Vincent followed Aurora into the house, although they were separated by each of their soldier entourages. When both the werewolves were inside, the soldiers left the house. Aurora headed for the kitchen, so Vincent slipped into the bathroom and toweled off.

He came back into the rec room and noticed Aurora was lounging on the couch. He was about to ask if Ava and Argos had returned yet, when the door separating the house from the rest of the facility opened, and soldiers poured in.

"Back up you two. Over there, on the wall. Don't make us stun you." Vincent growled low in his throat, but moved to the wall the soldiers indicated, nonchalantly placing himself between the soldiers and Aurora. She had the rest of her pack to think about, and he needed to be able to grab her if there was something wrong with either of her pack mates. They'd never trust him if he let something happen to her while they were gone.

Ava was brought in on a stretcher. She was unconscious, so two of the soldier types laid her out on the couch. "She's breathing." He muttered under his breath. Vince was relieved, and then quickly looked around for Argos. He was wheeled in, sitting in the largest wheelchair Vince had ever seen. He supposed it was built specially to accommodate him.

Argos was already stirring. No doubt his big body was burning off whatever sedative they'd given him. The soldiers must have realized the same thing. They didn't even bother to un-strap him from the chair before making a hasty retreat.

Vincent stayed where he was, despite the urge he felt to go and help Argos out of the chair. Neither he or Aurora had any idea what had been done to the other two, and Vincent didnt want to tempt Argos when he first woke up. He'd leave that to Aurora.

Ava fluttered back into consciousness. The first thing she realized was she was still alive. Next, she did a mental check to make sure all of her limbs were still attached. Carefully, Ava opened her eyes. She was on her back, staring up at the ceiling, laying on a couch in an almost unfamiliar room. The rec room at the compound.

Ava stirred, and sat up. Everything felt like it was on overdrive. An adrenaline rush turned up to a hundred. Her eyesight was sharper than ever before, and her already sensitive hearing had entensified to the point where she could hear the other three people in the room breathing. Then, she was overwhelmed by the most amazing smell.

Ava's brain zeroed in on the scent, one hundred percent focused. In a flash, she was standing before the source of that heveanly smell. A very small part of Ava's mind realized this is how an addict must feel, standing before their fix. That part was quickly silenced by the rest of her mind, screaming at her to have it, touch it, taste it - find another way to experience this scent, make it hers, claim it, mark it as her own. The overwhelming need almost brought her to her knees.

It felt agaonizingly slow, but Ava's light blue eyes travelled up the body in front of her - way, way up - and Ava's eyes locked with Argos's. Mine

Aurora grudgingly complied with the guards and moved up against the wall. She blinked when Vincent stood slightly in front of her, she wondered why he would do that, but her attention quickly shifted to Argos and Ava. Ava seemed to be alright, and Argos was still under the effects of whatever sedatives they used on him, but they were quickly wearing off. She took a step forward to help Argos out of his bonds when Ava sat up, looking like someone had just given her an electric shock. Aurora immediately caught her scent; something was off, her pheromones were all out of whack. What exactly did they inject into her? She apparently caught the scent of something, and stood up quicker than Aurora had ever seen her move and step in front of Argos. Aurora wondered whether she was going to help him out of his bonds when she saw Argos stir from his drug induced nap.

Argos felt his senses coming back to him one by one, his arms and legs felt restricted as he tried to move them a little, noticing he was strapped into some sort of chair. He growled lightly to himself, his sense of taste then coming back as he felt his mouth was rather dry, though that was fairly normal. Then his sense of smell came back and he caught the scent of something, something wonderful. He shook his head to try and clear it, but it only served to fog up his head with the scent even more. Finally he opened his eyes, he had to see where that scent was coming from. He noticed someone standing in front of him, his eyes followed the body up to the face. "Ava." he thought to himself as he inhaled again and caught the same scent. He wasn't sure why, but he wanted whatever the scent was coming from, it was too good to ignore. And it seemed that the scent was coming from Ava, which meant he had to have her.

