He shifted, sliding down to sit against the wall, "Uh.... um. Y-yeah. P-pretty much." He drew in a deep breath, "I'm s-sorry."

"Don't be." she offered as she flipped another switch, "If I didn't want it too I never would have kissed you back."
She glanced over her shoulder at him. Brows furrowed, "Let alone suggested more."
This one stayed on too and she flopped yet anoth-POP! Okay. Definitely not that that one. She flipped it off and tried to reset the main breaker again. Skipping it as she continued down the row a bit more quickly.

"Look," Jerry drew in a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts before speaking this time. "I... I feel very... very strongly about her, okay? Sasha, I mean. And being... being so helpless and... and wounded I was out of my mind with worry, okay?"

"Well, duh. We both were. Don't you get that?" she continued down the line until suddenly POP! Out again and she rinsed and repeated. Treating it the same as before.
"Look Jerry. You're an okay guy and all, but I have no romantic interest in you... in that way. I was in agony. You were in agony. Both of us emotionally and physically."
There was another pop and a pause as she attempted to sort it out and then be finished with that row, there were only a few switches left now and hopefully one of the remaining working switches controlled the lights in the immediate area.
"One of the few things that helps for pain just happens to be having an orgasm." she tapped the side of her head with a finger, "It releases little happy chemicals in your brain much like a drug." he likely could have lived his whole life without knowing that little factoid.
"Everything else was just... I'm fond of you as a friend you know." her expression softened a bit - she was being so stiff and rigid and... she felt almost like she was being cruel, "I appreciate you giving me your time and I just think... certain things about you are nice is all."

Jerry tried to digest this information, flinching as the lights flickered for a moment before dying. "Ah... th-thank you? I guess?"
He couldn't help but admit a part of him was a little disappointed.
All for the best, all for the best. He straightened his glasses, "I... I know Sasha is your friend and everything but... but I mean I c-care a lot about her. Er. A lot a lot. She's um... I..." His mouth felt dry.
Let's not think about Orgasms, thank you. Again, happy for once about the darkness.

"I like your shell." she offered quietly before suddenly with a flick of switch - success was met! There was light in the room, "Is this enough?..."
She glared at the circuit breaker, there were a few more switches to try and she was incredibly tempted to flip them anyway.
"I care a lot about her too Jerry. She's a smart and beautiful woman." there was a thoughtful pause.
"and she has this..." a soft affectionate humming noise broke up her statement, "...energy about her. I just want to carry her around forever so I can live off it."

Jerry flinched from the light, closing his eyes a moment before letting them readjust.
That was better. He still kept his back to the wall, but visibly relaxed a little. "Y-yeah... yeah," He sighed, "She's just... She carries that... that inner song, you know? Like just listening to her voice is like... soothing. I feel... okay around her." He shifted a little, "Sane. Like... like we could just pretend for a little bit. That we were normal. That... that I met her in a coffee shop and we talked about the music being played and... and made a date to see a recital and... I just..." He shook his head, "I don't think she'd ever intentionally hurt me." Which was rare, apparently.

"You say that as if I intended to hurt you." she flipped them anyway and one caused a final pop and a final readjustment, "s**t! Sorry. Just a sec... almost got it annnnd...."
The light was on again. Only failed switches left off now which put her mind at ease, "We'll get the rest of these figured out another day."
She moved over and flopped on the ground beside him.
"I have something to tell you that you can't really tell Sasha about either." she was giving him a strangely keen stare.

He glanced beside her warily, finally desummoning Roar now that his glow was no longer needed. They had been sitting there long enough, if the Shadow Man showed up now, it wouldn't really help. "Um... oh?"

She shot Jerry an unreadable look, "I'm bisexual. So. Uh. There's that."
She smiled, "But don't worry. I know she and you are like... closer and s**t. But. Uh. There's still feelings there that are driving me mental."
"It's also why I was so eager to jump you, even after knowing she was okay." her face seemed like she had frozen mid-cringe, "I just wanted to resolve certain... needs... so I wasn't creeping so hard at her - if she was alright."
