Mot's eyes widened and he hurriedly opened the gift. "Wow! These look amazing!" he exclaimed, so happy and touched that she made him such a personal gift. "I love them. Thank you so much, Lattice." What a privilege to be allowed such a happy moment.
"Koi-Koi? Could you teach me? Let's play tohgether for the afternoon."

"I am so happy you enjoy them and I hope the inks work well for you," she said softly with a bit of happiness creeping into her monotone voice. She shifted a bit in her seat, "Would you like to learn with your own personal deck or would you like me to use mine?"
As she waited for an answer she helped herself to a small piece of cake so she could enjoy it as she awaited Mot's answer.
It made her so happy that someone wanted to play a simple card game with her.

"How about yours?" Mot offered, placing his deck back in the box. He took this moment to have a slice of cake as well, since Lattice had been so kind as to bring it. He wasn't a big eater, in fact he was picky, but he'd never turn his nose up at a gift.
"This is very good cake." He commented with a smile, taking another small bite.
