Beti blinked, nodding. "That's fine. Again...I'll do my best to stay out of others' ways. And I can do my own hunting, as well." She grinned. "Growing up where I did...I'm not the best at catching large game, but I can catch the things most others seem to think are hard." Like hares. And meerkats. And other nimble, burrowing beasts. And birds!

"Shupavu. I guard this land." No need to mention he was the leader. "I'll see you again, I suppose." And he turned to leave Beti to rest, slipping away into the jungle to go to sleep himself. He'd done his 'nice' for the day.
