Don't give the contact information to Soren? If he needed to find her he could just walk to the school, not that he'd really seek out a specific student. But all these niceties to the students really were quite pointless. The students had served their purpose, and now he merely wanted to capture the creature and take it back. There was nothing else to really concern himself with, the other horseman could be diplomatic if he wished, but what did it really matter?
Of course, the alpaca did not seem to want to go along with his mission, or perhaps it appreciated the someone with more diplomacy than Soren. Either way it got out of the way, and Soren once again found himself without a captured alpaca.

Don't be ashamed Alex, Sal did have fabulous hair.
Ah, so that was his name. Soren. Hm. Well, that was good to know, and he stored the information away for later. "Of course, little filly." Sal said sweetly enough, adding her information to his own little booklet before passing it off to the one apparently named Alex. The mild banter over the blood on the clothing made him chuckle; his scarf was covered in it, as were his hands. "Ah, young love." He chuckled to himself in amusement. "Colt, before you go and buy this lovely filly a new one, perhaps visit me once I am settled. I used to have this magnificent potion to get blood out of clothing." There was a certain sadness to his voice, one he was trying very hard to mask behind a fox-eyed smile. He had lost his home and most of those he knew and loved, after all. Including his workspace and research.
"Thank you, ah, Alex." He repeated the name, his red eyes peering through long white lashes to see the scrawl on his note pad. "By the by, my name is Salbei, most just call me Sal." Tsk tsk, forgetting his own manners how terrible. "I don't have a permanent address at the moment, but as we are scarce it should not be too terribly difficult to find me when the time comes." Again that hint of sadness, masked by a pleasant smile. Anything he could do to get over it, anyway.
"It seems we are having some trouble..." And be we he meant Soren, because Sal had yet to do more than lazily swing his bolas. "Would you two charming scarelings mind helping capture it?" It was severely wounded, there was no reason it should still be this hard to catch!

Filly? Hah, was that what they called their scarelings? How odd. Kind of charming, though, coming from the mouth of this kinder, gentler man. She smiled and nodded, accepting his offer for a blood-dissolving potion with a quiet "Thank you." Did she actually expect anything to come of it? No. Horsemen were probably hard-pressed for food, let alone alchemical ingredients. Ah, alchemy, what a nice class it had been...
Her gaze turned then toward the alpaca that Soren seemed to be trying to tame. Right... help catch it? Well. She cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted a goaty bray at it. Maybe it would listen to the sounds of its people?

Filly? Colt? Young love? Alex shifted around a little uncomfortably, frowning slightly, his hands tucking into his pockets once he was finished penning out his information for the horseman who had asked for it. Since Taryn wasn't reacting to the horseman's assumptions, Alexander felt it might be best to just ignore them as well. There was really no need to explain that his relationship with Taryn was strictly as friends, was there? Especially not to a horseman that, even after his reassurances that he would be contacting them later, they would likely never see again.
"Uh ya, that sounds good." The zomboil shrugged, though he didn't really give the offer much thought. His gaze was wandering over towards the Alpaca once more, and he may have unconsciously licked his lips as he stared at it.
The creature, while weakened, was still darting around, refusing to be captured. "Sure, I mean, I can try but..I'm not really all that fast." Alex admitted as he pulled his hands out of his pockets and waited for the Alpaca to go traipsing past him before attempting to grab a hold of it.
As he expected, he failed miserably, and only managed to have the tips of his fingers graze over it's fluffy neck before it veered away from him. It was probably for the best, really. If Alex got a hold of that Alpaca again, it might have been a little bit difficult for the others to make him let go.

Oop! It looked like bodily harm is all that would get the alpaca to stop... or maybe it was the bodily harm that had it running away in the first place? Taryn dove for the beast and caught a mouthful of fluff. Aghk!
Well, might as well help.

((I'm just going to get some sort of post in to keep this moving, sorry in advance for the suckage? :'D))
Like the others Soren went for the alpaca. He was close, but no sugar cube. The alpaca sidled out of reach and that was that, though he was starting to look slightly annoyed.

