 "You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." "I'm better than ever!" Reilynn laughed as she shook the girl's hand because she was pretty used to doing it all the time.
There were two other people arguing with each other. Reilynn didn't know the people very well, but if they kept arguing with each other, they weren't going to get any fun done.
"Thanks for the concern! I'm Reilynn!" Reilynn said to the girl that approached her. She was starting to plot a way to get the two to stop arguing and this girl that started talking to her will probably get pulled into it. "So I take it you're here with these other group of people? I guess it's always fun to travel around as a group because it's much easier to mob-- erm I mean, have fun together!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

“Teddy”  Her logic didn't seem to sink into him very well. Xochiquetzal scowled, especially after he poked her as if he had the right to even touch her. Unless he was going to be carrying her for the remainder of the trip, he wasn't allowed to be anywhere near her! Still, he was larger and demons did tend to have a certain strength – pushing him wasn't something she was going to consider. Yet. “Mirrors are not accurate measures of height.” She replied as she brought a hand to her forehead, protecting it in case he wanted to poke her again. “They would allow me on as..” She paused – wait, did they really restrict people based on height? She looked at the other girls – it.. was true that, outside of the newest female, they were all taller than her.. As many of the people in school were, but.. She shooed away the doubts and returned her attention to Markus, “..I am superior. Height is not an issue.” She firmly said, deciding her status ought to override any silly height rule they had.

And it seemed like she was starting to doubt herself as well. He was definitely going to win this. No doubt about it. "Height is an issue, and you will know that as soon as you get in line. And what makes you so superior? I'm taller than you, you don't have horns, and I doubt you could breathe fire. Is there anything that makes you superior in any way?" Yuurei Shizukana "I'm Yuurei, and yes I am, excuse me for a moment," she said turning around to Xochi and Markus. "Look I don't know why you two are bothered by each other but that does not mean you should insult each other." she said walking over to them. "And you," she said turning to Markus, seprating him from Xochi. "I don't care if you're taller than her or me. I don't care that neither of us has horns and aparantly you do. And I am sorry that you're the only one who can breath fire." she said then turning to both of them. "I am also sorry you two are argueing but that does not mean you have to insult each other to get what you want. It's childish, and frankly if you two really are supior beings then you wouldn't be insulting each other to go where you want to!" Yuurei exclaimed. "Now, if you two would stop argueing we could make a compromise so both of you get to go to where you want. This is a carnaval, let's not make it a fight scene alright?" she said looking at both of them.

  ＬＩＧＨＴ  Light had left the beach and had began to wander around the surrounding area where he stumbled upon a carnival. The bright lights and colors had attracted him to the area. He was hesitant at entering at first, but once inside he found it to be a wonderfully whimsical place that had attractions he had never scene before. As he wandered around, looking at the many booths and rides, something pink and fluffy caught his attention. A man was putting this pink fluff onto a stick and it seemed to have appeared from nowhere, confusing Light. The man who was making the stuff noticed the boy right away, and took a double take when he saw the large white wings on the boy's back. "By God, is that an angel I'm seeing?" the man said. "Oh, no, um I'm no angel..." Light replied quietly, his voice nervous. "No angel? Ye are an angel! So what brings you to this earthly place?" the man replied. "I was just passing by..." replied Light, while his gaze remained on the pink stuff. The man noticed this and smiled. "Would ye like some cotton candy?" he asked holding one out. "Cotton candy? It's edible?" Light asked. "Why of course it's edible! Try some!" the man laughed giving Light the confection. Light stared at it for while, unsure of what to do. "Ye do this," the man said, demonstrating how to eat the candy. Light watched as the man ripped a piece off and popped it into his mouth. He followed and did the same and was surprised at how sweet it was. Just as he had put it into his mouth, it disappeared, surprising Light. The man laughed at Light's reaction causing him to feel a little foolish. "How much do I owe you?" Light asked. "Nothing! 'Tis on me! Now run along angel, enjoy you're time here on earth," the man said with a large smile. "T-thank you... I'm not an angel," Light continued but the man was no longer listening. Light left the little stand and began to wander around the carnival, enjoying this cotton candy stuff. ooc: i'm late in entering, but i'm here now!!! 8D

