He sighed, straightening up before pinching the bridge of his nose, and flopping back down on his armchair, "Oh, do what you want." He sounded almost exasperated, or as exasperated as Thanatos could sound, but he had one arm rested on the arm of the armchair, hand propping up his head as he watched Amphi, one eyebrow raised.
Biskoto had peeked out from under the couch that Amphi was seated on the moment she heard her name, although she looked really guilty; she had intended to leave the pair alone, and go into her room, but she had gotten distracted... And stayed in the room, listening to their conversation. The more she listened, the more she found that she couldn't leave - which was why she was "hiding" under the couch.
"Oh darling..." She slithered up onto the couch, and over to her lap, the rest of her body trailing behind her, "You're sssssso sssweet, Amphi..." She nuzzled her arm, "Sssssuch a good ghoul..."

Amphi blinked as he just flopped down on the chair and clapped her hands.
"Biskoto. I am no such thing...." She nuzzled the snake who had appeared and then handed the snake....um...her two pins. "Because you guys are my friends." She smiled at the snake first, took a sip of her tea and eyed the reaper.
And then she thought of something that another Reaper friend had taught her. Perhaps....A hug was in order for Thana to understand!
"Excuse me Biskoto." She kissed the snake on the nose, nuzzling her before sliding out of the Snake's grip. She took a breath, her face flaming before plopping (not so gently) on Thana's lap and wrapping her arms around his neck. "Someone told me that this is good for sharing heat....and hugs are good for friends so...." She hugged him tight and pretended that her whole body wasn't flamed from the tip of her head to her little toes.

As Biskoto had no hands, she ended up balancing both pins on the top of her head as she wondered what to do with them. Moving, however, caused both pins to drop on the couch, and she ended up staring at them with a pout. When she turned to ask both Amphi and Thanatos for help, however, her jaw dropped at what she saw... And then she buried her head into the couch.
She saw nothing.
"Hugs are supposed to be good for friends," He was poker facing, his expression unreadable as he leaned against the back of the armchair, with his Amphi-attachment, "However, whoever told you that you need to be seated on the lap of said friend must be thinking of something else... Unless you're trying to seduce me - which really isn't working - in which case, this is perfectly acceptable."

Amphi could barely see things as her head was currently ducked into Thana's neck and she was trying really hard not to breathe and because she was doing that, her hug got TIGHTER.
Almost suffocatingly so.
"Then It's good that I am giving you a hug yes? Cause we are FRIENDS" Her voice was stifled in his neck (Plus she would make him get used to her saying they were friends because JACKED DAMNED IF THEY WEREN'T). Plus she wouldn't really let him go because if she did, it meant that she had to look at his face.
"Uh...Well no one told me that I had to be in their lap. But this Reaper I met, he told me that when you sat in his lap, he could share his heat with you!" Amphi nodded, "His name was False. he said that you guys are friends. He has good advice I think. Plus hugs are good for friends!" She frowned before pulling back and resting her hands on his shoulders to blink. "Seducing? Why would I do that?"

"False, huh? Yes, I do know him," He answered, pausing for a bit as he started to chuckle. Which soon turned into laughter, "I see, and you sat on his lap when he suggested for you to do so? To share his heat?" He gently pushed Amphi away, taking her chin and tilting her head up so that she would be looking at him, "Do you understand what seducing means, my little mermaid?"
He seemed rather fond of that nickname.

Amphi nodded at Thanatos, "Yes, False. He has the cutest Familiar. But oh, Biskoto, your my favorite!" She made sure to say loud enough for the snake to hear, where ever she disappeared to. She blinked though as he started to laugh before frowning.
"Well but....That's how he showed me. I mean, it was sorta of odd because he was in some type of bath robe and his chest was exposed but It made me feel his heat indeed. Because he is a Pyromancing Reaper." Amphi wasn't sure what Thana was getting at. Did he not sit in False's lap to share heat?
She flushed as she met his eyes before blinking and trying to duck her head away. She couldn't though as his hand held her chin now. "Um...."
She waited a beat...
"Is it...er..."
Another beat...
"When you...kiss someone?" Made no sense because she had hugged him....Her face was flushing now as she forced her gaze DOWN....and AWAY.

Biskoto was too absorbed with how soft and comfortable the couch was to hear.
"Wait here," He lifted her off his lap, and vanished into his room, closing the door. When he opened the door again, he was dressed very simply - in a bathrobe tied around his waist, his dreads pulled back into a ponytail, "Like this?" Without waiting for an answer, he was back on the arm chair again, with Amphi back on his lap as he held her there.
"All reapers are warm blooded," He put his arms around her, holding her to his chest, "Now, tell me, do you feel warm now too? And kissing is one way of seducing, I suppose, a rather straight-forward way-" He laughed, still holding her as he leaned back, "But it is not the only way."

