AlouraLavicusCrimson

40/5040/5040/50

{ -7 Attacking: Typhlosion }

{ Tonics: 3x  }

Team Snow Hushed was among the last of the guild members to ascend the flight of stairs. They had started behind the general body of the guild to begin with and Aloura's injured hind leg didn't exactly make the going any easier. It wasn't as bad as it had seemed originally and held her weight enough to get by on, but she wouldn't be doing any excessively swift dodging any time soon. Not an asset in a battle where that could cost her her life, but what was she to do? She wasn't going to turn tail and flee, it simply wasn't an option.

In spite of the rather unfortunate nature of the teams slow accent of the second flight of steps, it turned out to be a rather fortunate situation: Upon reaching the second landing, they were permitted a glance into the next chamber. Contrary to it's solemnly unadorned predecessor, the room was a sun burst of colors. Three colors to be precise: red, blue, and green. Further more, it was constructed, apparently, of nothing but glass stained in almost painfully brilliant shades of the three aforementioned colors. Stepping inside would be akin to stepping into a hollowed Easter egg's shell, what with the destructive fighting that tailed the guild like a shadow. At least one would think so. In reality, the room of 'glass' seemed to be holding up to that very fighting quite well. It was hardly surprising, really, that by the time the absol and seviper reached the top of the stairs the guild had already managed to engage in battle. As per the typical
agenda, they were spared no time for idle thoughts (such as the how they had not sighted this from the towers exterior, or what the actual composition of the colorful material was) the weary team had to simply jump straight into the battle. This was not quite as easy as it sounds- they could hardly see their enemies for the sheer speed at which they were moving. It took them a moment to even realize there was more than one. The significance of the three colors and their accompanying pokemon was lost on Aloura, who generally lacked what most would consider common knowledge, but Lavicus picked up on it quickly enough. His thoughts were somewhere on the boundary between unvoiced sarcasm and dread as the thought clicked:  Three deadly base element pokemon all at once. How novel.

While the seviper surveyed the room through his one good eye and the dull throb of a headache, Aloura looked on with blatant dismay at the figures blurred with speed. "How are we to proceed?" she asked, sounding a bit lost. "Attack the typhlosion. The fire pokemon." the serpent responded promptly, accustomed as he was to providing his leader instruction. He'd contemplated the question himself, and the large fire wielding pokemon seemed the most likely target. It had seemed to have been slowed slightly by guild pokemon attacks at least for the moment. Speed was not something either her or Aloura possessed currently, so targeting the slowest would be their surest bet.

With a wordless command to follow, Lavicus slid into the glass shell of a room, his dark green scales rasping against the smooth stone haunting whispers and his leader following close behind. The second they entered the room, the relative calm they had he achieved for a scant few moments disapperated like early morning fog under a harsh summer sun. Dodging and sidestepping, ducking and swerving it was all try could do for a moment to keep from being hit. It was only by luck and their lateness that they weren't struck with the sweeping hydrobeam that hosed down the guilds.

Eventually, once they found the rhythm of the battle, they were able to start leading the dance instead of letting them selves be led, if only to a minuscule degree. Chipping in his two cents, Lavicus struck out in a swift, well practiced lunge as a red, blue, and pale cream figure darted past. He clamped down his jaws in a hasty Bite, making no attempts to cling on to his victim. Combined with his aim leased by the currently non functioning of his right eye, and the speed of his target, he couldn't be sure if his attack landed. It had been so quick that he couldn't even tell weather or not his fangs had sunken into flesh.

Aloura was in no shape to even attempt a bite. Instead, she bid her time, shadowing Lavicus as closely as she could while she slowly built up her impending attack. She could feel the odd sensation as wind began to swell her chest, expanding her frame as if she had taken a deep breath and held it. It was not long before it began to swirl gently inside of her, first tentative but building quickly. It increased in volume bit by bit and by the time it felt like tiny dagger pricks were assaulting her from the inside, she could hold it no longer. Her blue eyes locking on their target, she struck a wide, solid stance and released a deadly gust of Razor Wind at their foe.

(Life hates me. tl;dr- Holy and Mirror take double damage for not specifying which enemy they attacked. If you did it was not made clear and as such you do no damage.
Please specify who you are attacking and for the love of god read the first post.