His instincts kicked in as he locked eyes with hers, the urge to tackle her to the ground was overpowering. He growled slightly and pulled his arms free of the metal bonds, breaking them open like they were a minor annoyance. Getting to his feet, Argos pulled his legs free of their bonds and looked at Ava. He simply stared at the female werewolf for a moment before he took a step forward and put his arms around her in a tight embrace. The height difference was bothersome, so he lifted up her light frame and kissed her; the female werewolf's scent filling his mind with a fog that made him forget about anything else. His instincts weren't about to let him stop there; he wanted to do more than just hold Ava; he wanted to make her his, he wanted to claim dominance over her and make sure she knew it. Argos moved forward while kissing Ava and holding her up in the air; reaching the wall next to the entrance to the bedroom and slamming her up against it, violently enough to knock over a few pictures and the lamp on the desk nearby. Still, it wasn't enough, he needed more. Argos broke the kiss with Ava and growled lightly, leaning over and licking her neck before unpinning Ava from the wall and carrying her into the bedroom.

Aurora blinked as she watched what happened, seing Argos being so rough with Ava would have made her think he was trying to kill her if he wasn't kissing her like that. She watched them move into the bedroom and didn't say anything for a bit. Stunned into silence, Aurora blinked and shook her head as if to assure herself that what just happened wasn't just a dream brought on by some sort of chemical in the water she drank. "That's... new." She said to Vincent, still standing next to him by the wall. "I don't think that's ever happened before. Normally they're both more... restrained?" She still couldn't believe that had just happened, though she supposed if Ava's pheromones were so out of whack that Aurora could smell them, Argos and Vincent must have been able to practically taste them. Seeing how Argos reacted, she glanced over at Vincent and reached down to button her shirt up a little bit; she didn't exactly need something like that happening to her.

As Ava stood in front of Argos, he began to stir. His light growl seemed to roll over Ava and reverberated through her entire body. The sensation made her shiver. It was then that Argos opened his eyes, and as they traveled up her body, Ava suddenly despised the clothes she wore.

When Argos's eyes met hers and he breathed her name, it was like a flame ignited inside her. And yet in so spite of the intense heat she felt, when Argos growled again she froze, watching as he ripped through the metal bonds holding him in place; snapping them as if they were made of plastic. He rose to his full height before her, Ava tilting her head back, panting slightly.

There was a moment where the two werewolves stared at each other, and then the hormones kicked it up another notch. Argos closed the small distance between them in a flash, pressing Ava tight to his chest. But it wasn't enough, she needed to know more of him. Argos must have felt the same way, because in the next instant Argos had lifted her off the floor, and kissed her. Ava kissed him back as her legs wrapped around his torso, and all she knew was the sight of him, feel of him, that intoxicating scent that pushed everything else from her mind and demanded more.

Argos pinned her back to the wall, the crash of breaking glass and falling pictures barely registering in Ava's mind as a small growl escaped her in response to his. Ava arched her back and fisted her hands in his hair as he ran his tongue along her throat. Argos peeled them from the wall, and carried her into the bedroom.

Vincent felt as though he was going to have to scrape his jaw up off the floor. What the hell did those humans give them?! Vincent glanced over at Aurora, who looked as shocked as Vince felt. "I don't even...that was....wow." Vincent blinked a few times and shook his head.

Everything had happened so quickly when Ava and Argos were brought back, Vince hadn't really had the time to process the situation. Now that he thought about it though, both Ava and Argos had smelled different. Ava had certainly smelled good - enough that even Vince noticed - but not enough that she had the same effect on Vince as she did on Argos. And even if she had, Argos was radiating the bonding scent in waves, warning all other males near Ava to back off.

Still though, Vince had to shift once or twice and collect his thoughts, but he did notice Aurora doing up a few buttons on her shirt. So Aurora wasn't unaffected either. He thought. That's comforting. Vince, recovered enough from his initial shock, went over to the wall and picked up the broken lamp and set it on the table.

"So that's..." He stopped to clear his throat, and motioned to the bedroom. "Never happened before? They don't normally....do this kind of thing...with each other?" Vincent raised an eyebrow, and couldn't help but grin. They sure did sound like they were having fun in there, and he had noticed the door had been left open in their haste. Vince wondered how Aurora would feel about the situation. He supposed this should be awkward, but he actually found it kind of amusing. Maybe it was the effect of the other two's heightened pheromones on him.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 5:36 pm

Aurora exhaled lightly, shaking her head and replying, "No they don't... I didn't even know they liked each other that way." She looked over at Vincent to see his grin, she couldn't help but chuckle at the situation as well, if only to dispel the awkwardness of it. Aurora heard the pair from the bedroom and sighed lightly. Reaching up and pulling some of the hair that was sticking to her face away, she was suddenly very aware of Vincent's presence next to her. She didn't notice it at first because she was stunned by what had happened, but Argos was giving off an even stronger scent than Ava had been. She suspected it was similar to the way Ava must have been to Vincent and Argos, she could practically taste his scent, and it was making her mouth water. She picked up the bottle of water she had and sipped some of it, if only to distract her from what had happened. She walked over to the wall and put up one of the pictures that was intact, reaching down and cleaning up some of the glass, placing it on the broken picture and setting that on the nearby counter.

