A small, cat like monster caught Syd off guard, she was so busy looking for their perfect house. She let out a snarl and kicked the little little monster off of her boot, sending it slamming into the nearest wall and dissipating into black ash. "Can't you see we're busy, nyan?" she complained. Then she flushed. "Oh! That's one kill, nyan!!" she said happily. "I'm going to try and win, nyan!"
But when competing with people like Cass and Candace and Aria, she was pretty sure she had a HUGE battle on her hands.

Shots were fired, flames were shot, and Candace stayed the hell out of the way of them. She was not going to get hit no sir. An open meeting though? That sounded interesting! Candace shook her head, pouting at Aria as she said she hadn't been a good leader. "What have I told you, Nyan? I think you're doing fine as a leader, nyan~! But a meeting is a good idea~." She purred, pausing as she did. Weird. They were all acting more and more cat-like the longer they wore these ears. Was it the headbands? Huh...oh well.
She took Cass duck hunting? Fun! "Did you get any ducks, nyan~?" Candace asked with a grin, about to ask why they didn't share said ducks until they decided to move on. Candace moved to follow them, stopping when she heard Sydney call out about winning the kill count. Hmmm? "Don't wanna come inside and check out the house?"

The young woman ended up toddling after everyone else, her lance slung across her shoulder as she walked, humming that song Allan-Taichou had been singing to them while they cleared out the Main Building. "I do, nyan!" Syd said, chasing after them. "I want to see how good the kitchen is, I want to bake people cupcakes, nyan!" That... that was definitely too girly, now that she'd said it aloud, but she couldn't take it back.

While the others were checking out the structure, Molly just went to town (literally?).
The first creature that latched into her was swatted away and then impaled with her lance. Huh! That sound was really catchy! She hummed it a bit louder.

Molly didn’t have to wait long, for soon another creature was on her.
The young woman swept her lance to push it back, but ended up dissipating it instead. Oh…well! That worked.

The fog made it hard to see very far, but at least there weren't monsters interrupting her! She lifted Izy, using him for as much of a flashlight as anything else. This was sort of spooky, she thought, looking left and right. It would be the perfect setting for a horror movie, she thought.
That... didn't really help, now did it?

Izy said as she let loose on the monster, finishing it off. He started laughing in her head, clearly enjoying himself thoroughly.
I'm not trying to say it, but you are, aren't you? Syd thought at him, still having too much fun to really sound grumpy like she was trying to.
The mist started laughing. He just sounded so utterly ridiculous! Looking around, she turned and headed back to the others, bouncing as she went (not that she realized it.)

Molly yelped in surprise as another slow moving creature ran into her.
That wasn't very nice! The young woman took a jab at it, a bit surprised to see it still standing, but barely. Just another strike should do it!

If only she could hit like this all the time! Molly would be a very happy camper. Maybe if she trained hard enough, though? Girl could dream. Maybe then she could have Allan-Taichou's amazing skills too...
