THE WATER LAKE
Surfacing in a spot that he discovered was not the shore that he had expected, for a brief time Yuki was concerned that he'd managed to get himself horribly lost.
The little containers at the water's edge distracted him from that worry. Surely these were meant for him to find, right?
He sure hoped so, as he stuffed as many of the boxes into his basket as the thing would hold.
Even he was impressed with himself when he managed to find his way back mostly unscathed. He'd finished the course! Awesome.

Snow Dash!
First wind that literally blew her away and now fog.
Mandy hated fog. Everyone hated fog.
It made it impossible to see and was creepy as hell, in the bad way. And if it wasn’t enough the temperature couldn’t seem to decide whether to be so hot she felt like it was going to melt out of her clothes or cold enough for it to be snowing.
She frowned as the course ground beneath her started to creak ominously. What was-
Oh s**t. She was on ice. And it was hot. Hot enough for melting.
She leapt off the ice just in time to see it crack and fall away spectacularly, spotting a flag as did so.
Grabbing the fabric she carefully prodded the ground in front of her before carrying on.

Snow Dash!
In the distance she saw yet another splash of red against the white landscape. Hoping it wasnt blood or somebodies coat (for in this fog she was quite sure she could be mistaken for a flag) she took off towards it, not really watching her step even after what had just happened.
Her yelp as she felt herself sinking echoed around the area as she tried to still her heart, feet having touched solid ground quickly. The heat was obviously making the snow soft just like the ice.
Wading through knee deep snow was tyring but eventually Mandy made it to her next flag.

Mandy's ears twitched as she thought she heard a low rumbling sound, "Huh?" she glanced behind her, "OH FUC-"
Her ending to this course was eeirly similar to the last as she found herself getting swept away by a torrent of snow

Now that it was time to choose another course to complete, Astra was thinking hard and fast on which one would be the most appropriate. It was hard to think though, as there was a lot of hail about, lots of falling very close to her head.
"Ow!" She whined, rubbing her arm were one of them had hit. She decided for a split second decision and went for the Snow Dash course.

Snow Dash!
The first part didn't seem to hard. All she had to do was to run right? She sprinted along at a easy pace, until she heard a cracking sound.
"Did you know? The ice here is very thin, and it's about to break!"
This turned out to be a very timely warning, and without a second to lose she jumped, just making it to solid ground. Although she was still being pummeled by snow and hail.

Now that she was safely on the other side, The fairy continued her dash through the snow, hoping she wouldn't be subject to any other nasty traps. Though instead of traps, she soon found herself slowing down, as she began to plow through deeper and deeper snow.
"Did you know? The snow is very deep"
"Yes...I know.." Though thankfully it didn't seem to deep that she would become stuck, and she was able to continue on. Though not without a nasty headache from all the Hail.

She was almost there, she could see the finish line! But as she drew closer, she could hear a ominous rumbling sound behind her, and as fast as she was, she couldn't outrun a speeding avalanche, and was completely buried int he snow.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Today, something that wasn't water seemed like an excellent idea. So, when he chose the cave course, he had hoped to get off a little easier.
Too bad that he was being mercilessly pelted with snow and little balls of ice. Even going into the cave seemed to offer no refuge from it how was that even possible. Those hailstones jacking hurt, too, and he sincerely hoped that this course wouldn't take long to complete.
The loose scree under his feet almost slipped him up a time or two, or maybe it was grounded hailstones. Yuki didn't know or care; he simply continued forward while doing his best to keep his footing.

Right was not the right choice, and the boil was soon hurriedly backtracking his steps to make up for the error. Dashing down the left tunnel, Yuki moved on, feeling his way along the walls that his ghostly form barely illuminated as he went.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
As if the section he'd just slipped out of hadn't been cramped enough, what little hope he had of being out thanks to the dim light was quickly snuffed out... He knelt down to the low opening and peered through. Or, tried to peer though.
Grimacing, he laid down on his stomach - s**t, this mud was freezing - worming his way toward the other side. Inch by tiny inch, he eventually pulled himself all the way through and out the other side.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Things were going well, Yuki thought, until he suddenly realized that he had to be going in circles. Oh, no. He was just finding dead ends left and right. He was getting tired. Was he lost? Was he going to be stuck in this cave? How was someone going to find him in this pitch black hole? How long would it take before they started looking for him? Would they come looking for him?
He just continued to travel deeper and deeper as the worries of being trapped in the darkness threatened him with rising panic.

The Jungle Course
Mandy hadn't actually ever seen much hail in her life, certainly not any this size, and really she could have gone without. Cursing as she was pelted by the ice balls Mandy ran straight into the jungle, not really paying much attention to where she was going as she did so.
It was no surprise then that once she found a tree with thick enough coverage to shield her from the hail she had no clue where she was.
Well. Great.
Ending up searching for the trail she was supposed to be on Mandy eventually found herself stumbling into a patch of vaguely familiar foliage. Hadn't Professor Cadmus pointed that out as poisonou-
Mandy found herself back in the infirmary pretty fast.