First dice is damage done to all of you. Ignore the second it is for later.)

(215//300)

These Elite share a HEALTH COUNT. It is 300.
Unfortunately it switches between who you can attack for damage and who you can't.
You may attack only one per post, but you will be given a hint as to which one is the one you must target to cut their health down!

Each time you attack you are at risk of being hit by a status affect! For the battle here you have three 10-side dice.
First is attack.
-Amount rolled = Damage you do to the enemy.

Second is your dodge.
-Evens : You dodge.
-Odds : You get hit.

Third is whether or not you get hit with a status effect.
1-3 is a hit. You fall to whichever status effect the Pokemon attacking you has listed above its sprite.
4-10 you're fine.

Once hit with a status effect you must apply it to a SINGLE Pokemon. It doesn't hit all of your Pokemon. Just one.
Any pokemon afflicted with a Status effect takes 3 damage when you post, including the post they receive the effect in.
Status effects last 3 posts for a total of 9 damage.

Each Pokemon may have only a single status effect, but you can have multiple pokemon with effects on them at the same time.
If you're unlucky, your team might be collectively burnt, poisoned and frozen!
If you have less than three pokemon and all of them end up with status effects, they're immune to any further status effects entirely until the current ones wear off.

(Yes, I know being frozen in the games doesn't do damage, but here it does to keep to the theme.)

Next Hint: I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow.

Victor - Harumi - Aiden - Doku - Maxi
43/50 - 43/50 - 43/50 - 43/50 - 43/50

Victor spun on his heel behind the Grass Elite after his first attack, striking a pose indicating he was ready to dash right back with another attack for the large Sceptile to endure. "I'd say we're ready for round two," The Scyther muttered before dashing forward, his wings buzzing behind him to add an extra speed boost as he swung an X-Scissor attack at the Sceptile. As the Scyther sped forward, he felt something on his shoulder. Looking behind him, he saw a smirking Toxicroak, his hand upon Victor's shoulder. The Toxicroak had pure venom slicked on his feet and was sliding across the floor like a skier behind a boat. A Toxicroak skiing behind a Scyther. Giant Squid and Mega-Shark, eat your heart out. As the duo approached the large Sceptile, Maxi let go, sliding forward with a nice amount of speed and swinging a Poison Jab attack while Victor attacked at the same time. The result was a poisonous X-Scissor.

"Thanks, Skye!" Harumi exclaimed as she attacked, her sister's Helping Hand giving her the confidence boost she needed to make her attack nice and effective. The young Eevee wasn't done yet, though. "One more time!" She exclaimed, using another Quick Attack to get in and attack the Sceptile again. "Just let me know when you need some help, Skye! Hehe~" The Eevee teased before Biting the Sceptile's leg.

Doku turned his attention away from his hanging grandfather back to the battle, scowling. He glanced over to his mate, blinking. "We may not be able to do much, but let's help our children!" The Leafeon said before he charged in, ready to fight. Though it would do next to nothing, the father Pokemon let loose a Razor Leaf attack at the Sceptile. If anything, it could possibly draw its attention away from his daughters and keep them safe a few seconds longer.

Having been slowed down considerably by the Geodude swarm and subsequent exploding Rhyperior, the team didn't actually reach the next room until well after the others had. In fact, they reached it just in time for a massive Hydro Pump attack to catch them as they were entering the room. Not quite having moved away from the doorway, the three of them were knocked back through said doorway and down the stairs again. Recovering from minor bruises all over his body, Chuck was the last to get back up. "Perfect timing, guys. Now can we actually watch our step before we head in?"

They reached the doorway again, and when the poisoned leaves hit them they at least weren't shoved back out the door. Oliver's aura shield and Imiti's barrier were both able to weather the assault; Chuck's shield of flames wasn't quite as effective. A leaf cut into his shoulder, spreading its poison quite quickly. Imiti noticed, as he tended to, and summoned one of the tonics out of his pack. "Here, take this. Oliver, would you please return fire!" He sent a stream of snow in the Sceptile's direction; Oliver followed with a ball of ice.

