After he picked himself back up and got ready to move again a new tentacle decided to pop from the ground and waved about, 'HA'LO. MY NAME IS INIGO TENTA-COOLIA [JR]. YOU KILL MY FATHA. PREPARE TO DIE.'
...Jude just stared and summoned up his weapon. Bring it.  (FEAR scanner reading: SPIKE)

Tenta-Cool the First suddenly popped up out of nowhere and Jude smacked into that first as it smacked into him causing the young man to let out a loud curse. It seemed as if it didn't have much strength and had been stalking him all along wanting to exact revenge.
The other tentacle waved frantically and then flopped over the fallen tentacle probably having a deep dramatic moment...

Tenta-Cool Jr. turned on Jude and moved to strike him, which it did successfully smacking him right in the midsection and knocking him back before Jude could think to attack.
Jude was not amused.

Jude picked himself up right as the tentacle reached down to smack him making it harder for Jude to get up and so he returned the favor by striking out at the tentacle and hitting it rather firmly against the tender flesh of the side.
That should teach it a lesson. Jude was feeling rather ragged...

The spiked tentacle ripped into Jude once more and it was certain that if Jude had moved any slower it probably would have been a lot worse. He reached in and made another strike against the tentacle. At least the creature was looking worse than he was.

The tentacle swiped at him, Jude took the hit as his punching dagger bit into the fleshy bits of the swiping appendage and there was a loud sad roar and it slipped back under the ice taking the other fallen tentacle with it.
Jude huffed a deep sigh and limped his way back to base. There was no way he could take another hit like that. He only paused a moment or two here and there to eat his rations when he needed to get some nourishment going.
