After donut-napping two more of the delicious pastries, Sasha started nibbling on one as she watched Robert drag Jerry off the field. She stopped watching when she caught sight of Wash - an unfamiliar face. She'd have to rectify that. Maybe she should text Clerise first. ILU 5 EVR Come down 2 the training field. Donuts. biggrin <3 Smoothing down the front of her dress (and getting powdered sugar all over herself in the process), Sasha made her approach. "Hi, I'm Sasha. We've not yet met," she chirped brightly, all powdered-sugar smiles. "Do you.. Do you want a donut?" Rummaging around in her pocket she carefully produced one slightly-damaged morsel of delicious. "Here, you can h-have this one."

Jude reached forward and shook the hand offered, "Jude," he said simply and nodded a little, "nice to meet you, umm...Wash."
...Was he visualizing the man before him as a washcloth? Probably. Literal brain is at times very literal.
He gave Sasha small wave as she acknowledged him but right now he was dealing with Mr. Wash.

“I did!” Molly nodded her head firmly. “Oh, sure thing!” Gosh, Jerry’s excitement was just fueling her own, and it was pretty high to begin with. “Sure! I’d love to help out as well!” She beamed back at him as he patted her shoulder, and then there seemed to be an influx of people. She giggled as she fist bumped with Sasha and then waved to Jude, still beaming. Then Robert appeared with doughnuts and she couldn’t help but get one for herself. “Thank you so much, Awesome!” Did she…yeah. That was apparently Robert’s name now.
Oh, someone new! Molly turned to Wash as well. “Hello there! It’s really nice to meet you! My name is Molly! How are you today? Did you eat breakfast?”
Wait.
“DID ALL OF YOU EAT BREAKFAST!?” She cried.
Excitement…yeah….at least there were donuts there.

... It was inevitable.
Robert felt Jerry slam into him and just sighed, patting the man awkwardly on the back and waiting for him to get all his hugs out. "You're welcome. You needed your guitar. And I needed you.. to be.. you know. Sane. So.. yeah. Let's go ********' sing some songs or something god why can't I just die now."
He let out a surprising bellow of laughter despite the desperate anguish of his voice a moment before, and peeled Jerry off of him before turning him around and setting him free. "Off you get, Cosmo."

"I ate...a bit of an apple for breakfast, does that count?" He asked toward Molly blinking a little. Here lately he wasn't exactly keeping a good eye on his diet.
Eat regular food? What does that mean. Pssh. Full meals? HAH!

Jerry sniffed, blotting at his eyes under his glasses as he hefted up his guitar to hug instead, his hands trembling as he touched the new strings. What... on earth had Robert done to it? It barely needed tuning. He gave it an experimental strum. It sounded... marvelous. "S-sane. Sane. Right. Ahahahhaha. Thank you again so much you have no idea how much it means to me right now I really really needed this oh my god, Robert, I just..." But he was already pushed forth.
He had Auditions to run.
STRUMMA STRUM.
"Right. TO BUSINESS!" And, cackling, he practically ran back towards the growing crowd.

He gripped the other man's hand in a friendly manner then let it fall, shoving it into his pocket. He was surprised by the turnout - but he guessed everyone cooped up on the island was looking for an outlet, and why not something a nice and peaceful as music?
Wash then took the donut gratefully from Sasha, smiling in thanks before immediately taking a bite. He swallowed before responding to Molly with a halfhearted shrug. "No, probably not. But it's all vending machine food anyway so what's the difference? Can we even really starve?"
He knew there had definitely been days where he simply forgot to eat at all. Fatalistic much? Maybe.