There wasn't much to say with Argos and Ava in the background, so for the sake of having a semi-normal conversation, Aurora walked over to the door, holding her breath the whole way so she wasn't effected further by the pair in the bedroom. Closing the door she exhaled and said, "I guess I know why Argos was the Alpha before me... He's tough, and apparently the ladies go nuts over him." She was really just making conversation while cleaning up the things Argos had broken. After cleaning up a bit, Aurora walked over to the couch and sat down with a heavy sigh. What was there to really talk about? Vincent was the Alpha of a rival pack, an enemy of hers, what could she really talk about with him that wouldn't compromise some element of her pack's safety?

"If that's what it's like with no pre-existing 'feelings'..." Vince shook his head good naturedly. "I think we might need ear plugs." He called over his shoulder as he made his way into the kitchen while Aurora tidied up the mess the two jacked-up love birds made. Vincent needed to be doing something to distract him from what was going on in that room, and needed to put some physical distance between himself and Aurora, just to be safe.

Vince rifled through the cupboards, and then moved on to the fridge, trying to decide on something to eat. He breathed a sigh of relief as the sounds from the bedroom muffled, and Aurora settled in on the couch. Vince moved around the kitchen, collecting various pots, pans, and cocking ingredients. He felt at home in the kitchen, as this was the one thing the pack allowed him to do for himself, and for them, besides his sketches. Vince turned on the stove and frowned. "Argos was the Alpha before you? What happened?"

Usually in the werewolf world, one Alpha has to die before another took over. Vince asked out of genuine curiosity as he worked, but he realized Aurora might not see it that way. He was honestly wondering what the situation was that allowed Argos to step down as Alpha without the pack abandoning Aurora. Those situations, the very few times they happened, more often than not turned ugly.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 6:32 pm

Aurora watched as Vincent moved through the kitchen without any real purpose; though he looked like he knew what he was doing in the kitchen. If she had to guess, she would have to say that he was distancing himself from her, since even just breathing in Argos and Ava's scent was so potent it effected both of them. She got a little more comfortable on the couch and replied, "I saved his life. Simple as that. He owed me, which meant that, under the rules of his pack, he had to give up his title of Alpha." Aurora sipped her drink and smiled lightly, fondly remembering the past. She sighed and waited a few moments, collecting her thoughts and making sure she was remembering everything correctly before continuing, "I wasn't originally from my pack. I was born to a pair of exiled werewolves, they were from rival packs, but they loved each other, and were exiled for it, that's as much as I know, since they died when I was little. I was hunting and tracking my food through a forest when I came across Argos. He was fighting off a group of about twenty werewolves from another pack, who decided it would be a good idea to ambush him while he was hunting. He took out most of them, but twenty on one isn't good odds, even for Argos. I jumped in to help him, since fighting like that is so dishonorable and unfair I just had to do something. Long story short, I wound up saving his a** from getting killed. His pack laws stated that if an Alpha owes a life debt to someone, they can take over the Alpha position. I don't know if you have something similar or not, but that's the way it was for him."

Aurora closed her eyes and smiled, remembering when she first joined the pack, and how much fun she had actually having a family. Of course, the noise coming from the next room kind of ruined her moment. Grumbling to herself, Aurora stood up and headed into the kitchen, looking over at Vincent with a smile and asking, "Gonna cook dinner? What'cha making for us?"

Vincent nodded through Ava's story. His pack did have a similar rule, it just wasn't something any of the pack thought they'd have to consider with Clayton as Vincent's Beta. He was just too protective of Vince. Clay had saved his life multiple times, but would never dream of taking over the position from Vince, so that was that.