“Teddy” Heretic! Xochiquetzal could think of no other word to peg to this boy than that – questioning her importance was beyond belief! She was stunned at Markus's audacity, until a poke snapped her out of the stupor. She set a stern, heated look on her features as she smacked away his hand, “You – ” She started to snap, when Yuurei approached them again and stepped in between her and the thing. She calmed as she looked at the girl – if she was here, then she certainly was a good follower to defend her. She could only praise such individuals, but the ending of the girl's speech didn't really benefit Xochiquetzal very much. She frowned, “...That is incorrect, Yuurei.” She said immediately, “There is no 'compromise' with such inferior individuals.” She knew from experience – the only way to handle heretics was torture.
Unfortunately, she doubted the school would allow her to do that. She hadn't the proper space or equipment, at any rate. “..However, I do not wish to upset this social outing. As the divine being that I am, I will strive for your happiness.” She shot a look towards Markus before turning around, “I will leave to the ferris wheel and you will go view these dull 'carnies'. We shall meet again at a different time.” With that, she left the group to go elsewhere into the carnival – though, she did pause several times to allow someone to follow her if they wanted to. ..Not that she cared either way, but, she figured she may as well give them the opportunity than to leave them with such an impolite guest.

He was tempted to burn the Xochi girl, but he showed restraint, especially when another girl approached them. Markus stared at the girl trying to break up their little argument (Yuurei, wasn't it?). She talked about as much as Kasie, so he tuned her halfway through her speech. Insult blah blah, superior blah blah, it was just an annoying rant, really. Meanwhile, he was distracted by what was going on at one of the concession stands. Some man making cotton candy seemed to be spazzing out about an angel or something. My, what a big bird that was. All of the birds he hunted were much smaller than him. In fact, the largest bird he had was a penguin, and that was just because his family brought it for him to try. It was decent. He wondered how he would taste... Oh, she was done with her rant. And then the Xochi girl started her own. Wow, she was an arrogant one, wasn't she. "As you wish, princess," His voice dripped with sarcasm as he sneered at her. Fine by him. He had prey to chase anyway. Markus stalked after the bird man, flickering his tongue out rapidly as he tried to keep track of where he was. He decided to cut between two booths and sneak around the corner to hide in the shadows. He waited for him to pass by, and as soon as he caught sight of that bright white and felt his presence nearby, he lunged at him and tried to sink his teeth into one of his wings. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Yuurei Shizukana Yuurei hurried after Xochi, a bit sorry for snapping at her friend like that, but felt it was necessary. "I'll have to talk to you later Reilynn, looks like our group's splitting up, i'll be going with Xochi so see ya soon!" she said, catching up to Xochi. "I'm sorry I snapped like that Xochi, but in order to stop the arguement I had to be fair to both sides. However if you ever get into a fight where you don't start it i'll defend you the whole way." she said, grinning again. "And don't let the height thing bother you, you're taller than me, and i've been on a faris wheel, so i'm sure you'll be fine." she said, grinning kind of stupidly, almost like a dog trying to cheer someone up by being friendly.

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..."  What an argument! Reilynn wasn't quite sure what was happening now and she got distracted by a butterfly and before she knew it, they were walking away!
What!? What!? She missed something clearly! Reilynn was clearly confused. But she did know that the lizard-like being insulted short people. She's going to show him a piece of her mind! Short people were greater than he though. She followed him into the shadows but he jumped out and started attacking someone.
"Oh no! Oh no!" Reilynn cried out. "You can't do that you crazy tall lizard guy! Don't worry, person I don't know! I will save you!"
Too lazy to pull out her handy dandy paintbrush, Reilynn lunged at the lizard guy and latched onto him like a koala. "No no no no! Take this, tall lizardy person of biting weirdness and insulting of little people like me!" Reilynn shouted. "Super duper witch strength power go!"
If anything, she was doing nothing, but her shouting was certainly drawing attention to the riot.

