Standing by, Shun watched the Valkyrie get down to business with the rolling. Quite frankly, he was surprised to see her get it down so quickly given her balancing issues. She must have been rather determined to get it right or something along those lines. By the end, she pretty much had it perfectly as well.
"Impressive. We can move on now," he said while moving to climb up the brick wall again.
"Once you're read, come up here. You'll need to be able to retain balance on small surfaces, especially when traveling upon them," he stated.

Shun said impressive and Hel felt her chest swell with pride. Shun didn’t toss that word around lightly, so it meant a lot. She grinned lightly and nodded her head.
“Ah…alright.” That same brick wall she fell off of earlier as well. Before coming up, Hel shook any stray leaves and pieces of grass off and then climbed the wall. Situating herself on top, Hel parted her feet to keep herself firm and standing. Yeah…just standing still wasn’t a probably…but jumping, running, and probably even walking along this was going to be. She looked to Shun and waited.

Standing up, Shun began to walk along the top of the wall casually.
"Start walking along. Slowly. Get a feel for your balance," he instructed. As tempting as it was to have her start running along the top, that probably wasn't a good idea right about now.
"Use your arms to counterbalance."

…Shun wasn’t using his arms to counterbalance…
Hel started to trail after the grim on top of the wall, holding out her arms a bit as she stared down at where she was placing her feet. Being too concentrated on her footing, the ghoul ended up wobbling quite a bit as she followed along after him, and her brows furrowed. “…Let me guess….sometime soon I should be able to do a dive roll on this too, huh?”

Shun continued to walk along the top. He wasn't moving fast enough to require his arms so his hands were in his pockets in the meantime. At Hel's inquiry, he nodded.
"Yes. Or at least have some sort of rolling landing. The roll is a fairly important thing. Should you fall, it distributes the force of the impact along your body rather than in one spot.
The reaper glanced over his shoulder.
"If you feel up to it. Try jumping in place while on the wall."

Yep, she had a feeling that was coming. That would be interesting to say the least on top of this…rather narrow ledge. Just think of how awesome she would once she could master this though…
“Jump in place, huh?” Hel echoed, staring down a bit dubiously before she did a bit of a hop. Okay…that was alright…she did another hop, swaying a bit as she brought her arms up and out to keep her balance. Thus started Hel hopping down along the wall as Shun casually strolled with his hands in his pockets. “…So.” Hel started, figuring she could start talking while practicing.
“What happened to waiting, hm?” Come on, Shun had to know this subject was coming.

Turning around, Shun watched as Hel went ahead to give a small hop. Though, at the question she tossed at him, he raised an eyebrow. Oh right. The Valkyrie was a wedding maniac.
"In a sense, I am still waiting. Not much has really changed if you think about it. I did have plans in the future. The engagement only solidified that I supposed, but the marriage won't be happening until after graduation." he said plainly.

Hel landed back on her feet of a bit more of a daring jump, swaying heavily again until she managed to right herself, and looked up at the reaper.
She let out an aggravated sigh, and her shoulders slumped when he announced that the ceremony wouldn’t be happening under after graduation. What was with everyone and waiting? That horrid conversation about marriage she had with Mac came to her mind as well…and it would be surprising to see that the valkyrie wasn’t as…gung-ho about the subject as she usually was. “If we even make it to graduation.” Was all she offered up lamely. Really. With all these field trips, the time at the Haunted House, the Horsemen Isles…Hel wasn’t really banking on a long future right now.
Her lips twisted and she seemed in thought. Though Mac really had dragged the marriage topic through the mud for her…Shun and Mitsu were different. Maybe she…maybe she could still get a bit excited about their marriage. “…So…does this make her your fiancé now?”

"We will," Shun said, somewhat sharply before darkly adding, "I have no plans on ceasing to exist or dying anytime soon. Anyone that tries to change this will soon get to know my blades rather well."
Would it mean much? It was hard to say, but he was going to give someone as much hell as possible if they tried to kill him. While he didn't know what the future will hold exactly, he was determined to live long enough to see what came of it.
"Yes. That would be the term for us now," he nodded before slowly beginning to walk backwards on the wall. It was a straight wall, so he didn't have to worry too much about sudden curves. Even so, his steps were a bit more cautious than when he was walking forward.

The ghoul looked up at Shun at his rather adamant statement. She stared at him for a long moment before her lips pulled up in a bit of a smirk before it fell. It was a good statement. She liked it, and she felt the same way of course about others meeting the end of her weapon…but still, at this point in time she was not going to plan to far into the future.
Hence why a lot of things she just wanted to have happen now.
Her lips pulled back into a smile of sorts as Shun confirmed that Mitsu and himself were indeed, fiancés. The ghoul almost ran into him though as he started to walk backwards, and Hel immediately backpedaled, her arms flailing wildly to keep herself upright as she stumbled back some steps. “Oi! I still get to be the best man at the ceremony, ya?”

"I don't see why that would change," Shun replied before glancing back to Hel.
"Unless you would rather not be, which would be fine," he shrugged. He then gestured to the length of the wall they had traveled.
"Go ahead and try moving across the wall quickly. Lower your body if you need to."

“Oh, Jack yeah, I want to be!” Hel assured, grinning a bit. Her grin fell though, as Shun suggest moving along the wall faster now. Oh great.
The valkyrie turned around so that a long stretch was before her and took a deep breath before she started to move along the wall quickly. Not even a few steps into it she began to wobble, so taking Shun’s advice, she crouched a bit while she moved. It helped her keep steady immensely, and before long, she was up against the wall to the reaper dorms. Huh…not bad! She looked back at Shun.
“Now what?”

Shun watched as she moved along the wall, noticing her wobble a bit at the beginning. Over all, she didn't do too bad though. It was time to push her a little more even. He made his way back over towards her and then finally took his hands out of his pockets.
"Good. Now run back," he instructed before turning around and crouching and using his arms to help keep his balance. He then swiftly made his way to the end of the line, where he then leaped over the gap to the next stretch of wall. His footing slipped a bit, as he didn't completely judge the distance correctly, but he soon righted himself. Moving a little further back, he turned back towards the Valkyrie.
"Oh. And make the jump too."

Hel shouldn’t even have bothered…but it was Hel, and she never backed down from a challenge. She first watched Shun, and even though he stumbled a bit, it didn’t seem that bad! Hel’s brows furrowed and the ghoul crouched a bit, moving along the wall quicker than she had been previously, and the gap was coming up fast. The ghoul took the leap, and as soon as she landed on the other wall, her foot slid out from underneath her. Cue the rapid wind mill arms and a series of short, somewhat frantic, fragments of what sounded like Nordic cursing. Hel swayed heavily back and forth, but in the end, she was not going to win this round. The ghoul’s legs slid out from underneath her and she came down hard, straddling the brick wall. Hel in took a sharp, pained breath as that uncomfortable pain shot through every nerve to her fingers and her toes, and after a moment to fell silent…and then slid off one side and right into another dead bush.

Shun waited to see what Hel would do. He wasn't too surprised that she took the jump, however...
His eye twitched as a sort of cringe as he saw her racking herself onto the wall. She might not have been a man, but it still caused some phantom pains for himself. Ugh. That did not look pleasant in the very least. And it seemed that the Valkyrie agreed as she just sort of slipped off of the wall and into a bush.
Crouching down from the top of the wall, he peered into the push.
"Perhaps that is enough for one day."
