"From what I've seen, they're fine." Riyo nodded quietly, rubbing her temples in a futile effort to take her mind off what happened. She still hadn't quite coped with it. "I can't tell you-" The feline began, knowing full well that this could end up some stupid sappy speech. "-that everything is going to be okay after all that. Or that you'll be okay, because frankly, I'm not okay either."
That much was obvious from the state of her room. "But... I think the path of destruction opens the door of change. While we might not be the same... As we were before that dream, the change might be something we need in order to progress with ourselves. Like... A kind metamorphosis, and I suppose its up to you whether its good change or bad change." The feline still couldn't decide.

It was a odd feeling, to be lectured by someone that was technically younger then she was. Or at the very least, she was a younger grade. And yet here Riyo was, speaking with all the wisdom of someone that was twice her age.
Even so, what she was being told, was not a new concept.
"I know..." Astra said, one hand placed on her own arm in a uncomfortable gesture as she looked away. "this isn't the first time I have faced destruction, as you say. Nor am I unfamiliar with the concept of change. You may not believe it, but I have gone through change before, both physical and mental." Her face saddened, her mind traveling past her current misfortunes and onto previous events.
Sighing, she returned her gaze back to Riyo. "You can't stay the same after this. If you do, You wont be able to survive."

"Well then, I guess all that's left for you to do is sulk, huh?" Riyo sighed in an unimpressed fashion. "Or soul searching, or whatever it is you plan to do." 'I know' was never a response the feline particularly cared for, especially considering her desire to impress people with her knowledge, but there was honestly no reason for her to really grouch at the ghoul. Right now, it just wouldn't be worth it.
Groaning, the feline got up on her feet, lazily stumbling towards her fridge. And what kind of food did she retrieve? A can of sardines, of course. It was... A little gross. it seemed, however, that Riyo was more interested in fast food she didn't have to think about. Because to think meant that she was probably biting off more than she could chew... Like with the tea!
"So any particular reason you're out and about with your furry little friend?" The feline asked as she opened the can, plucking one of the small fishes and tossing it down effortlessly. She seemed to like the taste.

"Hmph" Yup, that was Astra's intellectual comeback. She folded her arms and tried not to look annoyed. It was funny how one minute she felt utterly helpless, then the next she was annoyed at the feline ghouls 'mightier then you' tone of voice. Or maybe she was just a know it all.
She then watched Riyo go and fetch herself a can of sardines. While it did look gross, it didn't seem odd for her to be eating them, considering she was a cat.
"I'm just...walking about" She said to Riyo's question. "I can't hide in my room forever. And then more I go out, the better I feel"

"Well, technically you could hide in your room forever. It wouldn't be good for you, but most certainly it is possible." The feline pointed out, devouring another salty little fish before approaching the fairy again.
"Ugh.These don't go well with the tea." Which hadn't really been tea at all. So... It made sense. In fact, upon closer inspection, the sardines themselves didn't... Look all that great.
Were they expired?
How was she not noticing all this?
"Hungry?" Riyo asked as she offered the can to the fairy. Oh Jack they smelled awful. "I've also got some leftover tea." Don't drink the tea, Astra.

Okay, so she could stay in her room forever. But why would she do that? If she did, she'd never be able to go outside again, never got to go anywhere, and more importantly, wouldn't be able to see Yuki. Well, not as much as she would like to.
Astra let the comment go, however. She didn't have the energy to argue with Riyo. Instead she continued to watch Riyo eat the sardines, her antenna twitching when she said they didn't taste good. That was odd...
She leaned over to take a better look. They...they really didn't look to good. As if they had been sitting on a table for over a week. Why was she trying to eat them?!
And then, Riyo just had to offer her some. As soon as the fairy leaned closer, the smell hit her, and she went rigid. For a few moments she just stood there, eyes wide and glazed over, before she literally fell backwards in a dead faint.
Yup, you just knocked out a fairy by smell alone.
