Anneth looked at the male, brow furrowed. Someone actually wanted him to stay a kit? Why was that? What would have been so good about being a kit forever? Was it possible for a mother or father to love their kits so much that they wished for that to happen? Could this fox be the one to answer all the questions she had about 'loving families'? "Must have been nice," she grumbled.

“Yes it was nice, now don’t get me wrong we still had our fights and arguments like any family would, but I’d say we are all a pretty loving family. I’ll go back and see them eventually. Of course by then I hope to have lots of fun and interesting stories to tell them.” Was him just him or was this vixen staring at him strangely. Ah well he supposed it must his perky attitude. He had noticed that seemed to be in short supply in other foxes.

"So you hope that by regaling them with all these stories they will see that you do not have to stay a kit forever and that you could take care of yourself?" Made sense to her. Have some way to prove to the family that he did not need them worrying about him. Frowning, Anneth leaned down again to lazily try to catch something from the pool.

“Well that’s not the only think I hope to achieve but in a sense yes. You have it just so.” He watched as she turned her attention from him and back to the water. He simply sat down and waited in silence. He wasn’t sure if she approved or disproved of his plans but he found talking to her pleasant enough either way. He wondered why she seemed mad, or rather more seriously focused than most foxes.
