I see where you're coming from, I'm part Asian and I was raise by Vietnamese babysitters when I was young (It's funnier than it sounds). I know Vietnamese back then but my English was terrible. It was kinda funny for someone who's mostly American to have such trouble speaking properly.
Lol I know right? I met tons and tons of kids in my old school, and none of them could spell properly. One student couldn't even spell the word "bed", and the students there were all American. I'm actually half Indian, half Guyanese, and half American. Although I find it funny, most people assume that I'm Indian because I have tan skin in Real Life, but I totally own their butts with my scientific mind and spelling.
They couldn't even spell "gray". I found it sad but hilarious, knowing that the kids who tried to beat me were American, but lost. I even beat a few kids at dodge ball....LOL Fail. These American kids I met at school used the same tactics to beat me, but lost. XD