Actually, now that I think of it, the other pack members feel the same. Vincent smiled to himself. There's just something to knowing your pack trusts you to be the best leader for them, so much so that none will contest it. There was a particularly loud noise from the bedroom, at which point Aurora got up and joined him in the kitchen. Vince focused intently on his cooking again for a few moments while a fresh wave of pheromones washed through the room. When it was safe to breathe again, he replied 'Steak. And roasted potatoes. Some veggies, rice - if you're inclined for stir fry - and fettucini alfredo. I found a nice vintage red wine as well," Vince stopped at another noise from the bedroom, then resumed moving the vegetables around in the skillet moments later, "But given our current situation I'm not sure wine is such a good idea. In which case, there's lots more water in the fridge."

Vincent knew as werewolves, they all had an extremely high metabolism, so everyone would need to eat as much of the many different food groups as possible in order to stay in top physical condition, so he would cook with that in mind. Vince hoped their captors would feel the same, since most of their experimenting had to do with their physical capabilities.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 8:03 pm

Aurora licked her lips at Vincent's food choices; she had been interrupted during lunch, and hadn't eaten breakfast. Of course, she had no idea what time it was, since the whole facility was indoors, the windows leading to fake backdrops with simulated sunlight. She held her breath for a moment then said, "If you're as good a cook as you seem... Woof." Aurora didn't really need to say any more, so she set about getting things ready for dinner and helping out with anything Vincent required for the food preparation. Argos and Ava only seemed to get louder as time went on, this was the problem with werewolves and sex; they never, EVER, tired out. "So what about you Vincent? How did you get to be Alpha of your pack? Are you one of those monarchy packs that rule by blood or are you like ours, the person best suited to lead does so? I've even heard of packs that rule by democracy, that always makes me laugh." Aurora chuckled and set the plates and utensils at the table; she only set two places since it didn't seem like Argos and Ava would be joining them.

The heat from the stove and the oven was making Aurora very warm, so she undid all the buttons to her shirt, feeling that she could better have a handle on things now that she was sort of used to the increase in pheromones in the room. She wasn't just showing her chest to Vincent though, she had a thin undershirt on below that. As the food cooked, the scent of pheromones blended with the scent of a well cooked meal, making it a bit easier on Aurora's nose. She loved the smell of a steak cooked rare, even if it was blended with various other food scents.

The tightness between Vincent's shoulders was the only out word sign he was affected by what was happening in the bedroom. It was a struggle to ignore both the sounds, and harder to ignore the scent, but preparing the meal helped, and talking with Aurora provided a welcome distraction.

Luckily, he had to focus on chopping up the red and green peppers or he was going to lose a finger. "My pack is a monarchy...was, a monarchy." Vincent said, concentrating on the vegetables and cutting board before him. He could probably do this with his eyes closed, but making a point of focusing on the food helped his mind stay clear, and kept the memories at bay. "I don't have children, and a lot of things have changed between my fathers time as Alpha and mine. If I'm not killed before I'm ready to step down, I plan on appointing the person I feel is best suited for the job."

Vince tossed the peppers and onions into the pan with the steak, and sauteed the mix for a few moments - just long enough for the vegetables to soak up some of the steak juice. As he reached to turn off the stove, a flicker of movement caught his attention. Aurora had undone all the buttons on her shirt, revealing the thin under shirt she wore beneath. Vince looked away as he flicked off the stove, and motioned for Aurora to sit down. "Go, take a seat."

He brought the steaming bowl of rice into the kitchen, and spooned a large helping on to her plate. Then he piled on the steak and vegetable mixture from the still smoking pan. The steak was dark on the outside, and bloody in the middle - rare just the way he liked it. He hoped Aurora enjoyed her steak the same way. Vince returned to the kitchen, and came back to the table with the pasta, serving Aurora another large portion. He poured Aurora some water from the bottle into a wine glass with a grin, then fetched his own heaping plate from the kitchen and sat down across from her.

"Please, eat." Vincent nodded towards her, eager to see how she would react to his cooking.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2012 5:21 pm

Aurora smiled at Vincent's explanation of his pack's leadership style. She had seen packs with monarchies before, they were only very rarely successful. Aurora believed in the way that her pack was run, the person best suited for the title of Alpha was chosen. If someone couldn't lead, they couldn't be Alpha. Aurora noticed Vincent's glance in her direction, his eyes moving towards her chest then looking away back to his cooking. She chuckled and said, heading over to the table, "Alright, if you think you've got everything handled." Sitting down at the place she had set, she waited for Vincent to finish cooking, finishing off the bottle of water she had set on the table.

