That... had actually scared her. Whatever he had attempted to do would have been amazing--and horrifying, she was sure. But--
Izy was laughing his head off. It made her feel guilty, even if it wasn't even her doing it.
"Aleister? Are you okay?" she asked, lowering Izy and ignoring him blatantly. "I'm sure it'll work next time!"

Aleister paused when she asked if he was okay. His face was a little red from embarrassment and the fact that pookie was still yelling very loudly in his head. "Yup, I'm good." He said blinking slightly when she said she was sure it would work next time.
<Jack Damn it'll work next time. If you don't miss like a failure.> Puca muttered indignantly.
Aleister shifted his weight as he sighed at Pookie, <Stop being such an a**. You can scold me later, I can't think when you're yelling like that in my head.> When he was ready he looked at her, "Okay lets keep going. You're doing pretty good." He was still recovering from his embarrassment, and motioned for her to attack him again.

She nodded and assumed her fighting stance again, ready to run--yes, to run. Her style of fighting seemed best for long distance and quick attacks. She could do that! And she did, hitting him straight on.

Aleister watched as she started running towards him he wasn't expecting this. He figured she'd use the bow again. Having been caught off guard there was a "Oof." as wind escaped his lungs, he should've braced for that fear shield or not.
He shifted to follow her body, and Pookie swung and manged to connect with her just barely. "Good Job." He managed when he caught his breath back.

This time Syd didn't look away, she just jumped back, racing away from the other hunter before turning and shooting straight at him. The arrow exploded in a flash of light right in front of his face.
She had figured out how to use it... somewhat.

Aleister watched her run off, getting pookie ready for another attack. Suddenly there was that flash again. He shook his head, and watched spots floating in his vision. UGH. Okay no matter, he ran forward and swung puca at her, feeling the blitzball connect.

He didn't know why he could hit better when he had trouble seeing either. It was baffling. He felt Pooka make contact again. <I'll try not to miss this time.> He ninja'd the puca.

Aleister ran towards Syd again, Puca was glowing brightly as he swung the blitzball at Syd. When he passed her he slid to a stop.
<That's better.>
Of course the second that Puca said that Aleister stopped and de-summoned the weapon and ran back to her, "Ohh... shiii.... I'm sorry Syd are you okay?" He knew that was probably a bad hit. He looked nervous too, hoping she wasn't mad at him for that.

Her FEAR shield shattered. It was an unnerving sensation, and the lack of a weapon in her hand made her hand go up, touching the choker around her neck with a hint of panic. "Oh, um, I'm fine," she said, although she felt rather shaky. "But, um, I wouldn't mind a hand getting back to the dorms," she admitted, flushing slightly.
"That's very... it's a very unique sensation," she said quietly. "I feel... naked."

Aleister nodded, "Yeah sure. Want me to help you to your room?"
He was frowning, "You can walk right?" He didn't want to ask dumb questions but at the same time he didn't want to assume anything either. He would do whatever was needed to help her back to her dorm. He was biting his lower lip, seriously he'd never experienced a broken fear shield so it was worrying him. He didn't even have bandages on him. Harrison, he could find Harrison if he had too!
"I can find someone with bandages if you want." He nodded.

"I'm fine," she said. "I'm just a bit disoriented, that's all." She took his arm, whether he offered it or not, and leaned against him slightly as she started to walk. "That was a very good spar, I think," she said. "Thank you for inviting me!"
