Well, Cyrodiil was supposed to be a jungle or rainforest. Eh. Skyrim was traditionally ill-described, and looked like a randomly-generated Christmas card, making little pretense at landscape or map control.
Sithorn would say that they were being lazy, if Skyrim was not so loaded with detail and anything but lazy in execution. By ratio, having anything to be true to which isn't a literary account made to look as if it had no credibility to begin with, was closer to Lore at any rate than Oblivion, just shy of the air-tight quality of Morrowind in this respect.

There is Lore somewhere regarding why Cyrodiil does not look like a jungle/rainforest. AH here we go I've found it. From The Many-Headed Talos This little bit of text was written by Michael Kirkbride one of the most known and most active of the writers to interact with the fans on the forums. MK as he is known, role plays as many different characters from the TES Lore, most know him as the RPer behind Vivec.
Granted this part of canon was prolly re-written as the Dev's created the landmass of Cyrodiil "wrong" and to cover the up and "explain" it via lore, this article was written/added.
If you want to get really nit picking, the Imperial's shouldn't be around either, as they did not exist in Lore before Morrowind. In both Arena and Daggerfell, Imperial's as a race did not exist.

OMG! I now know what happens if you use Unrelenting Force on the Huge Dwemer Chandelier. I just love it when little things like this are introduced to a dungeon. Kudo's Beth, kudo's indeed.

Very good finds, arbiter of the ash clans. May you walk on warm sands.
It is points like this which apply directly to Sithorn's perspective on the series. There is much to appreciate, and there is not much less integrity in the tale (as it is going) than there is in the real world (as we know it, historically).
And yes, it was Brilliant.
Sithorn was visiting Blackreach again, loved it very much when first he saw it, imagined that Crimson Nirnroot was tasty.Sneaked badly in the forum. Very high difficulty means hiding for wary Khaaajhiit. You could imagine his surprise, then, when desperate and cornered by many flailing human slaves, he yelled them off of balcony right at that auspicious globe, and thus rolled from the frying pan into the fire- well- hehe- as it were.

Hmm... I bet they either were, at the time, under the impression that the "Imperials" were just all the other races living in the middle and later decided that they were their own race or that they were specifically not making them playable for some other reason. That is interesting all the same though. Makes me wonder why probably the most important race in the series wasn't in the series until the third game. Though I still say Morrowind is the best that I have played. I haven't played the previous three though...

What I think happened is they just took all the "prot-men" the Nibenese tribesman, Nedes and Cyro-Nords and various other tribes and combined those who would join into what we call Imperials today.
"the most important race" Um there is only one important race and that is the Dunmer. wink
Well technically Battlesphire/Redguard of spin-offs so there are only two main games behind Morrowind. You can get Arena and Daggerfell for free, just head to the UESP and check it out.n

Well I have daggerfall, but I no nothing about dos. And you shut your ash-encrusted mouth. If we are really talking about THE most important race, clearly that would be the Altmer. After all, we're more magically talented than everybody else, we taught the Cyrrodils everything they know, and we considerably better looking!

You say "living gods", I hear "hubris-filled crimes against the natural order". You may have had your Tribunal, but we have the Psijics! And for shame! It was Boethia that ate poor Trinnie not Azura! But Trinnie had the biggest stick up his a** anyways, so no real loss. As Ol' Sheo said, "Not popular at parties." And thank you. It is a cosplay of a character I'm mulling over in my head. See, I have a Altmer Greatsword-wielding mage (Two handed, enchanting, and all schools except Conjuration and alchemy), and I have an Imperial Spell-sword Jack of All Trades (light armor, one-handed swords, destruction, restoration, a little illusion, enchant, light material smithing, some sneaking and pickpocketing, some speech). But I think I want to meld them...

"hubris-filled crimes against the natural order"...um let's remember what the Thalmor have done... Oh and the Psijics they don't count they don't take part in the wars of Tamerial.
I know that Boethia ate Trinimac, and thus Malatach was born. I'm saying that Azura is better that the most...in the past revered, even more than Akatosh, of the Altmer gods.

HEY! We don't talk about them. They "T" word is not to be used in polite conversation. They inherited Trinnie's stick. Also, we don't talk about trinnie's stick. You are not a student of the Art of War Magic by the venerable Sun Tz...urin Arctus, are you? The acme of mastery is not to be heralded as a great general and to win all your battles. The acme of mastery is for you to achieve victory without a single arrow being loosed or sword being drawn. To win before war has even been declared, through machinations agents and an invisible hand. The greatest masters fade quickly into obscurity. Who does that sound like I wonder... And if we're talking about Daedra that are worth worshiping, then I would kindly point to the only two Daedra that are in fact popular at parties. Sanguine and Sheogorath, the latter being the life of them! And I don't know, the nine get around. If you read some of the theology books all the races have an Akatosh and a Lorkan and a Kynareth. Now there's a guy who's way better than Azura. Lorkan! My ramble is done.

You can't sweep the Thalmor under the rug, we all know what they have done to shame the name of Mer.
I liked what you did there with Suz Tzu and Zurin Arctus very nice indeed. -bro-fist-
Trinimac, Strong God of the Aldmer Strong god of the early Aldmer, in some places more popular than Auri-El. He was a warrior spirit of the original Elven tribes that led armies against the Men. Boethiah is said to have assumed his shape (in some stories, he even eats Trinimac) so that he could convince a throng of Aldmer to listen to him, which led to their eventual Chimeri conversion. Because of Boethiah's actions, Trinimac is corrupted into the dread Malacath (Altmeri propaganda portrays this as the dangers of Dunmeri influence whilst the Velothi regard the transformation as punishment for attempting to interfere with their exodus).
I have to agree with you that Sheo and San both throw great parties, but my lady Azura is far less likely to eat your intestines while you are partying with her.

They shame us all pretty equally in the eyes of the Mon-keigh cuz the little fetchers don't see the difference between Alt-, Bos-, and Dunmer let alone the difference between the Thalmor and the Altmer at large. And yes, Azura wont eat you, but have you ever tried to hit on a Winged Twilight? Let me tell you, they are NOT responsive.

Well you have the Thalmor and we have Dagth Ur and the Sixth House so we both have demons hiding in the closet as it were. The humans no matter which Mer cause's them problems we are all to blame in their eyes. Maybe the Thalmor have some things right indeed...
Aw see you just have to know what you are doing, I've had some "fun" with a few Winger Twilight's in my time. All you need is some Telvanni Bug Musk, and a whole lot of Sujamma mixed with a little Shein. That get's the "girls" into a more responsive stat. Just watch out for the talons, those tend to hurt and leave scars if one is not versed in the school of Restoration.

Oh sure, pick on the misunderstood outcast hermit. And if we want to talk about getting Daedra drunk and "in the mood", as it were, Aureals get really insecure when drunk... And, how can I put this... "submissive". And the Mazken are fantastic conversation after a few.