Tossing the bottle into the garbage can, Aurora smiled as Vincent came over and served dinner. Her eyes looked over the feast he had prepared, and just the sight alone made her mouth water. She inhaled lightly and wanted to dig in right then and there, but it was the polite thing to wait for Vincent. She couldn't help but chuckle when he poured her some water in a wine glass with a grin on his face. She waited for him to sit down and start in on his own food before she cut a piece of her steak off and took a bite. Closing her eyes, Aurora hummed and savored the exquisite flavor before swallowing. "Oh... my... GOD!" Aurora exclaimed as she took a sip of her water, her eyes looking over the food laid out before them. "Do you even know how long it's been since I've had a steak that good?" Aurora quickly cut herself another piece and savored the flavor of it again. "Too long. This is cooked to perfection... I wouldn't mind eating this all day every day."

Aurora chuckled and continued eating, loving the taste of whatever Vincent had cooked on the plate in front of her. It wasn't long before it was all gone, and Aurora sighed lightly, her first actual full meal in weeks, and it had to be this good, served by the Alpha of a rival pack, and they were being kept prisoner in some sort of testing facility. "Alright, you and Argos are the designated chefs for the duration of our stay here. I'm a decent cook, but I can't make anything this good." Aurora laughed lightly and sipped her drink, smiling over at Vincent. The pair of drugged up lovebirds in the bedroom had apparently worn themselves out during dinner, as the sounds had stopped and their scent seemed to return to normal. Just to be on the safe side, Aurora figured she'd sleep in a different room tonight.

Vincent chuckled, a low, throaty sound. He was glad to have someone else enjoying his cooking. "Well, if I'm going to get a reaction like this every time I do, I'll cook every meal." When his plate was clear, Vince stood and cleared the table, dirty dishes in the sink, leftovers in the fridge. A werewolf never wasted food, and if there was ever leftovers - a rare occasion - they were saved and eaten the next day.

Vince returned to the kitchen, surprised by the quiet. Sometime during dinner - Vincent hadn't noticed exactly when - the two werewolves in the bedroom had finally worn themselves out. "That only took..." Vincent made the motion of checking his watch. "Hours." There were no clocks in the house, no way to keep time save for when the wolves slept. "I'll have to keep notes somewhere." He thought to himself.

The table was clear, dinner dishes put away to be dealt with in the morning, everything done for the evening. Vince ran his fingers through his hair, smiling sheepishly "I think I'm gonna hit the hay. The drugged up sex maniacs seem to have exhausted themselves for the night. Just to be safe though, I think I'll grab one of the rooms upstairs. Good night, Aurora."

Vince turned and headed up the stairs, opened the first door he came to, and stripped off his clothes before falling onto the bed.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2012 7:00 pm

Aurora chuckled at Vincent and said, "You'll have no problem with that. That was the best meal I've had in a long time. Don't tell Argos I said that." She smiled back at him when he said he was going to sleep, nodding and looking to the door that Argos and Ava had disappeared behind. She watched Vincent head up the stairs, her gaze lingering on him before she stretched and stood up. Sighing, she headed for the bedroom next to Argos and Ava's. She sat down on the bed, kicked her shoes off, pulled off her over shirt and pants then laid back, her eyes fluttering closed within a few seconds, today had worn her out.

Aurora awoke to an unfamiliar ceiling, in an unfamiliar room, with an unfamiliar scent around her; yesterday hadn't just been a dream. Sighing, she sat up, running her fingers through her hair and trying to remember how to stand up. Her head was throbbing for some reason, and she slowly got to her feet. Stumbling a bit, Aurora walked out of the bedroom looking like death. She didn't pay any attention to anyone who may have been in the rooms she passed through them like a ghost; a pantless, white-haired, werewolf, ghost. She headed up the stairs and into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her and moving to the shower. Turning it on she removed what little clothing she had on and stepped inside, letting the hot water run over her face and body as she closed the shower door.

Aurora had never been much of a morning person, much to her dismay, as she was always expected to wake up at an ungodly hour of the morning. She found that a quick shower helped wake her up and improve her mood. Nothing really registered to her yet, as she let the water run down her body, reaching over and grabbing a bar of soap. She ran her hands along her frame, her mind recalling what had happened yesterday with Argos and Ava, as well as her time with Vincent. She had actually enjoyed her time with the rival Alpha, and her groggy state of mind caused her to question, just why exactly they were rival packs instead of allies.