He had seen posters around. They were terrible and hurt his eyes.
But they promised donuts.
Somehow this fact pursued him wherever he went on the island, especially after the little gift of the ******** things Robert had left on his doorstep. It didn't help that his initial stash of chocolate he'd brought with him was now but a distant memory and he was on a sugar withdrawal.
<< You live on fear okay, I live on ******** sugar. Sugar and alcohol. They could ******** rig it up to my veins and I'd be happy. >>
< ...*sigh* If it makes you stop moping at me then fine >
<< I was only ******** moping at you because you ruined a perfectly good night out for me >>
The angel didn't reply.
In any event for whatever reason, he showed up at the gathering and tried to sidle in unnoticed, which may have worked thanks to his height, if he wasn't violently redhaired and generally impossible to miss.
He made a beeline for Sasha and the donuts as soon as he noticed them.
"I want however many we are allowed"

Sasha had crowned herself Princess Protector of Donuts - except from herself because quite honestly there were four or five of them wrapped in tissue and shoved into the pockets of her jacket.
For later.
"Oh, Rep!" She gave him a half-stern, half-nervous look. "Okay, w-well." She cleared her throat, reached into her pocket and with a whisper said, "Hide these ones," before giving him two of the tissue-wrapped donuts from her own secret stash.
"You can have two," she deigned in a louder voice, giving Rep a wibbly smile. Maybe four donuts would improve his disposition. Sasha could only hope.

The cacophony of chords announced Jerry's re-arrival before he appeared behind the table, positively sparkle-eyed as he tore through the strings and frets. Whatever Robert had replaced the broken strings with was amazing and durable and hopefully would hold up the Sun-Hunter's enthusiasm. "RIGHT! RIGHT! ARE YOU ALL READY??" Strumma-strumma-strum-strumma-strum. He certainly was.
He probably should wait to begin official auditions for other people to show up. That didn't mean he couldn't *warm up* first. It had been so long, so so long, since he'd be able to do this. It was as though a missing piece of him had returned with a vengeance and light and rainbows.
"AH EVEN REP!! You touch one of those donuts, you're officially one of us and cannot escape, by the way." Strum-du-dum-dum....

It was amazing how effective a bit of bribery was on Rep, and he felt like he was dealing again as he was handed the tissue wrapped donuts. He almost wanted to suggest cling-film worked better but resisted, not looking a gift horse in the mouth and squirreling them away in the recesses of his own jacket. Which took some effort with it still tied around his waist.
Only then did he collect his "official" donuts with a haughty air.
He froze dead as Jerry spoke up, looking at the donuts he was holding, and in an almost childlike gesture of possessiveness, held them behind his back. If they couldn't be seen, clearly they didn't exist.
"That's ******** coercion."

What kind of a girl would she be if she turned the whirligirl and her donuts down? She made her way down to the training fields, not realizing what she was in store for.
Somehow, she didn't draw the connection between posters and reality.
She bounded up to the group, clapping Rep heartily on the back before sliding her arm around Sasha's waist with a giant grin.
"I heard there were sweet things, whirligirl." Clerise sounded so excited. She loved donuts.

"Oooh, Clerise!" Sasha beamed at her friend, clapping her hands softly while bouncing on her feet. "Yes! We have donuts. It's ah.. it's choir-slash-music tryouts!" Her brows knit as she nabbed two donuts for Clerise, placing them carefully on a piece of paper towel before handing them to the other woman.
"Jerry and I have worked hard on this, Clerise," Sasha said quite seriously, giving the redhead an earnest look. "You'll stay, won't you?"

Molly just leveled a very concerned motherly look at Jude and Wash. She didn’t look impressed, and she most certainly didn’t approve. They need to eat more, obviously.
“Hi Rep! Hi Clerise!” She greeted the new comers, and then looked just delighted upon seeing Jerry with his guitar. “Oh! You got it back!” She cried happily. Oooh…he was playing it! Maybe she should get her fiddle out too! Molly set the case on the corner of the table and pulled out her instrument and bow. She got into a ready position and looked to Jerry excitedly, waiting.

Syd flushed slightly as she walked out on the field. She wanted to show her support, but--but--well, Izy was still giving her a hard time about her singing in the shower the other day, and she REALLY didn't want the rest of the world to know--
Except showers are sort of shared, so she was pretty sure many people had heard her off-key rendition (complete with shower dancing) of Moves Like Jagger. But that was Izy's fault, too, she assured herself. It had been his favorite song to troll her with lately.
Izy complained.
At least my dancing was passable?
