While he listened to Arel speak, Shun stood by Mitsu. His hand rested upon her shoulder until things had finished. From the sounds of things, the two of them won't be in the same areas seeing how they had chosen different classes. Turning towards her, he had some concern in his eyes.

"Will you be alright?" he asked quietly.

"Herryk will be attending War first, and Death second." He smiled at his friend, shaking his head when Mort asked about Freya.

"No, Freya will not be coming. It is for the best - she is a distraction for Herryk." A beautiful, sweet distraction - one that he could not afford. This was all far too important for everyone involved.

He caught sight of two of his Trial-mates. Zar and JD. Well.. JD wasn't really a trial-mate.. lately he'd been more of a roommate than anything.

"How did the trials go for Mort, hmm?" He had to wonder if everyone had experienced the same thing his group had.

The sound of... Cady yelling? Caught the half beast by surprise. He glanced over and noticed that THE Johnny Danger had her by the shoulder. Well that was a surprise really. How did he forget the demon was at their school? Go figure.

"Hey Cady, you going to the thing or are you staying behind? We should make spookies. c:"

Auri turned her head at the sound of that terrifying ghoul's scream. Wait... is that? JD! Who was that ghoul he was grabbing at? Oh he is going to be in so much trouble!

"YOU!" she huffed as she stomped toward her letch of a brother. "You can't even sit though someone's speech without hitting on anyone!"

She turned to Cady.

"I'm so sorry ma'am. I'll make sure he doesn't try anything," she said with a sideways glance to JD.

Jericho did not show up to the assembly. Not now at least. With his wings showing signs of Insanity, he was wary of going somewhere that would have large amounts of people around. Instead, he stayed home, and just sent out a few texts.

War and Death wasn't surprising, given Herryk's nature, though he was a little surprised that Freya wasn't participating. It was one thing to note that she hadn't tried the Trials, but not signing up for an all new cultural experience? She was missing out! "Well, can tell her stories when come back, yes? Not saw Freya in while too . . ." His thoughts were broken momentarily as he heard a loud shriek and, turning his head, he saw . . . er, what was her name again? Mort had seen her in that weaving thing students had a while back, but he didn't catch the name. She was . . . being touched by some blue skinned guy?

Wait, he looked familiar too, but for a different reason . . . "Errrrr. W-Went mkay til Death. Caught by Hunters, turned to weapon," Mort answered succinctly, surprised and a little bit pleased with himself that he could say as much without feeling ready to collapse and angst. "You?"

"HI BUL! No, I'm going home. Person-nail stuff, you know. But maybe we can make spookies later, right? And you guys can tell me all the really horrible things that might happen when you come back! It'll be GREAT!" Cady smiled hugely. The ghoul was, unfortunately, quite serious. She didn't even seem to get the joke, if there was one.

She then turned to the other ghoul who'd come up to seemingly defend her honor. JD? She knew that name...Jobby Dailor, or something. He was INFAMOUS. "Hitting on me? Oh he didn't hit me, he just grabbed me, which is still pretty rude you know, but it's ok, he is a rock star right and I hear they are allowed to touch hearts and stuff, although my heart isn't in my shoulder last I checked!"

Meanwhile, JD just stared as the ghoul kept going on and on and on- AURI?! As he spun around, he spotted Herryk and Zar in the crowd but... He had more pressing matters at hand.

"AURI, what are you DOING here?! How could dad let you - no. Go home, ok. This is dangerous stuff, you're just a kid. You'll get hurt, trying one of your crazy schemes here. These guys don't ******** around, ok?" JD grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her for emphasis.

"And I was NOT hitting on that ghoul, GEEZ."

Rafael couldn't decide if he was completely excited...or totally overwhelmed. On the bright side, at least he wasn't claustrophobic. If there was one thing his upbringing had done, it was acclimate him to small spaces crowded with other people.

But the other people here were...not what he was accustomed to.

His beady red-black eyes darted from one person to the next, trying to soak in all of the details. His curiosity mixed with massive sensory overload. So many factions! And all of the fancy clothes! And there was a girl over there who was covered in tattoos! And people kept pushing buttons on small devices, and if he craned his neck he could just barely make out letters on the screens. Fascinating!

He barely registered all of the words coming from Arel, he was so busy soaking in all of the details. He got the gist of it, though, but missed the subtext entirely. Truth be told, he only barely understood or cared about the Four Clans. He could have been doing an exchange program with a janitorial service for all he cared. The point was: he was in school! A real public school! With other students! And nobody was related to him!

His extremities downright buzzing with excitement, Rafael wound his way through the auditorium, double-checking the class list for the billionth time. His name was on it, right? He really was getting to do this? He couldn't help but feel like somebody might chuck him out like vermin if they saw him here lounging around in his second-hand clothes.
