Robert's loudness was definitely attracting the beasties out it seemed. But Jude had a point. They were here to clear them out and if Robert acted as a magnet, they wouldn't have to go searching as much.

Robert getting pounded by fog creatures put a bad image in his mind.
And so he just tried to distract himself by attacking the one that had last shown itself, getting rid of it in the process.

Looked like everything outside was clear, so Otto went ahead and started to head inside. It seemed quiet. Too quiet. "Hey Robert, go ahead and b***h about yer blue balls again. Monsters love that s**t."

Deryk could practically hear the crickets. The mention of cheeseburgers made his stomach growl though.
"Maaan. Why you have to say that? Now I want burgers. Or something not MREs," he whined.
Apparently the sound of his stomach rumbling called for a creature to come strolling by.

Apparently, Otto was right. Bitching about blue balls summoned monsters. He stared at the one that was now going for Deryk, and then sat up, sucking in a long, huge breath, before screaming.. "I'VE GOT BLUE BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"SURE ENOUGH, ANOTHER MONSTER BARRELLED INTO HIM. He was flat on his back before he could even stand. While most people with blue balls masturbate it seems that in Robert's case...He Monster Baited.
While there were two monsters on board the one that Robert had 'summoned' seemed weaker it was probably a bit better to take that one off the plate right away and hopefully the other two could take care of the first one.
Besides, blue balled or no blue balls, Robert was essentially their healer. They should spend some time keeping him alive.

Well. That worked. Not only was there now two, one got done in really quickly by Jude. Now then, on to the other nasty bugger.
Otto reeled his arm back to attack, only to have the little sucker launch itself at him and bite his ankle. "OW! Dirty sunnuva----"

Deryk winced as Robert shouted out like that. Sure Jude encouraged it buuuut it was still really awkward for him. It was almost distracting enough that he barely noticed the other creature around. Oh right. It dinged him a little and he dinged it right back. With his blade. Yeah. He sure showed it.

As he moved forward, completely ignorant of the last little battle his comrades were fighting behind him, he found something he really wished he hadn't. He could have gone this whole trip without seeing another dead body, but there one was - and it was a girl, too. That was what he hated most about it. She was dead, and he couldn't tell how, but he knew she was dead because her weapon had turned into a tablet. So he reached to pick the tablet up, but when it morphed into something else at the touch of his fingertips, he backed away slowly. "Uh.. guys? I found a friend." Mostly because Jude recognized the type of monster it was. He'd seen it at least three times now and it didn't get any prettier.
He delved into the weaker monster first stabbing his punching daggers into it. The quicker they took care of this the better for everyone involved. "Just ********' great." Otto had seen enough of these to know how much of a pain they were. but, he'd taken one down all on his own once. So having 3 other guys should make it no big deal.
So long as Robert stopped making friends.
Otto reeled back his leg and punted the small creature into oblivion.

This was not a good sign. Flailing a bit while Jude and Otto went to take care of the smaller one, Deryk just tried to stab the bigger one, managing to land a hit.

Okay. Admittedly, that was a big baddie. Robert stopped dicking around, at least for now, and swung Jezebel at the terrible shadow monster. It barely nicked the thing, but it was better than nothing.
