingdom for a horse)) and that's just about all I want to post. 3nodding

Kisaki Kissu King Henry IV (( I believe... i want the one that has the quote "a kingdom for a horse)) I just looked it up, and it's from Richard III. I've always loved that quote and quoting it replacing 'horse' with whatever I'm looking for or just random words. xD

Woah, woah. They are doing a remake of the Last Unicorn?! I know my post is a little late.. but what the hell? What is wrong, precisely, with the 1982 rendition? I'm outraged.
Er, and as for books I would love to get my hands on: More Neil Gaiman (Good Omens and Neverwhere were fantastic) Douglas Coupland and Kurt Vonnegut. I suppose those all count towards authors, but I have read one Vonnegut and Coupland and loved them both.
I'm also dieing to get my hands on Wicked, by Gregory MaGuire, but I refuse to pay full price and whenever I find a deal, I remember that I have at least ten books sitting in line to be read as it is. ;___; Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister wasn't as thrilling as I would have hoped, either, but Wicked is said to be far better.
