Flint winced as the attack landed this time and knew that had to hurt. But still the ice held and Rush remained frozen, though it was cracked in several places and the cracks were beginning to spread

Lizzie would've liked to attack again, but it looked like the ice was starting to give away and Psywater's Safeguard had worn off. Not wanting to lose their edge to paralysis or something, the only thing to do about that was to put it back up.
"Safeguard! And brace yourself!" She said. Psywater brought forth another shimmering veil and prepared himself for an attack.

when the ice started to crack rush began squirming as much as he could and managed to break himself free. he snorted and glared daggers at Psywater. He reared up and took off, charging at the legendary at full speed. Conjuring sparks of electricity as he went

Psywater cried out when the electrified bull slammed into him. Even though he was bracing himself, the attack rammed into his chest and sent a nasty shock through his body. Not waiting for his trainer to give orders, he lashed his tail out at the Tauros, another Rock Smash attack.

Rush stumbled back and shook his head. He wouldn't last much longer at this rate. Flint winced in sympathy as the attack hit, but they couldent give up now. " Rush, use ice beam!" he called. Rush snorted and let loose the attack

Psywater shielded himself from the Ice beam with his wings. Even though the coldness stung a little, it was better than taking another attack to the chest.
"Use Rock Smash again!" Lizzie knew that he knew what to do but she liked giving orders anyway. Instead of striking with his tail this time, Psywater launched himself at the Tauros with astonishing force.

Rush staggered and almost fell but manged to keep on his feet. Flint winced again, Rush wouldn't last much longer... " Rush, use ice beam again!" he called hoping they would get lucky

Psywater blocked the icy attack with his wings again, though this time they went numb from the cold. The battle was taking its toll on him and Lizzie could tell. It was time to end it now.
"Aerial Ace!" Though normally a weaker move, it was a surefire hit and would be enough to knock out the weakened Tauros. Psywater, despite his frozen wings, launched himself into the air and dove at his opponent, swinging his tail at him with lightning speed.

Rush stumbled again but this time was not able to stay upright and toppled over. Flint winced and pulled out his pokeball " you did your best Rush" he said and recalled the exhausted Pokemon. Looking to his opponent he mustered a smile "your pokemon fought really well. hes pretty strong, you should be proud" he said then turned away, hurrying towards the nearest Pokemon center

"Thanks." Lizzie managed to say before Flint rushed away. She figured that the other trainer must've been really concerned about his Pokemon, explaining his rush out of the stadium. Psywater flew closer to Lizzie, demanding a pat on the snout, and she obliged with a sigh.
"Good work." She said and pulled out his Pokeball to recall him. Then she was finally able to leave the stadium herself.
