The floor was still uneven, indeed. It wondered if the Horsemen ever tripped... though probably they didn't. They were too dignified for that.
... Speaking of dignity... it was about time to meet Riley and go get dressed, wasn't it? Malodore turned and hurried out. It would have to explore the rest of the temple area some other time.

Roch headed into the temple more slowly, his hands shoved in his pockets as he looked around for a long moment. He was listening, more than looking, and sure enough he heard the horsemen whispering about the ones that hadn't come back. He scowled slightly, his mind working to fit this problem into the others.

Idly his eyes caught on the walls and he moved closer, examining the tiny, perfect details. This clan really seemed to be big on the tiny details, he thought as he glanced up. Even the ceiling tiles were ornate. He stared at them for a moment before starting to feel dizzy. He had to glance down to get his balance back--
A glint of something shiny caught his eye.

He moved to grab it--only to realize it was light glinting off of the statue in the middle. Oh well, Roch thought as he headed out again. He had things to think about.

Malodore entered the temple again - and nearly tripped over the floor. It was still uneven, unsurprisingly, though it once again had to wonder why. It seemed out of place, almost...

Oh, there was a way up to the second floor. Curious, Malodore ascended, only to see a marvelous sight: walls and walls of scrolls! The knowledge of the Clan, perhaps? Filled with curiosity, it moved forward to look more closely at the scrolls, but a Horseman stepped between it and the nearest wall. Regretfully, the Horseman shook his head and gently redirected Malodore back downstairs.
Bah.
Thus deprived of interesting reading, Malodore left the temple a little bit grumpily.

The temple had seemed like an interesting place to investigate. It was at least one of the places they could explore. After walking around the first floor for a while Mitsu made her way to the second her eyes light up when she saw the rows and rows of scrolls. She didn't understand this culture completely but she knew these were basically books. Perhaps they held more answers to the things she had learned on Death Isle.
Stepping a little closer, a hand reaching for one of the scrolls, Mitsu suddenly found a horseman in her path. She quickly retracted her hand as the horseman shook his head before ushering her back and away from the wall. It made Mitsu's brows furrow wondering why she wasn't allowed to read them.

After a time Mitsu made her way back to the stairs and started to descend. She paused when she heard muttering and looked around for the source. Her ears pivoted to the left and her head quickly followed spotting a pair of horseman together chatting in hushed tones. Despite their distance Mitsu was able to pick up on some of their conversation.
It made her worry to hear talk of an army and who wasn't coming back from the human world? She descended a little more hoping to catch a few more details but the horseman spotted her and went silent both going their separate ways.
Confused Mitsu quickly took the last couple of steps down and headed out of the temple for now hoping to make her way back to the dorm to send a text.

Israfel hissed at Sammy, diving behind a poll, dragging her with. "You will not spoil this." He chirped, looking at Riley. "It is creeping time." He dove being the status of the pony that looked like Invi. He was in creeper mode.

Looking up, Israfel was suddenly distracted by the detail and shiny attribute of the ceiling. So pretty.

Riley started to look up, and the ceiling caught her attention. She stared at the unique tiles along that surface, her eyes thinning in dismay. It never ends..

Along with all the gold and detail lining the walls, something glinted to catch her eye on the floor, but when she looked again, it was gone.

So she kept on with her observation, and kept a keen eye for any stalkers nearby. The ceiling was distracting her heavily, however.

This time, when the glint caught her eye, she followed it much quicker, and bent down to snatch up a token from the floor. She knew there was something there all along..
When she stood up straight, she heard voices not too far behind her. She turned in place, eyeing the pillar before searching the rest of the grounds..
