When I did the Registering for GW2 they asked for my GW1 account name, and it seems that causes it to import the account login info. FAQ mentions that they will add functionality to change it, but it'll frustrate me to no end until then.

I remember when I played WoW I used my old e-mail. I have a new one but Blizzard won't let me change it. Really annoying.

blog with list of available servers for us and uk. if we us peeps are gonna play together; we should plan ahead. let's decide, so i can tell my other buds irl and on facebook where we'll be. i wonder if they will disallow a guild name of Winter is Coming

Currently downloading the beta client.
I'll probably be aiming for Underworld, since that's the one that more or less matches my guild name. It's a EU server, so I don't expect to see any of you there, of course; that'll have to wait until we have a guesting feature available.

Lazarous Currently downloading the beta client. I'll probably be aiming for Underworld, since that's the one that more or less matches my guild name. It's a EU server, so I don't expect to see any of you there, of course; that'll have to wait until we have a guesting feature available. I'm EU as well, so I'll probably see you in Underworld. wink @Graceangel: Just decide which server you'd like, and I'll put it up in the first post for all members to see.

I'm not sure how it works, but as I've understood it, the name.xxxx is mostly for the forums (or possibly as an account name that others can see along with your character name). I figure it should be possible to add people to guilds or friends lists by character name as well.

think.. I'm gonna go with Scavenger's Causeway. :3 But, once i'm in game for sure; i'll repost... just to make certain that's where i'm at. I don't want to waste my free server move.

Now the only thing left is for me to decide which profession... I'm torn between my traditional first choice of Elementalist (I love mages), or Mesmer since it looks amazing and I've fallen in love with the one I have in GW1...
Maybe I'll just go with Elementalist, because in everything but Elder Scrolls, I go for elemental mages. But I'm looking forward to Mesmer eventually... And Ranger, for that matter.

Yilanti Midnight Lazarous Well, the time is now. Log in seems a little iffy atm, though. Anyone manage to get in? I got in, made a human thief, saw my intro screen and bam. Out. xD But it's beta and EVERYONE wants to get in. So I'm wondering if I should wait half an hour or so. I'm on Skype with a couple of guildies. One of them is making a character right now, the rest of us are trying to get in still. I figure we should show our enthusiasm by spamming the servers until they die horribly in flames. Unable to complete operation..... Unable to complete operation... Unable to connect to a login server...