Skye & Zori
-37/50- -Invincibility Stone-

Soaked to the bone, and a little weary, Skye somehow managed to draw on her sister's confidence. Without complaint, she rushed to join her younger sibling as they switched targets to the powerful Sceptile that darted through the crowd. His attacks were swift, but he seemed to take little notice of the pair of tiny Eevee that ran about underfoot. She had to find a way of keeping up with the Sceptile. She had some attacks that were quite strong, but they'd do little good if she missed the Sceptile entirely; or worse, hit someone else by accident. Her concerns, she felt, were especially valid considering the strength of the technique she had in mind.

She felt heat beginning to build in her chest, the sensation both burning and unfamiliar. She didn't quite know what to make of it, at first, and considered resorting to a safer tactic. No, there wouldn't be much point. She had to learn how to control it eventually, and she didn't want to be left without any knowledge of the abilities she'd absorbed. Technical Machines, her mother called them, or TMs for short. They could be anything, but within them they carried the ability to pass on the knowledge of another. She hadn't really understood it, when she was younger, but she was glad to have taken that advantage now. The fiery pressure building within was beginning to flare, and she realized that her inexperience would make restraining such energy a little more dangerous than it should be.

An instinctive Quick Attack carried her forward, moving behind Harumi and using the sleek dark form ahead of her as a guide to focus on. She could mirror Haru's movements, and not have to keep up with the Sceptile's as well. As Harumi mainly close-range abilities, she'd guide them straight in close to the Grass-type. Her suspicions were correct, and she might have smirked had the circumstances been better. "The grand and psychic Harumi knows all, she'll figure it out!" Skye managed to tease back, the words spitting through gritted teeth as she continued to try and keep control of the Fire Blast that she was holding onto. She had to focus!

She twisted around Harumi, diving in just as her sister veered away from their much larger opponent. She spread her jaws, unleashing a sheet of flames that quickly engulfed the Sceptile's leg and ankles, the heat of it singing the tips of her thick fur, and marring violet to black. She couldn't stop the torrent of heat that spread quickly around her, threatening to sweep her into the very inferno that she had cast. Without hesitation, she stepped back, twisting and escaping through a gap in the flames. The surrounding air was icy in comparison, though she had to fight to quell the heat that still burned within.

The Eevee's eyes were bright with adrenaline and excitement. She'd never felt anything quite like that from her other attacks, and it was utterly exhilerating. Her paws dark with charcoal, she rejoined her sister, ears pressed flat to her skull as she struggled to regain the sense of clarity that had begun to slip from her senses.

A rush of black and white slipped past them, and she immediately recognized the scents of her parents through the thick stench of blood that coated their forms. As quickly as they'd come, they were gone, leaving Skye straining to catch sight of them through the crowd. She sprinted, trying to put some space between her and the Sceptile she'd just attacked. The Quick Attack had worn off quickly, but she was still rather agile for someone without formal training. She'd run into the other again, she just had to keep moving.

- - - - -

Zori nodded in agreement, her long sleek legs carrying her just ahead of her mate as she ducked and swerved around their allies and enemies alike. She could see their daughters fighting in unison, though she quickly lost them in the crowd. She hadn't the time to keep track of them, as much as it pained her to admit it. The Sceptile darted in front of them, abruptly cutting off their path as it charged through to escape the stream of attackers that trailed along behind it. Zori quickly joined them, dropping back to stay near the far edge of the group. They filed forward, attacking as they reached the front, and dropping back again. It was a technique that was simple and porrly-thought out; she tired of it quickly.

Cutting the corner as the Sceptile moved to change directions, she caught up with it, immediately drawing a stream of toxins into her mouth. With one swift movement she latched onto the Grass-type's leg, digging a Poison Fang deep into its ankle. She was kicked free a moment later, the golden shield of the pendant just barely catching the force of the hit as she was tossed backward, tumbling over one of their allies. She quickly separated from them, spitting a weak Dark Pulse square into the back of the Sceptile's shoulders. He retreated back into he crowd again, leaving the Leafeon to try and chase after him.

