The thunder was getting louder and louder in my ears, but oddly, it was soothing, not terrifying. I could almost feel another heart, right beside my own, beating with the thunderclaps... no. Not thunder. Hoof beats. And then a beautiful, almost melodic cry that sounded from the group, and my heart tripped, but the one next to it caught me.
I could feel her- I knew it was a female long before I could see her, and I heard her speak my name, almost singing it out, "Yabriel, darling... you kept me waiting so long I feared you'd forgotten how to dream...
As the four neared, and I closed my eyes, waiting, one moved apart from the others, coming to me, and I felt a warm face, bony, but soft furred and broad, press against my own, and a warm breath on my chest, a song for me, and me alone in my head, making me soar with the lovely notes. We didn't speak further, just rested against one another, foreheads pressed together as I stroked her mane, fearing to wake up.
When I felt the dream world start to intersect with the waking, I almost cried like a child, kissing her on the forehead, feeling her warmth one more time before I was forced into consciousness. Her name slipped from my lips, a beautiful prayer, a simple melody, "Sylwanin...my song of the skies..." A single tear escapes my right eye, and I lift a hand to cover my eyes against the sun... And feel a warmth in my chest like in the dream, and move my arm, looking up into the eyes of the gorgeous mare, as she lies down beside me, arching her neck so she can press her head to my chest.
"I shall be with you always, Yabriel... until we can travel the skies together, with you on my back, singing to all the worlds... she whispers in my head, and I merely nod, too overwhelmed to speak.

She could feel every fiber of her being vibrate with the approaching sound. Something huge was about to happen and her life would be forever changed.
"Yes. Things will be wonderful for you. Never again will anyone tease you, my dear."
Her eyes went wide. "Who are you? Wait. Don't tell me. I want to see you first. Where are you?"
"I am here, dear one." The beautiful black mare, with bright blue whorls and sphere's on her hide approached. Hex had gone blind to the other's. Her whole being wrapped up in this beautiful creature that was her's. Forever and ever.
"Oooh. You are so beautiful." She put out a tentative hand to touch the mare, but her hand simply slipped through the visage.
"I am not really here, just as you are not really here. We can see each other and speak to each other, but that is all. I am still in the real world seeking you out. But now I know where you are. Wait for me. I shall be with you soon."
Slowly the image faded and she woke on the rocky ground again, tears in her eyes. She sat up and wiped them away. "My beautiful Luna," she breathed, "I'm here."