Despite falling into a dead sleep the minute his head hit the pillow, Vince was awake early the next morning and felt well rested. The events of the day before came back to him in a rush. Vince sighed, resigned to circumstance, dressed and left his room.

The rest of the house was quiet; Vince could detect no movement downstairs. It's probably early... He tried to move as silently as possible. Tip toeing around a house full of humans is not the same as tip toeing around a house full of werewolves. Vince snagged a few bottles of water from the fridge, and headed out to the Physical Activity area for a run.

When he returned two hours later, breathing hard and coated in a fine sheen of sweat, the shower was already running. Damn. Vince had already removed his shirt, and draped it over his shoulder. He hesitated, trying to decide whether or not he should just sit and wait. Well, it can't hurt to ask...

Vince knocked softly on the door. "Hey, are you almost done in there?" With his pack, he was always the first awake. Each day started with a scribbled note to Clay with his route and ETA, and then back for a shower. Mia was usually awake by the time he returned, but the females had their own bathroom in the house, so a shower was always available when he wanted it.

With any luck, it would be Argos in the shower, and he wouldn't have to wait forever.

{{I was thinking we should wait for Ava and Argos until I'm home and we can talk about what's up for their reactions to "last night". lol. This is just a post to hold you over til then!! *grins*}}

Aurora sighed and continued showering for a while, feeling like taking an extra long one today. The number of times she had a relaxing shower interrupted by a pack member that needed help or needed to use the shower was so high she had lost count years ago. She thought that she would have a better chance of going uninterrupted here; no such luck. The knock on the door and the voice of Vincent on the other side made her sigh. She replied loud enough so he could hear her through the door, "Just finishing up, be out in a minute." She sighed and started washing her hair, with the provided shampoo. Despite her very long hair, this didn't take Aurora too long, as she had a lot of practice. Sighing again, she shut off the shower and stepped out. grabbing a towel and wrapping it around herself and picking up the few clothes she had brought with her. She moved to the door and opened it, growling quietly and saying, "All yours." With a bit of poison behind her words. She didn't like being interrupted, even if she was used to it by now.

Heading back downstairs, Aurora grabbed her clothes on the floor of her room and headed for the laundry room; their captors were nice enough to provide them with that little luxury. Of course, she was none too happy when she passed an open door when heading to the laundry room; there was a second bathroom on the first floor, identical to the one upstairs. Growling quietly, she reminded herself to punch Vincent in the trachea for interrupting her. It was too late to get back in the shower now, so Aurora just went to the laundry room and tossed her clothes in before starting it. She had all dark clothes, so she could do them all at once. She had to wear one of the jumpsuits the humans had provided until they were done, which made her unhappy to say the least.

Heading back out of the laundry room, Aurora fiddled with her soaking wet hair to try and get it to behave, whatever shampoo the humans had given her, she didn't like it very much. She headed into the kitchen and decided to make breakfast with what they had leftover in the fridge from last night. After heating up the food, she settled in the dining room at the table and ate quietly, wondering if Ava and Argos were awake yet, but not wanting to go and check.

Ava had never felt better in her life. She'd just had the best, most relaxing, rejuvenating sleep, and she felt inexplicably great. As Ava worked her way towards full consciousness, her body begged for a stretch.

Happy to comply, Ava had moved a fraction of an inch when she froze, staying completely still - something is different. Ava's eyes snapped open. She was in a strange bed, in a strange room, in a strange house. The facility. Her mind quickly filled in the events of yesterday, as another realization was slowly dawning on her.

I'm not wearing any clothes... Ava was hyper aware of the sheets against her skin. As a werewolf, she was comfortable nude, but she was also as careful as possible not to be naked near the males. Those females in the pack who requested privacy were granted it, and vice versa. Aurora had seen her naked more times than Ava cared to count.

As aware as she was of the sheets on her skin, she was also desperately aware of the arm flung across her chest, and the pair of feet tangled with her own. Ava simply had to breathe deeply through her nose to know who the stray appendages belonged to, even though his scent had changed slightly, combining with her own.

Slowly....carefully....Ava turned her head to the side, her eyes searching his face. "Argos." she breathed.