User Image Finian was focusing far too much attention on his combined enemies' attacks to realize how his environment was acting against him. The first sign of this very trouble was a loss in his footing. Bobbling and weaving out of Razor Leaves, Flamethrowers, and Hydro Pumps was enough to keep anyone in constant motion. This tactic however was becoming more and more troublesome as each mentioned Water type attack added to the creation of slick, glass floors. His first trip up went unnoticed and not worth concern. The second, however, was filled with regret as, with a sickening skidding noise of claws scraping on metal and glass, Finian was taken from his feet, frivolously attempting to regain his stance, an act that only ended with him tumbling head over heels hard into the nearest wall. The only thing he was gracious for was that lone structure that remained ever so unforgivably hard and stagnant as to stop him in his tracks. As he staggered back to his quadruped set of feet, he felt like he was going to be sick. Such a collision probably caused a concussion. The Absol blinked a few times seeing stars amongst reality. The light refracting off of the colored walls and flooring only added to his nausea. Thankfully it wasn't long before something else worthwhile came into his view. Speeding by seemingly unaffected by the slick conditions like he himself was, was a lone Sceptile, otherwise preoccupied by the masses accumulated by the guilds to finish off an injured Absol. Rejuvenated by the heat of battle and such an opportunity in front of him, Finian quickly formed a Blizzard attack. His timing wasn't the best however, at least in terms of how much he had. Normally, if capable, he let himself put much more into a maneuver like this, however, considering his own condition and the rate at which the enemy was speeding away from him, a Blizzard, more comparable to a light dusting of snow, was better than anything. The frigid airs formed around his body in this moment only succeeded in making the ground at his feet even more slippery than before; frozen puddles dotted his immediate area as the few icy chunks he summoned seemed to hit its target at least. Finian dared not move just get; this moment free of fire seemed best to catch his breath, compose himself, and make sure he wasn't on the verge of keeling over. He sought out the wall at his side to see if he was bleeding at all from where he hit his head or not. Granted, picking one of the red panels of glass to check his reflection in probably wasn't the best choice for this.

Era & Ethfael & Erinn & Riley & Celus & Avaria & Eon & Irilyss
16/50 ~ 16/50 ~ 16/50 ~ 16/50 ~ 16/50 ~ 16/50 ~ 16/50 ~ 16/50

All over-attacks were coming from all over! Every time you blinked you were in danger of being killed by a sudden attack that came from even that very split second. Era looked all over the battlefield, ears pressed tightly back against her forehead in fright. This lot was more than any of them had anticipated, and more than she knew how to handle at one time. Even the best could only manage so much before they were bested, and she certainly wouldn't call her Team the best. It was obvious though that the Guilds were slowing down. Sure they were giving their best effort to the cause, but that didn't make the enormous amounts of damage they were being dealt any less devastaing. The soft-hearted Pikachu looked around at her Guildmates with wary eyes, taking note of all the wounded and ailing of the group: what she noticed was far from promising. All of them had wounds of some sort, burn marks or gaping wounds, and many were soaking wet from the Hydro Pump that had struck them upon their entry into this room. The blood that was being spilled dappled the stained glass and made the predominant color red, dispite the tricolor pattern. The little details were so noticeable to her now-was this always the way it was when you feared that you were near your last moments? Her heart pulsed rapidly within her chest, and her blood boiled with energy as she did her best to stay two steps ahead of the veritable whirlwind of attacks. Fire to her left, water to her right, and cutting leaves underneath, she hovered above the ground, wings cutting sharply through the air to keep her aloft. At her throat, her Volt Globe shimmered brilliant gold and caught the necklace that rested atop her heart, shining iridescent in the light.

"Era, here!" the Gardevoir's voice was surprisingly sharp, in contrast to her usual soft and smooth tones, and caused the Pikachu to turn immediately. The Psychic was nearby, fending off attacks with small barriers when they came too close, but the expression on her face was very grave as she looked up at her Leader. "Era, I need to-look out!" Irilyss' eyes widened in shock and the Electric Type turned back, only to be pelted with an unexpected Razor Leaf attack from out of nowhere. The attack upset her flight, but she managed to straighten out enough to glide over to her Teammate and light on the other Pokemon's head, looking frightened out of her mind. The Gardevoir's eyes were also wide with shock, but she recovered more quickly than her captain and quickly spoke up again, this time shielding them both. "Era I need to-I need you to-there's something I have to tell you." Through her detatched phrases, the Psychic sent attacks bouncing harmlessly away from them, but with each one it grew harder for her to recover. Irilyss could fight, but she wasn't made to sustain heavy-duty damage; it wore down her energy which wore down her Psychic, which was growing more and more difficult and necessary by the moment. "Listen, I need you to hear this," her voice was pained and Era could feel the emotion radiating from the Gardevoir. Amidst all the chaos there was quiet within the Pikachu, she could tune it out if she had to. It was for the sake of her friend's peace-for that she would do anything.