IT WAS A GOOD THING BISKOTO WAS IN THE COUCH YES.
Amphi squeaked as he picked her up, dropped her neatly and crossed her arms curiously. She could hear the sounds of things being rustled and such but it wasn't till Thana stepped out that had Amphi blinking...and double taking.
Why was Thana half naked?
Why was Thana dressed like False was?
"Uh...Um..." She seemed to have no speech pattern as she was just...flabbergasted. Same reaction to False to be honest. "It...yes....He wore the same thing...." She nodded and then squeaked again when he picked her up (OMG DOES SHE WEIGH NOTHING TO YOU THANA!?!!?).
He was bare chested.
Bare.
Chested.
AND SHE WAS TOUCHING HIM WHAT IS THIS, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AGAIN!?!?
"I...but..." her brows furrowed as she looked at him, "But he said that it was cause he was a Pyromancer? Because it was the Pyromancer's soul!" She tapped him in the chest....then laid her hand like False did over hers where False had mention a soul of some sort for his magic, "It's....warm too." She was confused now before blinking up at Thana. "I...." She wriggled in his lap, her body again heating up as that same....
Awareness of something spread through her body.
"There are other ways to seducing?" Why did Amphi feel like she was missing something important to the matter.
WHY WAS SHE STILL TOUCHING THANA'S BARE CHEST WHAT IS THIS!?!?

"Of course it's warm," He laughed, putting his hand over hers, "All reapers are warm. It does not matter what sort of reaper... As long as it's not a dead one. Perhaps you should try hugging more of them one day, if you wish to find that out for yourself. If you stay still long enough, you should be able to feel my heart beating too."
He went silent, hand still pressed over Amphi's, which was pressed on his chest.
"Perhaps there are more ways than just one," He answered, removing her hand, holding it to bring her fingers up to his lips, "How do you feel right now? As you sit on my lap? Is it comfortable?" He might had grinned a little at that.

Amphi's frown deepened at his comment.
"But...he said he was a Pyromancer." She waited...." He had Flame that appeared out of his HAND. Isn't Fire naturally hotter!?!? Wouldn't that make him Warmer then other reapers?!!?" She bit her lip. "I don't want to hug all the reapers." The statement came out more of a squeak as she felt his laugh.
When he settled though, and her hand remained on his chest. She felt the soft thump of his heart and stared wide eyed. She had never felt another's hearbeat. It was....odd. Another feeling of Awareness shot through her and had her moving her gaze from his BARE CHEST OH GOD, to his face.
Followed by her gaze was her own hand brought to his lips.
"I don't understand. I'm not sure If-" She flushed as he asked her how she felt and debated if she should really tell him. Rather then lie (because she was sure he would know) She said whatever came to mind. "Well...I feel odd. Like there is some kind of warm feeling in my stomach but it feels like there is a lot of butterflies. And then I feel kinda of tingly but I don't understand why." She frowned at him a blush deepening on her cheeks, "Its not uncomfortable but....your chest is bare...and distracting..." She added in a meeker voice. "And I feel warm....really warm. Not Hot but Warm. Why is it like this?"
She had yet to realize that maybe if she got off, she wouldn't feel all this....odd awareness about how her body was reacting to Thana's.

"A Pyromancer is just a wizard who specializes in fire spells," He replied with a chuckle, finding amusement in Amphi's reaction to his actions, "It does not make him hotter-" HA, "-than the average reaper. He probably said that to try to impress you. In other words, he was flirting with you... I imagine someone like you would do wonders for an ego like his."
His grin widened at her words, mostly because she was as easy to read as an open book printed in size 18 font. With color pictures.
"That's the desired effect, really, because I was flirting with you," He kissed her on her fingers and then let her hand go, lifting her off his lap and onto the armchair while he moved to the couch - where Biskoto was trying to pretend that she's not there. If snakes could blush, she would be glowing pink by now, "Ghouls like you... Often end up crushing on boils who are nice to you. You might not even realize that the boil was flirting... Do you remember the ghoul we met on the beach? The one who was with that unruly vampire boil?" He had clearly already forgotten their names, "Ghouls like her blatantly flirt back, instead of turning as red as an apple... You, my little mermaid, is more attractive the way you are now though, even if you are such a child."

