Rin leaned in ever closer, this time trying to hug him, "I... I loved her too J-Jerry."
The hug however was more for her than him. She was desperate at this point. She just ******** wanted Sasha back. She wanted her back so much. All she could do was cry though.

"Sh-shouldn't... shouldn't love anyone, not in our line of work," He mumbled softly, leaning into the hug as he narrowed his eyes on the guitar sitting off to the side. "S'how I got these," He tapped his scar-marred cheek. "It j-just... gets you k-killed. Or... or d-distracted from the job," He finished stiffly.

"Wh-whats the point in living then?" Rin's frown deepened drastically as she leaned heavily against him into the hug.

He inhaled deeply, sniffing once more as he turned to blink at her, "Are... are you alright? You didn't get.... hurt too b-badly? You were p-passed out when I found you."

He wheezed, struggling to free an arm to gingerly pat her back, "Y-yeah I've... I'm not f-feeling so hot either. M-my leg's been... been killing me. I think... I th-think it's the Fear... ah.. you're sort of c-crushing.. crushing me... can't.. breath..."

Rin let up a little as she glanced over her shoulder at Jerry's leg. Fine hairs bristling up and down her back in pain but still, distraction!
"Your... l-leg... that was m-my fault too." she was incredibly angry at herself again.

He caught his breath, smiling in the most depressed way possible, "I... b-blame that one on Rep, honestly. It w-was healing, I thought... but. Who the heck knows when Magic is involved, right?" He shook his head, rubbing his eyes again, "I just... I'm tired. I almost... passed out in the shower before."

Rin forced the pain back again, enough she could at least function as she curiously reached out. Pausing, "I-is it okay if I look at it?"

"Not m-much to look at. It's l-like it shattered but... I don't know. Held together with Fear I guess. Would have been a lot worse if I was a normal guy." He counted what few blessings he had. At least he wasn't wheelchair bound like that Mist fellow.

Rin slipped from the hug reluctantly before fiddling with Jerry's leg brace. She attempted to very carefully make sure it wasn't in need of repairs or adjustments. Both of which might possibly be a good idea she soon realized.
"Does it hurt when I d-do this?" She applied pressure about midway out of curiosity, eyes up and on him for his reaction.

He flinched and hissed, "It d-didn't yesterday... today... today, everything hurts, though," He smiled a weak, watery smile, his face having gone red.
