((I assure you, if they seemed similar, I swear it was unintentional. >.< I'd been bouncing the idea around for a few days debating on whether or not to post it (my previous attempts at writing rps have been less than stellar) and you just happened to post yours up before I did. So don't feel like you need to take yours down because of me!))
"Oh stop it, you're flattering me!" Jessie said, pausing her work to put a hand to her cheek with a sheepish smile. She only returned to work for a short time longer before she slowed down and started to pant and groan. Letting her pickaxe drop to the ground, she walked over to a nearby cart to sit down for a while. "Alright, so maybe your suspicious space rock theory isn't too far off...My stomach feels like it's doing back flips and my sides are killing me..." she said rubbing her side just below her arm.

Mary looked over to Jessie and rushed to the cart when she saw she was panting. She heard her say that her stomach was doing flips and said, "I don't know what the space rock did to you, but maybe you're right and it's not really all that threatening. Perhaps you're just sick today?" She said with slight concern in her voice.
"If what I said is right though, well, I'd rather it not be now." Mary raised her arms to let Jessie lean on them for support but then muttered, "Have my arms gotten bigger to you?"
(I'll completely redo what I have so it doesn't seem like this one. I'd rather not have the same thing is all for a role play because then other people will get confused or wonder why they're the same or close to the same.)

((I dunno, I didn't think they were that similar (no aliens here), but that's just me. *shrug* It's all up to you.))
Jessie just raised a rather pained eyebrow at Mary. "You'll have to forgive me if I haven't paid enough attention to you or arms previously to be able to tell the difference. Who knows, maybe you're just starting to build some muscle is all." she said as she leaned her head back and stretched a bit.

"Why don't we get back to moving the rock out of here and go out for a party or something. I don't know about you, but I think I want to put all these stupid rocks behind me." Mary said as she watched Jessie lean her head back and stretch. Mary lowered her arms and thought, "I bet I am stronger." Before giving Jessie a nod.

"Ha! I don't think the rock's going anywhere for a while!" Jessie said with a laugh. "Worst case scenario we finish carting it away tomorrow, and even then I haven't a clue what we're going to do with it all. "What say we skip straight to the party? With the crowd already going at it, I doubt they'll miss two pairs of hands."

Mary grinned at Jessie and said, "Okay, then we should leave now." She then stepped towards Jessie and wrapped an arm around her shoulder before feeling butterflies move in her stomach. She whispered to Jessie, "Jessie, we might actually want to leave now. I just felt what you said you did now. Something's up with the rock probably."

Jessie's face fell to one of slight terror. "Okay, but what do we do? We don't even know what this thing's done to us, if anything." she whispered back as she wrapped her arms around her stomach.

"Well, we could always find an expert. Some kind of star watcher and ask them." Mary suggested, "Though where we'd find one in a village like this is what's the problem with that plan. However, we shouldn't start panicking yet."

"I suppose some scholarly star watcher would be the best bet when it comes to things from space...." Jessie said with a slight sigh as they continued to walk away from the crowd so they could talk a little more privately without alerting everyone else into a panic that could be unnecessary. It was then that she felt an odd pressure in her stomach and against her arms that she still kept wrapped around herself. "Hey..." she said stopping as she ran a hand along her stomach, feeling a small bump that she was fairly certain wasn't there before. "...do I look a little...less flat to you?" she said turning to the side to let Mary see.

Mary let go of her friend and stared at her stomach saying, "Jessie, I hate to say this to you, but I'm not sure. Well..." She didn't want to hurt Jessie's feelings, but she did indeed look a little bigger around the front. "Oh, I'll just come out and say it." Mary muttered as she wrong her fists and stomped her foot on the ground ground, "You look a little chubbier Jessie, especially around your stomach. Anything wrong with me though?"
Mary spun around quickly and said, "Do I look chubbier I felt the same thing you did earlier I'm sure of it."

"No offense, but....yeah. You kinda do." Jessie said, far more blunt with her words than Mary was. "Not as bad as me though." she said looking down at her stomach, giving it a few light pokes here and there. "But this....this is not flab. There's just no way. I've been eating the same things I always have and I've been sticking to the same workout schedule, though my job keeps me in shape too...There's just no way this is belly fat."

Mary pinched her stomach and said, "Maybe we're just bloated from overeating. I know this isn't naturally how I'm supposed to look either."

Jessie was skeptical. "That depends, have you been overeating lately?" she asked. "Even if that were true, I could swear I didn't wake up this morning looking like this." The pain she'd previously been ignoring in her sides had suddenly gotten worse. "Ugh, I really hope this is just a dream..." she groaned, rubbing her sides again to feel a bump starting to form under each arm as well, though she opted not to mention them. At the rate they were going, they were going to work each other into a panic attack within the hour. "What is happening to me...?" she murmured nervously.

Mary didn't know she felt her arms tighten as she heard Jessie murmur and begin to bulge. Her stomach also started to expand and look more like Jessie's as the time slowly passed. "We wouldn't happen to be... Pregnant... Would we? I know I've not overeaten recently." she whispered when her belly stopped growing for a moment.

"What?! No way! I don't even have a guy in my life!" Jessie said, looking far more panicked now that the prospect of having kids had been brought up. She then gave a little gasp when she actually saw and felt her stomach expand a little. "There's...just no way..." She sank to her knees in denial, wrapping her arms around her midsection, feeling the now obvious proof that she was in fact growing.
