Yeah, the good thing about crochet is once you learn how to make basic shapes you could make just about any character.

Wow!

I've tried picking up crochet and it's not going so well...I'm trying to find someone that can help teach me.

I have a book of little animals that I want to make and then take to the children's hospital to give to the kids.

Hard to do when you can't crochet, though.

Mastering the basic move can be tricky, especially if you're not used to working with yarn. YouTube videos work pretty well, if you can't find someone to teach you.

I've always worked with yarn, but my fingers tend to fumble lol

But thanks, I'll check out YouTube.

Do you knit?

Canvas work...like the kleenex boxes, long stitching...I've even made little name tags...I'm working on a book end, but now I'm missing half the pieces...

So nice! I'd love to learn crochet, but I haven't found something for starters in my country. I can only make chains and other basics.

I'd love to learn to knit clothes - I've seen some wonderful pieces. heart
