"So Excalibur is on our side, while Merlin is... You know, pissed off about what was done to him for revenge," She grinned, "Maybe they'll hold that lecture again sometime. Those weapons are pretty awesome."
"Brotherhood," She echoed, raising an eyebrow and poking him on his side, "An all-boys club?"

There was the whole revenge dealie again. Deryk had to wonder how many of the things done throughout this war were done for that. Probably more than anyone on either side could count. Unfortunately, it probably wasn't going to be stopping any time soon either.
"Eh? Oh. No. There's female assassins too. Despite. It being called a 'Brotherhood'." he said with a grin.
"All in all, the Assassin order is pretty cool."

"And this... Assassin order. They're the good guys?" She asked, raising an eyebrow; from the name, it sounded like they were the bad guys, "Well, from today onward, just see us as the Assassins, and them as the..." What did he called it, "-Ah, Templers? We did just help stop an apocalypse."
By bringing it to the Horsemen, but eh. They stopped it. It was either them or the human world... Like Clarice said, the phoenix was the better outcome... She just had to believe it.
"Anyway, where are you headed to?" She asked, "Maybe we really should talk about the details of next month's leave..." Ah burger. How she wished she could have a burger right now.

"As good as a band of murderers can get really. The Templars want to save humanity by basically controlling everyone and everything. The Assassin order is all about freedom. So.. the two sides clash a lot," Deryk explained.
It might help him to think of the Halloween guys as the Templars but.. that didn't entirely fit. Maybe the Horsemen in specific could be? But the whole race as a whole... not so much.
"Oh uh. Was gonna get some coffee. Feel like I could use some right now. And oh? You got plans?"

"Either way, people will die on the way," She replied before shrugging, "No plans at all, really. Coffee... Sounds terrible. I don't mind going to the cafeteria for a nice cup of tea though. I don't really have much planned for the day. It's quietened a bit since we cleared up all the places except for the dorms."
Oh, room to self. How she missed thee.

"Yeah no kidding. Hopefully that gets cleared up soon. Wouldn't mind sleeping in my own bed for once," Deryk sighed, thinking back to the times where he didn't have to share a room with just about everyone else.
"Coffee is not terrible. It's awesome. But you can have all the tea you want. More coffee for me. yes."

"Yeah..." She frowned, "Heard that there are more phoenixes around the dorms nowadays..." She recalled that time she ran into one when she was with Aleister... Then again, blonde army.
"You seem like you're constantly on caffeine anyway, even without coffee," She eyed him, looking suspicious, as he poked him on the arm several times, "Drinking coffee just makes you act and talk like a squirrel on red bull..."

"Still more? Man. That one gave us enough trouble already. Uuuugh," Deryk whined before heaving another sigh. It was probably going to be a little while longer before they can return to their rooms then. More barrack time.
"Hey! Does not. Besides. Get kinda cranky if I don't get my caffiene."
He might be a little addicted. Maybe.

"When you're ready again," She grinned, giving him a few hearty whacks on his back, "We should go fog creature hunting again. Gonna earn our keep. Gonna get our rooms back. I get this feeling that if we don't, the dorms will be gone forever, and we're stuck living with each other." She cringed at the thought.
"Hey! Does too!" She replied, imitating - or making making fun of - Deryk, "You're a spazzy squirrel."

"Might not be a bad ide-ow! Hey! I'm injured here!" he pouted. Granted, his injuries weren't at his back at all, but that was besides the point. Rubbing his back a bit, Deryk made a face back at Ariane.
"And am not a spazzy squirrel. Energetic? Maybe. But spazzy? NOooooo nononononono. Not me. Nope. Never. Nuh uh. Don't see me stuffing my cheeks with nuts do you? Hm? Didn't think so," he huffed while crossing his arms.

"You sound like you're all healed up to me, Mr Bond," She laughed, and gave him a few more back-whacks for the sake of it. She rolled her eyes, "Listen to yourself! You're a spazzy squirrel. You might not stuff your cheeks with nuts, but you sure stuff your mouth with coffee though."
Maybe it was time for an intervention.

"Oh, really now?" She took a big step forward, turning around so that she was standing right in front of him. One hand was sprawled out on his chest as she raised an eyebrow, "Prove it. Go a whole two days without any coffee, or caffeinated beverages, Mr Bond."

Deryk furrowed his brow at Ariane.
"Two days? Two days? Really?" he said, not really liking where this was going. Though, he should be fine without it.. .right?
"Ok. Fine. I'll do it."

Lowering her hand from his chest, she grinned, "Two days." With that, she continued down the hall, "In the meantime, can I interest you in some tea?" Since he can't drink coffee anymore.