Facepalm.
Kasie just had to do that when she stared in blatant horror at how this little group session ended up. Really? It was supposed to be about fun, and it shouldn't involve people trying to tear other's throats out. Yeesh. When the group split up, she debated on who to follow. There was Xochi and Yuurei, and then there was Markus, the girl who fell out of the sky, and a bird man. Hmmm.... It was most definitely the former. After all, she was going to try to step away from the craziness for now.
"Hey, you two! I'll be joining in okay?" She ditched Markus to the mercy of that eccentric witch girl in favor for the more normal crew.

ＬＩＧＨＴ Light had heard some people yelling at each other so he had made sure to veer away from them in order to stay out of the conflict. He hated getting into conflicts because it often led to violence and he could not stand violence. It scared him so Light continued to walk around when the hair on the back of his neck stood on end. He froze and looked around wildly, his silver eyes flickered around looking for the danger. Suddenly, something lunged at him and was about to rip into one of his wings when a small girl appeared out of nowhere and latched onto his would be attacker. The girl was saying some strange things to the man... or lizard man who had attempted to attack him. Light stood away from them, with a fearful expression. The girl continued to yell some strange nonsense while she remained latched onto the lizard man who seemed to be pissed off and hungry. Was he trying to eat him? The thought of being eaten made all the color drain from Light's face, making him even more paler than usual. "P-please... don't eat me," Light said gravely. ooc: lol, reading this made me laugh

“Teddy” Ah.. it seemed she wouldn't be alone after all. Xochiquetzal smiled slightly as she saw that both Kasie and Yuurei had chosen to stay with her – it was nice to know that someone in this school believed in her enough to follow despite being faced with such a tempting – ah. Wait, no, it would have been apparent who they should follow when it came between her and Markus. Still, she was happy.
She nodded at Yuurei's.. almost pledge of loyalty and patted her on the head, “It is.. appreciated, Yuurei. You have my blessing.” She looked over towards Kasie next, “You as well, Kasie.” Ah, she appreciated having friends! It was such a nice thing, knowing someone was on her side due to less inevitable reasons. She looked around where they ended up standing, forgetting about the ferris-wheel if only because.. well, if she was too short, she would rather not get humiliated by being told no. She pointed to a stand instead with a wall of balloons and a variety of toys to be one. “Perhaps we should attempt that?” Throwing darts? It seemed.. fun.

She just fell out of the sky, but still) girl called after him. What was her problem!? Couldn't she see that he was in the middle of hunting? He frowned when she latched onto him like some sort of odd marsupial creature. He stood straight up, still giving his prey a hungry stare as she shouted in his ear. Jeez, she was worse than Kasie. 'Super duper witch strength'? She was a witch? He was thankful he didn't have a tail, or else he was sure she would try to take it. He always heard rumors about witches using lizard tails in potions and such. "Would you get off? I'm not a tree," He told her with a slight hiss, tempted to shake her off. He didn't though, since he would look bad if he made her fall. He glanced back over at the cowering white bird man and bared his teeth, wanting to take a bite out of him anyway. "I won't eat you. Yet. There may be something better around here... Like a giant rat or something. "You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn stopped yelling random words when it looked like her opponent was being affected by her great powers! "Ahah! Justice is served. Well not really, I'm pretty hungry right now and I could use some food."
Reilynn was pleased with herself. She managed to take down the giant lizard guy with one super power strength. She grinned as she leapt off him. "You know! You're like a big teddy bear when you're not trying to eat random people. Well, you sure aren't fluffy at all, but you sure are pretty toasty like a heater! And it's winter so it sure is handy to be standing near you!" Reilynn remarked. Maybe she will follow this guy around so he could be her personal heater!
She turned to the person she didn't know that was being attacked. "Are you okay? How're you doing? My name's Reilynn! Hopefully he didn't give you a heart attack?" Reilynn asked him cheerfully. "He said he's not going to eat you now so everything is all peachy!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"
