Pretty much 'entangled' into this whole mess he walked along so he wouldn't be dragged. At this point it was like he accepted his lot in life with Ariane, not like he minded a whole lot now that he'd ... mostly gotten used to it. It didn't take long before they saw action. It was a good and bad thing in general.
Summoning up Yom he moved away from Ariane after Deryk tried to put in an effort. There was a brutal thrust forward with one of the punching daggers and the creature uttered a loud shriek as it stumbled back away a bit. With the creature driven to a corner by Deryk and Jude - but mostly Jude - she swung her weapon in its direction, crushing it under Kintama. As it dissipated, she grinned, "Awesome. One down, a lot more to go~ Do you guys need to fetch anything from your rooms?"

That had ended rather quickly actually. Letting out a breath, Deryk straightened up. He was going to need to be more careful. There was really no telling what was around here now.
"Um. Can't think of anything off the top of my head. Could try working our way towards all our rooms though. Scavenge from there," he nodded while he started to move into the common room. It didn't take long before another of the insanity creatures popped up. It looked sort of like the last one they had encountered.

"There's a couple of books I wouldn't mind grabbing onto and stuff I'd like to make sure didn't get hurt yet," Jude said quietly being a little vague on the whole topic. Not that he had things to hide. Jude just didn't feel like there was any reason to show his sentimental side for all to gawk at just then.
When the new monster popped up Jude stepped in and gave it a nice jab at the shoulder causing an outcry of anger and pain. He gave the blade a short little twist as if to lengthen the amount of pain it was in before he yanked the blade out so someone else could have a turn.

"I know where Judy's room is," She grinned at said hunter before looking at Deryk, "But I do not know where yours is~ What's your room number?" There, saving her the trouble of needing to find out for herself, like she did with Jude's! Hopefully, Deryk was less stubborn about things like privacy.
"Books? What sort of books?" She wriggled her eyebrow at him, "Books and things that can be seen in a shared bunk?"

"Books? Might not be bad idea. Oh. And room 108. Pretty close to front. What you need Ariane?"
The other two had taken out the slow fog creature before he could get in a shot. Well. That wasn't a big deal. He barely was able to take another step before another creature came flitting out at them, zipping around the room.
"Ack!" he cried as he moved out of the way.

Jude rolled his eyes at Ariane's teasing about knowing where his room was. Yeah. Whatever. Ariane was a fantastic sleuth or a nosey wench whichever you prefer. Right now he was favoring the nosey wench option.
He didn't get much time to remark on anything he was thinking because suddenly Deryk let out a cry and he saw why. Jude lunged forward weapon ready to strike the creature down. His hit struck the creature down on the head, but didn't dissipate it. It was still standing and slashing at Jude furiously.
"Augh, a little help!?" Jude cried out. STATS JUDE'S STATSHP: 48/50 DMG: 6 Charge: 3/3 MOB'S STATSHP: 9/15 DMG: 5 [Auto damage] : 2

"You know the hair dyes you gave to me last Christmas?" She looked at Deryk, "I only used one of them-" At this, she gestured at her own hair, sweeping her bangs to one side, "-and the rest, I've kept in my room. I offered to dye Gale's hair for him, but he didn't seem keen." She shrugged; pink would have looked so good on him too!
"Coming~" She went after the creature that was currently being kept preoccupied by the two males, hitting it on its side with one end of her weapon, "I wonder how long it'll take to clear them all out..."

"Oh! Ok. Yeah. Wasn't sure what dyes to get you. Figured to get you all the colors then," Deryk shrugged with a sheepish smile. Though, his attention soon turned back to the grey critter that was darting all around.
Running up to it, he swung with his blade, managing to smack it. Though, it wasn't down just yet. The critter got back up and continued to scurry around rather quickly.
"Not sure. Too long if you ask me. Yes."

After it pegged him one last time Jude shoved blades into the creature's face thus causing it to dissipate. Jude checked his blades and then looked over at the other two, "Yeah, way too long," he agreed quietly.

"Do dyes expire, I wonder?" She mused out loud, watching as Jude delivered the final blow to the creature, "Maybe I should dye my hair a different color after each one fades... Maybe I'll be able to make use of them all that way..." It would also probably cause heavy damage to her hair - which really wasn't worth it, since they didn't have proper hair care and repair products outside of Caelius' room on the island.
"Own room, privacy... It didn't seem like much before but yup. Totally appreciating it now," She sighed wistfully before stopping, noticing the face-down body of a dead hunter in front of them, blocking the corridor. Their weapon tablet was trapped under one hand, and when she poked it with her shoe, it fell apart, crumbling into small pieces. From the pieces, another creature formed - this one much larger than the ones they had previously encountered.
"... Note to self, don't touch any weapon tablets in the future."

Nodding to Jude, Deryk went on to follow Ariane, thinking about the dye question.
"Hmm. Don't think they expire. Could always check labeling. Should say so there. Yes. And o-oh... man..."
The trainee began to stutter as they found the body of a hunter in the hall. That wasn't it. His weapon tablet ended up breaking and unleashing a very big and angry creature upon them.
"Y-yeah. Might be best to not do that... Yikes... AAAAH!"
The creature swooped at him and Deryk managed to avoid a good chunk of its attack. As he moved to the side, he thrusted his blade into it.

Jude frowned at the scene before him though the frown soon turned into an expression of complete and utter disbelief at what he was seeing. He didn't turn tail and flee but he didn't exactly look all too happy for the situation either. After a moment he sprung into action unleashing Yom's charge into the thing as it tore at him to try and get him to back off.
He made a series of quick jabs into the monster, "This was a bit unexpected," Jude grunted a bit.

Seeing how she had been saving her weapon's charged attack, Ariane backed away, putting some distance between herself and the creature blocking their way. Once she was a good distance away, she swung Kintama above her head before tossing the weapon towards the creature; while everything went as planned, the weapon went right through the creature instead of what it was supposed to do... Which caused Ariane to pretty much facepalm as Kintama desummoned and summoned back in her hands.
'At least we know that it's not solid. It's rather hard to tell, from this distance.'

Deryk had decided to attack right after Ariane threw her balls. He charged at the fog creature, aiming to plunge his weapon right into it but like Ariane's weapon, he ended up jumping straight through it instead.
"Eh? DidIhitit? Don't think I did. Damn. Thing isn't very solid is it. Troublesome," he frowned.
Or maybe he was just really bad at this. That could be it too.