"Nonsense, I have known many admirable Undeads in my life, in fact your kind are very close to mine." Famine; full of emaciation, hardship and those that appeared near-dad. "You are a tenacious bunch, if memory serves. Don't sell yourself short merely because of speed." A thin, bloody hand waved in the air dismissively.
"So tell me, young ones; what do you think of our being here?" Salbei was curious; on the whole the youth of Halloween had been fairly accomodating to the Horseman's reserve on their hand, but some of the older ones were grudging at best. It was always nice to know where he stood, and what he had to do to potentially change an opinion.
"Very close." He grinned to Soren, now seemingly unable to put off being helpful for much longer. The Sage's bolas shot out but the beast easily dodged, spitting in his direction before returning to limping around.
"This creature is pretty damn evasive, isn't it?" Even the calm, smooth Salbei was starting to get annoyed; there was something in the way his ever-present smile faltered that gave him away. "Is there somewhere we can herd and corner it?" Red eyes drifted towards the two students, staring at them for their knowledge of the land.
OH MY GOD THIS THING DOESN'T WANT TO BE CAUGHT AKFJGHAKH

Knowledge of the land would actually mean that Alexander got out and about and paid attention to his surroundings better, rather then spending most of his time slouched over looking at the ground or with his nose buried in a book. No, he really had no idea where they might be able to 'herd' the creature in order to capture it.
"Uh...maybe if we all just stand in a circle around it and slowly close in. Whatever direction it darts then at least there will be somebody, or even two people, able to try and grab it, and it might not just escape all together." Not that it even looked like it was going to escape, at the moment. It really looked more like it was going to fall over, so it was a little offputting when it always seemed to find a burst of energy any time Alex tried to reach out and grab it, as he tried again now when it came too close.
Swing and a miss. Still, he followed his own advice and wandered a little ways away from Taryn and the famine horseman and situated himself so that most of their angles would be covered.

Alright, that sounded like a pretty decent idea...
Would Soren go for it? Would he restate it and act like it was his own? Taryn reached out at the alpaca and it sneaked by again. Well, cornering it was the best idea so far.
"I say we try it. What could we lose?"

Obviously it was Soren's idea. The cornering idea seemed to have worked, finally. With them spread out the alpaca apparently decided that the safest way out was past the one who had at least somewhat protected it. As it tried to run past Soren he turned and leaped, a rather lithe move for someone that looked so cumbersome. He managed to get a good arm locked around the creatures neck, and the rest of it was just pitting his strength against that of the weakened alpaca. "Good work, herd," he told them, already beginning to move the alpaca back toward horsemen territory. High praise indeed coming from the guardian. Enoh Love Quoted since I don't have your aim~

Soren took the catch and began to walk away, but Salbei wasn't quite done here yet. The Death clansmen could be as blunt and rough as he wanted, but he had failed just as much as they all did; they all tried. The sage merely shook his head, turning back to the young pair that had assisted them.
"Yes, fantastic job. Thank you for your help, children." He made a move towards each of them, the tall horseman leaning down to shake each of their hands should they let them, though both of his clasp one of theirs in turn. His hands were dry and thin, rough with use and yes despite all that they were strong, his shake firm.
"Alex, I will contact you as soon as I am able." He said as he shook the Zombie's hand - or at least tried to - before moving towards the ghoul. "And you, sweet child, do let me know if there is anything I can do for you, should the blood removing potion fail." It was very important for him to pay his dues, and he would make sure he paid them both back for their help.
Once he had said his goodbyes, and once there was no further questions or answers needed of him, the Sage took his leave.ramenli It's sanguincarn, if you want it C: Any of you are free to take it!

Apparently Alex's idea had worked just fine, though he had done very little himself in actually capturing it. "Uh..thanks..." He said, slightly puzzled at the odd praise coming from Soren as he wrangled the alpaca away. Part of Alex was sorry to see his meal leave, though the other part of him, the part that was still a little annoyed with the slimy green spit coating his shirt, was somewhat glad.
He then turned his attention back to the much more personable horseman. The word 'children' set his teeth on edge just a little. He was nearly an adult, thank you very much! But he still reached out to shake the offered hand, his own grip quite firm as well.
"I'd appreciate it." He nodded, though again, he had to wonder if he would ever actually hear from this particular horseman ever again.
With both horsemen gone, Alex looked over towards Taryn, offering her a large smile. "Well, that was certainly...interesting! I don't know if I ever thanked you for coming along and trying to help me so..thanks!" He shoved his hands into his pockets rocking back and forth on his heels a little.
"I don't mean to rush away, but I'm going to have to go and get changed." He was supposed to have a job interview that afternoon, and it would likely take him a good long while to get there, so he figured the earlier he got started, the better.
"I meant what I said about helping to fix your jacket though. Let me know if you need any help with it." He then took a hand out of his pocket to give her a wave. "See ya later!" He said, while turning and shambling back off towards the undead dorms.

Taryn just stood there a moment as everyone scampered away. She could only give Alex an "It's no problem! I'll see you!" as he made his sudden leave.
...what... what had just happened?
