Mimi smiled when Remarque gave her a compliment. She wasn't 100% sure why, but she felt as though someone like him didn't normally give compliments... Doesn't fit his... 'persona'? But other than that, she thanked him. "That means a lot to me. More so because... I feel like I needed someone to tell me that."
There was some sort of disappointment when she found out that the wraith would change. Maybe it was the fact that she wanted to know her 'partner' in stealing energy. But with that, Mimi kind of wanted to see all the different faces of the wraiths, ugly or not.
Out of curiosity, she looked at Remarque and then back at her shard. "That means you have more than one of these, right," Mimi questioned him as she raised his shard. "Does that mean you can summon more than once or something?"

That Mimistrobell seemed grateful with his words made it mostly worth it to Remarque. Just as long as she didn't get used to it or anything. She was full of good questions and seemed to be trying her hardest to fully grasp every piece of information he provided her with, so even if Remarque felt like he might have important things to tend to, he didn't mind stickign around to make sure she knew what she was getting herself into. The last thing he wanted to do was have her out in this war, not knowing what she was supposed to be doing. Not knowing how to do it.
He answered her question with a nod. "Yeah. It's only one wraith per shard, but I've got three shards. You'll get more, eventually. The more power you've got, the more you'll be able to control, and the more Ares will trust you with. Not that she doesn't trust you now, just that things can get messy. There are a lot of strong people out there that might take advantage of you being new. It costs a lot of energy for Ares to make more shards, so you'll get more when you can protect yourself from the people who'd want to destroy them."

"Princess Ares... Trust..." MImi was in a bit of a state thinking of how much better she can do. There was always room for improvement since she was new at all of this, and she wanted to make her Princess proud. Even now, she wanted to show Remarque that she could improve.
Mimi smiled at him. "Thank you so much for helping me, Remarque. I apologize for attacking you in the first place..." She genuinely felt bad, and was a bit embarassed for not knowing they were on the same side. "I guess I should have sensed that your energy was the same as mine and been more careful but... Lesson learned for next time!"
She reached out her hand for a handshake. "I think I should go home now. Maybe try to get more energy on my way home, but can't spend too much time out here!" Of course, she wanted to, but was still intimidated by being in the dark... Where people could attack her. She needed to learned to physically defend herself more before she decided to spend more time out here.

Remarque waved his hand nonchalantly to dismiss her apology before extending it to grip her hand. He supplied a firm handshake and acknowledged her words with a nod. "Spend what time you can, but don't push yourself into it. I'd rather you take your time and get used to things than throw yourself all in and get overwhelmed. But, if you keep up how you are, you'll have it all mastered in no time." He flashed her another smile, genuinely glad to see her trying her hardest. She might have been on edge, but at least she was aware.
That might save her life, one of these days. He couldn’t even be that mad with her.
"It was good to meet you, Mimistrobell. Give me a call if you need anything. I'll always make time for a Court member. Otherwise, take care of yourself, you hear? Don't bite off more than you can chew."

Mimi smiled at him. "That means I can bug you for more help if I need it right?" It was a bit of a silly grin, but she couldn't help but be a bit giddy that night since she managed to improve on being able to summon the mirror wraith. "I'm going to depend on you for help since... I'd rather ask you than bother Princess Ares about things."
She smiled and waved the compact communicator at Remarque. "You have one of these too right? I'll... Learn how to use this sometime and bother you more often." Mimi smiled and stuck out her tongue a little bit at him.
"I'm just kidding. Only in dire situations. Promise." Mimi gave him a small bow of respect before turning towards a mirror, wanting to head home quicker. Before turning away, she gave him a small wave. "You take care too! I promise I won't get into trouble! Or... At least try not to..."

Remarque donned a small smile; he wasn't particularly impressed with her humor, but then again—his taste in humor was probably a little different from hers. He watched as Mimistrobell turned, perhaps just to make sure she didn't have anything else she wanted to ask before leaving. When she was a fair distance away, he just shook his head and made off in the other direction.
It brought him relief to know that their numbers were still growing—even if the new members still had a lot to learn. He pulled out his compact, looking at it rather distastefully; it was not the most masculine article he possessed, though he carried it out of necessity.
If Mimistrobell wanted to contact him, he'd make sure that she could.