"Tell me."

~~~~~~~~~~
"Over here!" Eon pulled Avaria to the side as a Flamethrower blasted past the area where they'd been standing mere moments ago. They both hit the ground from the impact, jarring them slightly, but it was far better than being scorched to death by a raging Typhlosion. "These things are determined to be the death of us," the Pikachu panted as he raised himself to his paws again, giving the Shaymin a hand as well. "Eridanus certainly knows how to make us hurt."
The Shaymin shook her head, eyes dark with displeasure. "Eridanus knows how to kill us all," she said coldly, "He's biding his time until he feels like going through with the act is all. He wants us to pay for what he sees as crimes against him and so he's making our deaths as painful and agonizing as possible." Avaria's expression was filled with a proud disdain that Eon had never seen her wear before, and it was unsettling to the Electric Type to say the least. The Legendary looked over at her companion for a long moment before adding to her comment. "But you knew that from the beginning didn't you? You knew that we'd all likely die here. Why do you have to be here? Such a well-mannered Pokemon as yourself-you still have a life to be living back home. You don't deserve a fate like this." She looked into Eon's eyes, understanding his motivation but not wanting to see the confirmation of it in his eyes. She harkened back to Celus' comment before they'd come and it saddened her: the Shaymin agreed with him now more than ever. This was what the price was for getting close to such vulnerable Pokemon-she had to watch them suffer for it. Eon too understood that she didn't need an answer, and simply averted his eyes from hers without saying a word as they two stood there for a moment in silence.
"Eon, Celus!" the call brought them both out of their thoughts and back to the battle, turning to view Celus some way away from them. "A little help please?" They hurried over to find the Ivysaur struggling with a squirming Erinn who thrashed under his paw, shouting incoherently. "I don't know what got into him," he grunted, pushing down as the Bug Type fought harder against him, "He's been saying something about the fire but I can't make heads or tails out of it." The other two pushed in alongside their Teammate and helped pin him down as the Paras continued to protest. Another Hydro Pump crashed into them all, sending all of them flying back against the wall but Celus. As Eon and Avaria picked themselves up, wincing at the newly-forming bruises, Erinn subsided into tears and lay on the ground in agony. The three who kept their senses simply resigned themselves to the Paras and exchanged glances, constantly wary for the next attack.
~~~~~~~~~~

Ethfael reared up and released a Flamethrower into the the air over the heads of the rest of the Guild his entire body filling with the blazing sensation that filled his maw when the fire touched upon it. His attack met its mark, the green blur of the Sceptile, and he allowed the barest hint of a smile to touch across his face. It was hardly the time for such things, but even a small victory was a good one when the situation was like this. The Dragonair lowered himself back to a more normal height and looked about the area quickly, trying to block out the light and refraction that was everywhere around him which made it hard to concentrate on any one thing. He could see the other members of his Team at various places about the hall as well as all the other Teams, but the three Elite present were much harder to locate. They moved so swiftly that he could scarcely find their blurs amidst their surrounding that matched their own shades, and the attacks too were harder to spot than the should have been. As sharpened leaves pelted against his hide in retaliation to his attack, Ethfael hardly registered them, simply returning the hit blow-for-blow with an Icy Wind.

Riley was nearby his larger Leader and was also cut up in Razor Leaf, but for him it was much harder to ignore such a blow. His fur was marred once more by his own red blood but he had no other choice than to bear the pain no matter how much there was. The Normal Type didn't pause in stride though, instead racing forward without pause to catch his green colored victim. He bounded across the stained-glass tiles with a Quick Attack aiding his sprint until he caught up with the creature. Within his throat, he felt the cold burn of ice as a Frostbreath came forth and hit against the Grass Type's broad tail, coating some of its fronds with the crystals. The caped Eevee sprang back from the enemy, just missing a swipe of retaliation from the Sceptile, and struggled to maintain his footing as he landed on a water-slicked tile behind. With a swift movement to the side he found himself in a place of relative safety for the moment, nearby two others of his kind. Recognizing the violet-colored Eevee, he offered her a slight smile as he tried to catch her eye for a moment. The next instant though, he was forced to hit the ground as a Hydro Pump shot straight over the rim of his hat and he thanked his lucky stars that he'd moved fast enough to avoid yet another blow so soon.