Amphi was a little sad that she couldn't even tell the magics compared to the species of Reaper. She assumed that like Monsters....Reapers were a specific type of element...or spell? Or whatever they were.
"So....because he specilizes in fire...Doesn't mean that he is actually any...warmer then another Reaper." She flushed putting her head into her hands. Oh gosh, had she been duped?!?! Maybe. He deposited her on the chair, taking a seat on the couch opposite.
"Your...." She looked up at him, "Flirting with me???" Okay she knew what FLIRTING was. Mac had done it often...hand't he? But his flirting had been kissing and touching her...Ohhhhhhhhh.
Made sense now.
"Why would I do wonders for his Ego?" She held up a hand before shaking her head, "Especially if I wasn't flirting back? Unless I am...Am I flirting? Do I flirt Thanatos?" Her face screwed up at his clear explanation of how she reacted, and then got worst as she remembered Lou. The uncouth rude to Xiu...and the ghoul on his arm no worst. Well not really. She had been bolder in her words and actions then Amphi would ever be. So maybe she didn't flirt.
"I see." She flushed at the mention of her ability to turn into an Apple..."Is crushing on someone bad?" She blinked, "Especially someone who is nice to you?" She wrung her hands in her lap, looking at him now. "So I am a child in the ways of...um...Sedecution and Flirting."

"I was flirting with you, but since you regard me as a friend, I feel obligated to warn you that while boils - and ghouls - might flirt with you, you must be the one to draw a line. Never allow others to take advantage of you, including me," He stood up and adjusted his bathrobe so that it was worn in the correct manner, his grin widening when he turned to look at Amphi, "Unless, of course, you were enjoying my affection." Being on his lap and being kissed by him, even if they were all chaste kisses.
"You weren't flirting consciously, I believe," He answered with a chuckle, sitting back down and reaching for his glass of tea now that he was properly dressed, "You do wonders for his ego because of your personality... But that would take a long time to explain, so let's save that conversation for another day, shall we?" Because no doubt, something else would have come up by then, leading to 'this topic shall be forgotten by Amphi'.
"It is not a bad thing," He took a sip of tea, "In fact, I would say that it is perfectly normal..." But it was something he had been incapable of doing for a long time now, "No... You, my little mermaid, is a child with emotions. Again, not a bad thing. Sometimes, it might be better to stay that way."

She blinked at him before flushing. She did think of Thanatos as a friend....but to flirt with her? Was he feeling some sort of friendly obligation towards her? No...Somewhere she hoped that maybe in all that indifference, he felt the same abut her as she did him. A valuable friend and someone to learn from.
Could he learn from her?
"I see! So....If I feel uncomfortable, I have to just say no and they will stop?" It was that simple right? She blinked as the robe was put on right, "But you wouldn't do anything to me anyways because we're friends." She smiled up at him innocently, so easy to trust him. That smile bloomed again with that common blush for her before waving her hand. "I.....didn't dislike it but didn't like it either." She frowned.
"because of my personality?" The frowned deepened before nodding. If she remembered this conversation, she'd ask him about it again. Besides, she was learning A LOT and it was A LOT TO TAKE IN.
"So it's not bad to crush, It's normal." She thought of Mac all over again and wondered if she really truly liked him then. Maybe she just...like Thana said, enjoyed the affection of someone else. Even if it was brief, Mac had been very kind after all.
Jack. She sucked in a breath and sighed. She didn't understand Thana's words about her being a child with emotions, but assumed it was something that he would explain to her another time as well. "Better to be that way? If I am a child, does that make you a adult? Your so calm about most things....besides your grin..." She flustered thinking of that calculating grin, one he wore OFTEN. "I suppose then....I'll have to start being careful then! I suppose then me and False can't be hugging friends...." She almost seemed saddened but at the same time, if she was enticing the Reaper for something more she couldn't offer, wasn't it better to stop it in its tracks?

"Sometimes you need to be forceful, especially if the other person is being really rude and insistent. If it comes to that, and it is a male, I believe kicking them in between the legs would be your best bet," He was saying all of this while grinning, and sipping his peach tea, "I wouldn't do anything to you because it would be like doing these things to a child, who doesn't understand the significance behind my actions."
He paused, holding the glass of tea away from him, "An adult? Perhaps." He took another sip of tea before raising an eyebrow, "There is a limit to intimacy among friends... As long as you're not seated on their lap while hugging them, I doubt your display of affection would be labeled as more than just that. For example, you wouldn't kiss a friend on the lips, would you?"
