"..Derykion." Candace looked incredulous. And Atropos had mocked her for Cade. Man, they needed to give 'name your golem' lessons or something.
Derykion.
Well, at least she wouldn't forget it.
Well that was an interesting tidbit of information. She raised a brow, tilting her head to one side. "Really? Huh...wonder why. Derykion..maybe I can use that." A few ideas were already beginning to come to her. She smiled. "She seems like a nice girl. I'm sure she'd remember you after a bit of memory jogging. So, Mela the ascended ghost dog and Derykion..." Her smile grew into something almost devious, but mostly excited. "Yeah. I can work with that! I think I know what I can do, too. I'll have to ask someone about...hm..heh." She grinned now. "You've probably given me the most helpful information of anyone for this whole thing. Thank you, Deryk." She leaned over and put her head on his shoulder.
"I'll keep an eye out for that plague doctor of yours." Candace gently pat his good hand. "And if there's anything you need just let me know, 'kay? You've helped me twice now. I'll repay the favor somehow~."

Deryk gave a sheepish smile when he saw Candaces reaction to the name he gave, but relaxed once she spoke a little more. He might have flustered a bit when she put her head on his shoulder for a moment.
"Yeah no problem. Just.. uh. Try not to hurt her? Seems like a sweet girl. Seems like a nice girl. No need to jump straight to drastic measures," he said before nodding to her, "Thanks. Just uh. Be careful if you do run into it. Think that one might be a bit unstable. Not sure how many other Plague doctors are around but it wore red. Had metal wings. They're sharp too."

Candace chuckled, holding up her right hand similar to how one would do when swearing to an oath to be honest in court. "I have no intention of harming her. I simply want her here. After that," Candace waved her hand. "I'll see about having her weaponized." And if she couldn't be weaponized she was sure the doctor would love a pretty new specimen like the wolf girl for testing. She was certainly a lovely little thing.
"Metal wings, huh? Neat. Pff. Almost everything in that place is unstable." Then again humans weren't much better sometimes. Candace dropped her hand, drumming her fingers on the table. "Maybe next time you see him you can repay him for what he's done to you."

It was a good thing Candace didn't say the second part out loud. Deryk probably wouldn't be too comfortable with live experimentation. Minipets were already an iffy border on that. Sentient beings? That was definitely over a line he didn't want to deal with.
"Ehe.. right. But we'll see about that.."

"I think you can do it." Candace assured him, raising her arms above her head with her fingers linked together and stretching out her back with a soft sigh. "I'll leave you alone now." She said with a smile, dropping her arms and getting up off the bench. "Thanks for the help, Deryk. It means a lot to me. Get better soon, okay?"

"Sure thing Candace. And uh. Thanks too," Deryk said with a sheepish grin. The trainee looked back down at his hand, then went on to continue eating.