Hiro was soon pelted with a bunch of stupid leaves. Falling on his back he grunted and got up, in a daze. Everything slowed down as he glancing as the other teams. Returning to reality he stumbled, but didn't trip luckily. Those three needed to be taken down. But even he wasn't quick enough to fight them on with physical attacks.

Electra seemed to have been hurt the most. Scratches and bruises over her body and one limp really cold so much that it hurt... it didn't bode well. The leaves only added to the pain. She growled at the Sceptile and shot out another Electroweb at it.

Crimson, crimson, crimson, red. Everything was dyed in blood. The colors blurred and mixed and stained, until the sole shade that yet remained was the haunting tint of a full moon bright stained satin red on a starless night. The color polluted the flagons mind, seeping into her vision to cast a hazy blur over the world; A gossamer curtain drawn around her in a clinging embrace;  The bloody spray of battle. And of revenge. Revenge. Such a beautiful word. Sliding over her thought with the feel of a black, glossy fur. The sensation of ecstasy that tingled over her skin at its touch surprised her, but she let it come. She thought she had overcome the death of Cyan. She used to think she would never loose control of herself as she had now. She thought, too, that she could set aside her hatred for the team- The Acreus damned seviper and his idiotic, childish partner. Set it aside and start something new, even if only so as to not waste the sacrifice of her love.

Obvious to all, she had thought wrong.

But she knew. She knew now that what she thought was overcoming the past was in reality carefully sealing away and bottling up emotions never meant to be jared and labeled. What she had viewed as self control was truly a downward spiral diminishing a reserve already in short supply. All she had needed was something to set off the trigger. The tiniest tip of the scales. That had been provided her, and though it might seem extreme, she knew, too, that some part of her was simply looking for an excuse. Something to rekindle everything she had trampled down, and there was no telling what, if anything, could put it back out again. The battering she had received certainly had done no good. Oh no. She had let the attacks come, welcomed them even; Each blow was a reminder of her pain, and each strike served as catalyst to her rage. This time, she would not let it be caged.

From her position flitting above the battle, illuminated in a dappled pattern of the hued, filtered light, she could survey the chaos below her without threat of harm. She would sit back on her haunches and await her hapless prey. The cause of her madness (it was a sort of madness, this, wasn't it?), sorrow, and pain. They would feel tenfold what the result of their actions had cost her.
Or so was her plan, and it may have worked too, had she not been as invulnerable as she had first assumed; As she glided lazily, almost disdainfully, over the mess of  pokemon below, a rapid blur of random motion struck her. Hissing her displeasure, she instinctively retaliated, and with that she was drawn into the fray where rhyme and reason became a distant dream.

Targeting the pokemon that had shot her down from her lofty perch- she couldn't tell the species for it's speed, but tracked it easily enough for it's green color- let loose a well a Sonic Boom. The familiar jolt that followed the well used attack normally wouldn't have thrown her off balance, but the tiny fracture in her tail was just enough of a shift to hamper her.  Faltering in her flight, already fraught with rapid dodging, the flygon was sent sprawling straight into chilling wash of liquid. Contrary to the natural properties of water wherein her body temperature would eventually evaporated it, the water stuck and froze solid in rivulets of crystal tear drops where they had made contact with her body. Her wings, especially were affected, glossing over with a reflective sheen of ice, and grounding her prematurely. Crashing into the mockingly colorful floor in a less than graceful position, she simply lay still, brushed aside like so many specks of dust for the second time that day. She may have continued to lay there, too, if not for the frustration that took it's hold on her. With anger as her crutch, she pushed herself to her feet again.  Unable to take to the air once more, she rolled her crimson vision across the room. She spotted neither quarry, nor could pinpoint the new foe for more than a moment. And her she stood, grounded and all but helpless. One trial after another, but she swore that she would see them all clean stone dead in the end, be it one way or another.
