TANRailgun Kaptain K Rool Pipe Private The Living Force Wish they wouldn't use lame as a derogatory term. THAT'S SO LAME is an ableist remark that I'd rather not have to hear from future generations and TV'd be best if they didn't reinforce negative societal habits. Dude. Sometimes I think y'all are just plain trollin'. rofl I be somewhat agreein' wit' this Now now, CQC is just...sensitive.... I jus' don't see how such thin's can be an offense in th' context that they be used in. Also "negative societal habits" be very vague terminology ta' use fer thin's that TV shouldn't show. Most people would call me entire way o' life a "negative societal habit"

"Lame" has been common slang for decades, now. xp Poe's law cuts both ways...as far as I can tell, he's serious. And that's...fine...he's entitled to his opinions and can express them here, I may not agree with him, and I may not understand why this is such a big deal to him...I mean I understand why it might be an issue (doesn't mean I agree) I just don't understand why it's such a major issue in his mind... To tell you the truth he's been this way (as far as I can tell) since the Derpy Hooves thing...pointing out every minor political correctness issue out there...on some of them he had a point, like the "flutterbitch" thing (again, I may not have agreed, but I understood where he was coming from). But this...I'm not so sure...I think the Derpy Hooves debacle kinda drove a wedge between him and us, and I'll admit, it's still a subject I avoid around him because I get irrationally angry over it. But I think it's time we, as a community, got over it...on both sides. And yeah I know some people are already over it, but it's still very much present in the overall community's consciousness.

Man, when you can find terms like "lamebrain" in the friggin' online Thesaurus, and other sk8ter boy terms like "lamewad" exist, then this just looks like this guy is trying way to hard to split hairs. From where I'm sitting, he's just trying to find an excuse to have the same exact argument with you again as you were having during the Derpy Hooves bit. And that, in my book, is trollin'. Unless this guy really has nothing else better to talk about. And focusing solely on My Little Pony... come on... it's ridiculous... If I sat and thought for a minute, I could come up with dozens of way more serious implications in the show that could be subtle, unhealthy messages for kids. Such as why do they need to be hip to the fact that there's a pseudo-hell in the Pony-verse (the presence of Cerberus)? And that's just extremely light. Personally, I find his argument this time to be rather... lame. xp

The Living Force Might I request that you all refer to me as "they" or "them"? How about "CQB" or "The living force" to avoid the concept of gender at all? That's what I do. That or They. SO WAIT, YOU'RE A LESBANENS?

Suicidesoldier#1 How about "CQB" or "The living force" to avoid the concept of gender at all? That's what I do. That or They. SO WAIT, YOU'RE A LESBANENS? CQC has implied previously that they have gender identity issues. Which is fine with me.
