Tsubaki Mizuru Spreader of Despair Tsubaki Mizuru Spreader of Despair Having a hard time, coming up with a currency system, any of you have a good idea? What would we be using the system for? It's going to replace the rewards points system, so that it will be less complicated and what not. Alright, how would one go about making money? Well for the pirates it would be by plundering villages and finding treasures, and for the marines it would be based on how much the bounty of the pirate that they captured, and since they work for the government, they will get paid 100,000 beli a month or something, lol

Raiding/Plundering System
If you are a pirate you will adhere to this raiding system in order to gain beli. Firstly to even attempt raiding a village or town, you will need to be apart of an Pirate Crew or have at least three other people with you, unless your rank is that of an Rear Admiral or Pirate Commander, if you are then you may do this on your own, but a crew may raid the same place more than once but only after at least 5 days past last time they have raided that location.The more members you have, the more treasure you will find.
1. Before you raid an village/town you or if you are in a pirate crew, your captain, must om me or another member of the Guild Crew, to let us know that you are planning to raid a village/town, we will then confirm through pm, once we confirm you may commence with the raid.
3. Then each member of your crew will then make a single post in the village consisting of 2-3 paragraphs(5-10 sentences each) or type 300 words, you may choose which one to do, but both will require a 20 sided die roll depending on the location. You can not raid a kingdom with less than 2 people.
Village/Town in Blues: One 20-sided dice
Kingdom in Blues: Two 20-sided dice
Village/Town in Grandline: Two 20-sided dice
Kingdom in Grandline: One 100-sided dice
3. After each person has met the qualifications, the total die rolls will be added up and multiplied by 1,000 and that will be how much beli your crew found then that total will be divided among the crew evenly and your bounty will go up according to the chart.
This system is from another guild that I am apart of, the captain gave me permission to use it, so tell me what you guys think, or if you wish, you may change it.

Let change it to lets say, 3-4+, 6-8+ sentence long paragraphs each. That sounds more doable to me, what do you think?

It's not really my..place to say anything about this but...Tsubaki, I'll be honest..if people have a hard time writing 300 words and then highlighting it then bringing it to word..that's a little bad..*sweatdrop* besides, if you "put your mind to it" you can write a long post. Even when brain dead I can write like a 600 word post if I try..so 300 isn't that much honestly. Now admittedly the dice thing is a little high..but it can still work, I enjoy the system because it means people who aren't the best at fighting can't plunder/raid a village. :3 No skin off my back (marine character) but anyways, those are just my thoughts/inputs. *shrugs*

The original system had it at 1000 words, and I thought that was way too much, and I didn't want it to just be a few sentences with probably less than 150 words, so I figured that the 300 would be a good enough medium or 250.

And here is a bit of wisdom my grandmother gave me that might be of use to you. "Just because something is easy for you, does not mean it is easy for others." Meaning, do not use yourself as a base to judge others. it is not only unfair and incorrect, it is fairly arrogant and vain.

I'll be honest, if you seriously sit down for 45 minutes to an hour you can type up a 300 word post, it might not be all super awesome and fancy but it will be a nice post, yes? And for it being unfair and incorrect and arrogant and vain, saying I can do a 600 word post is me saying it's not hard to do something if you put your mind to it, I may be "arrogant and vain" but I suppose I just don't understand how it's hard, I may sound like an a** but it's the truth, I really don't understand why people have such a hard time. So I'll attempt to understand it, but I was giving an input of what I thought, so whilst I agree it is a little unfair I never directly stated "If you can't do 300 words they are idiots" I was saying 300 words isn't this huge post, I honestly have seen people that on average post about 2,000 words, it all depends on how much time and energy you spend on your post, if you spend ten minutes on it, it most likely won't be super long. On the other hand if you spend an hour or more it will most likely be a relatively long post, now some people might disagree but seriously, if you SPEND the time, it WILL be good, you just have to use a little brain power. wink

And 300 words? That is a significantly large post. Especially since a sentences average words are anywhere from 5-10 words. 30-60 sentences is pretty big, especially when and average paragraph is like, 5-10 sentences long, leaving your post with 3-30 paragraphs. I'm not gunna debate on this anymore since it's not really going anywhere. My vote is for 3, 5-10 sentence paragraphs per person.

I edited the system so that it is up to the person to choose whether to do the 300 words or the 2-3 paragraphs with 5-10 sentences. Is everyone okay with that?
