It took exactly four minutes.

One minute to get dressed, the majority of that time spent tugging on his boots and wiggling unattractively into his belt. The other three were the minutes it took for Rikki to practically tumble down the stairs and sprint across the campus. He wasn't even sure where they were but he'd decided demon dorms were probably where they'd left from so he'd go that way.

He needed to start running every day again.

When he reached them, he walked right past Danny and went to hold Roch around the waist. "I heard you were cheating on me with pizza."

Roch stared at him for a second, then dropped his hand on Rikki's back, sliding it downwards--only to grab the waistband of the other boil's underwear and haul it up ruthlessly. "Hell no would I cheat on pizza with you, man, me and pizza, we are like thisss," he said, crossing his fingers and showing it to the other boil.

Most loving ghoulfriends would kneel over and help their boilfriends up, and somehow chastise Roch for a real dickbag move.

Not Danny.

She laughed directly in his face, even letting out a snort or two because that was jacking hilarious. "Oh my Jack you look like a loser," she got out in between giggles and snorts. Seriously what a jacking dork. He just got wedgied in front of the demon dorms- no in front of everyone.

"Get up already or we'll never make it to spookies," Danny snickered.

Best ghoulfriend. Really.

He had the best friends. Really. They were so kind and caring. Really just a very thoughtful duo.

He managed to peel himself from the asphalt and drag himself to his feet. He might have sulked just a little more, but pizza was on the line and that meant he could only fool around so much! And Roch was right. A wedgie was still better than frisky starfish. He'd just have to devise a plan to get them back one day when he was feeling less lazy.

Ha.

"Can we get extra cheese and eyeballs on one of the pizzas?"

"Course you're payin," Roch said. "You're the one that started it! Besides, I ain't had any time to make some seeds lately, I'm broke off my a**." He kept walking, letting the poor, wedgied Rikki catch up on his own. "Maybe when we're on the road I'll be able to pick up some cash. Shame we can't drag Sammy along with us, we could turn it into a tour," he said. "Course I haven't asked Nahm, either... eh, oh well."

He wasn't sure how Sammy would react to him now, not after what he'd done to Riley.

Danny smiled and gave Roch a thumbs up at getting to pay for them. She had her skull purse with her, and it always had a steady supply of seeds thanks to her deadie. The comment about Rikki needing seeds got lost in Danny attempting to ruffle Roch's hair, and utterly failing.

Once they actually got to Spookies, Danny sprinted to the booth and slid into the right side of the booth, making sure she got there first. "I win I win I win," she chanted, sticking out her tongue.

If they were racing at all was another matter entirely.

Rikki actually was a little skittish about sitting next to either of them. As far as he was concerned, being anywhere near them was a danger zone for his boxers and his dignity. But Roch had said something that latched on to Rikki's interest.

He slid in close to Roch and leaned on his elbows on the table. "Wait, what about becoming a hob first?" Had he missed something in his pizza-craving daze? Probably.
