Now the pokemon were all behind her! Seru tugged on the reins to slow her steed as Sylvira barked from behind, trying to catch up, her call sounding almost teasing...

She was going to catch up, no matter how hard it was. Growing frustrated now, Katie let out a yell that might startle her rental into running even faster.

Lyle thought he hand the hang of this now. He pulled the reins just a little bit to guide the Ponyta towards the nearest pokemon. Now that he was on track, could he make it go faster? Would he be able to stay on if it did?

The yell did more than speed her pokémon up - she overtook the racing three and had to pull on the reins to try and drop back, nearly throwing herself off in the process. This was harder than it looked!

Stanley decided to stop the rental he was running besides, and took a breather. Maybe if he stood here they would come to him?

If she reached back, she could almost certainly touch a pokemon, Seru sensed, and reached back to try to do that, gripping her steed's sides with her knees tightly, hoping... praying...

Cara held on tight to the reigns. She didn't really have to guide Punkin anywhere, the Zebstrika knew exactly where to go, she knowingly followed the two pokemon Cara had told her she wished to catch.

The pokemon were gonna get away if Lyle didn't speed up. He kicked the Ponyta again, and had to clutch the reins again when it shot forward even faster.

Apparently, her mount chose then to speed up slightly, and Seru was almost jostled from her saddle, and let out a small yelp of surprise. Well... maybe she'd get closer to another?

Ah, he quickly saw that that wasn't working. All he was doing was being left behind. Not wanting to trail too far behind the others, Stanley started briskly walking towards the pokemon, the rental at his side keeping up pace. He could ride it, but really, what was the fun in that?

This was ridiculously hard! Everytime she thought she was close enough to catch one, they pulled that much further ahead. Was she doomed from the beginning? No, no, she wasn't going to give up, no matter what! She urged her mount on again.
