"There is."It almost seemed like Shun was about to leave it at that, but after a moment's pause he elaborated a little more. "I could summon my daggers and sink one into your body, causing harm. However, I won't for I have no reason to do so," he said in a rather neutral tone. The answer she had given, to him, meant that she won't hurt others if she could help it. "You have the capacity to bring harm. It's a matter of honing it should you choose to," he added plainly. There was another pause as Amphi asked about how he felt regarding her questions. "There are certain topics I would rather not speak of. You're free to ask. I might just not answer," he said, not completely answering her.

"Um..." She laughed weakly at the Reaper, a little unnerved that he so easily talked about sinking his dagger into her....In that case, she would do nothing about it. It did make the mermaid shift away a little.
"Well....Yes but...Oh I see what you saying..." She frowned, if she chose to harm others. Choice was the big thing, she would never feel like she was forced to do something....Maybe...
"Okay." She smiled up at him, "Do you have a ghoulfriend Shun?"

Shun noticed her shifting away a bit, but he didn't say anything about it. In any case, it seemed that he had made his point regarding 'can' vs 'will'. The topic soon shifted as Amphi asked if he had a girlfriend. For a moment he raised an eyebrow, then nodded. "I do, yes," he replied. Telling other students who weren't enemies wasn't a huge deal. If they were in the presence of foes, however, he probably wouldn't have answered that question at all.

Amphi, whether known to Shun or not, Had made a safe arms length space in between them so that if he did decide suddenly that he wanted to pull out some sort of fancy dagger and stab her, that he might miss due to the nature of her height and the small distance between them. It was the little things in life like that.....
"Ah!" Amphi blushed and nodded, "It seems that a lot of my friends have significant others." She frowned, "Hel, And Lizzy...They both have boilfriends. Good guys."
"Are your feelings for your ghoulfriend different then you would think of Xiu? Or Lizzy?" Honest question. Amphi was still not sure how 'Boil/Ghoul' friends worked. To be honest, wasn't it the next level in friendship? Like...Best friends!?!? Just the opposite gender then yourself?

Shun said nothing on the comment of 'good guys'. Mac was not someone he saw eye to eye with. In fact their tolerance level of one another was not very high. Regarding the other question, he raised an eyebrow to the girl. "They are," he replied. He hoped she wouldn't ask him to describe it because quite frankly he didn't know how to do that. The topic of love was not something he was very good at. Basically, all he knew was that it was what he felt for Mitsu.

Amphi cocked her head and blinked.
"How so?"
She wanted to know more. Besides maybe asking a random stranger would help her shift through all HER feelings for people. She liked EVERYONE. But did she LOVE anyone?
She stared at Shun expectantly.... O A O.

Shun stopped and stared at Amphi. "That isn't really something I can explain. It's love though. If you feel that way for someone... you'll... eventually figure it out," he stated. It took him over a month to figure it out, but the emotionally dense reaper still managed to piece things together. If he could, anyone could. "If it helps, I desire to be with her. To be there for her. For as long as possible," he murmured. He felt weird saying this.

Amphi stopped when Shun did and stared back.

"How come its something that can't be explained? how do you know if your feeling it if it feels like everything feels like it?" She blinked.
Like a child asking their parents.
"Oh...But..." She looked down confused. Amphi wanted to be around Thana, and Lizzy and Xiu and False and Danny and Roch all the time. Did that mean she loved them?" Can you...'Love' more then one person?"

Oh Jack more questions were coming about something he barely knew about. Giving Amphi a rather flat stare, it took Shun a little while before he managed to say anything in response. "That is something you should ask Lizzy. She knows more about this than I do. All I know is that according to her, there are more than one types of 'love' or whatever."The Reaper shrugged then continued to walk. He supposed he kind of got that notion. He did care about Xiu and Lizzy for example, but it wasn't the same as how he felt for Mitsu. "A year ago I really didn't give a damn about anyone so I'm not the person to ask these things."

"Okay, More then one type of Love. Ask Lizzy. I will do." She clenched her fist with detrimenation and then looked back over at him....
She gasped.
"How come you didn't care about people Shun?"
Mind SHIFT. Back to Shun. She wanted to find out all the things about Shun now. *_*
"Were...WERE YOU TREATED BADLY!?!?" Anyone who treated anyone badly should be punished....But not by Amphi because she wouldn't harm someone. Except the hunters too, she had mixed feelings on hunters....

Shun had stopped to stare at Amphi again. What... what was that look she was giving him? The question had come a little out of the blue to him and her assumption threw him off for a bit there. In a sense, he supposed that he was treated poorly, but he didn't think that was the root of it. It certainly didn't make him care for the Family all too much but that didn't say a whole lot for those outside of that in the past.

Amphi's eye's widened more as she continued to stare at the reaper.
Then she leaned in and said.
"Friends are very important Shun." and then leaned back.

"But I am glad that you do not think that way now. If you don't mind....do you want to be friends?" She held her hand out to him, smiling, "If...If it's not a bother or anything to you..." Cue shy flush.

"..."Shun stared back. "I understand that now," he said before shaking his head. However, the reaper paused at her question, blinking a little in confusion. "Is that all it takes to consider one a friend? Even knowing what I do, I do not quite know where the boundaries between acquaintance and friend lie."Granted, there was Hel who called everyone and their mother, 'friend'. But Shun felt that was a little too loose.

"Well, Friends come with time. So I guess I am more saying, Would you like to get to know each other so we can be friends? I find that friends are important and good to have around..." She flushed, "as long as you don't....get the urge to stab me with your daggers....we should be alright yes?"

"I have no opposition in that case. Granted, asking is... a little odd," Shun said while still eyeing Amphi. "But yes, I would consider it a good start for me to not wish to stab you. Granted, should we ever be in a spar, do not take that as an offense," he stated before narrowing his eye for a moment, "I don't go easy on anyone."
