"Indeed..." Shun murmured in regards to the trials appearing to be more difficult than the Famine ones. It was all he had to say on the matter. Yes, he was still a bit sour on that. Most likely it wouldn't change while the trials were going on. "Yes.. I see it. Strange... toy," he added when Mitsu pointed out the bobblehead with excitement. Why would anyone want to buy something like that? It wasn't anything against Invi or the horsemen but... Bobbleheads seemed to be rather useless in his opinion. What exactly was their purpose? Other than standing there with their heads bobbing.

"Ohai! You're the ghoul from before. Want better experience? JERRRKYYYYYYY~" While the whole bag had slipped from his jaws this time, Mitsu's generous portion left behind was definitely more than enough to satisfy him - well, for now. The lil' gator chowed down on the food in mere seconds, gobbling it up as quickly and easily as a person could breathe.
Aaaah~ "Dun need heater if y'got company," Lafayette told Shun, licking his lips of stray bits. "We can huddle together. LIKE LITTLE CHILLIES. I heard they do that. Do they?" OuO "I bet they also taste like cockatrice . . . OH, thank yooouuuuuuuu, Fluffyyyyyyy~" The nearest part of her got licked gratefully.
And now the Invi bobble head was being watched . . . almost hungrily. It looked comical, what with the manner of its head bobbing and all. Lafayette once saw a bird bobs its head like that. Well, that was before he ate it at any rate. Raw bird was gooooood.

Cameron was indeed on the scene, though keeping somewhat a low profile in the crowd. The rain and wind was doing all sorts of nasty to her already hard to maintain hair, and she huffed every time she had to push about a third of it from her face. Damn, she should've thought to bring, like, a hoodie or coat or something. Picking up her phone, she scrolled through the contact list until it reached her newest acquisition, upon which she typed out a quick message.
Still coming 2 trial or did rain scare you away? wink
As she finished, Cam heard someone calling out bets, like this was a horse derby. And like the derbies, she couldn't resist at least seeing who else's interest had been piqued. The reaper slunk her way over, a hand to her face to prevent her volumes hair from curtaining it again. "Sure those'll last through da weather?" she asked the boil who seemed in charge. "I'd hate t'make a bet only ta lose it all 'cuz've a bit of water, y'know?"

"Why, my sacrificial lamb, you have grown rather nicely these last few years, I must say," there was a click as they closed their broken watch in their hand, "Though time remains the same, must be an age thing."
Though he was wearing a thick black cloak, accompanied by another slimmer cloaked figure beside him, there was no mistaking his voice, especially not to Aisa. He interrupted her though, before she could instinctively begin the ritual of guidance, of Heir to-
- "You are spared formalities today." The tone was curt. "I would like to speak to you, in private. Walk quietly with us, let noone suspect or actions for better or worse, there are many eyes here who seem overly curious, if you catch my drift."
Both cloaked figures stepped out into the rain, waiting one second longer before they moved into the portal. Random Artist - Aisa is now redirected HERE

The beach had been fine. Dev hadn’t minded the beach that much. In fact, the demon ghoul had rather appreciated the warm weather, although she couldn’t exactly say the same thing about the sunniness. But this time? This time it was pouring. Hard. Dev had shrieked as soon as she stepped out into the rain. She was familiar with wet weather, but it was as if it would have been a better idea for her to jump into a lake! At least the spectators were able to sit underneath a barrier as the trials went on. She grumbled under her breath as she wrung water out of her braid while she searched for a free seat. It was rather crowded here, but then again the trials were hot news. Once Dev spotted a couple of empty chairs her eyes lit up and she plopped into it. The ghoul shuddered at the unpleasant sensation of water sloshing in her boots. Even more unpleasant was how cold she suddenly felt. As she kept her eyes glued to the screen, Dev cringed. Oh Jack. Good thing she wasn’t participating in these trials.
She leaned back in her seat, her tail curled while she intently watched the contestants attempt through the courses. Her lips curled into a toothy grin as Dev watched a couple of them fly away or fabulously fail or both. However, she seemed particularly curious about the little green creatures they all toted around in their backpacks. Oooh. What were those things? Ears perked, she decided to lean over to the ghoul next to her and whispered, “Is ‘at th’ lepus guide they waur talkin’ abit? Looks cute.”

"Hiiiiiii, Frost-kun!" Tomoko greeted as Frost in the Storm came to sit next to her, grinning widely, then seeming to be puzzled for a moment as the weather changed and fog blew in on the tides of things. "Ouuu, this is unusual. Do you think the Horsemen are doing this?" she asked with a small puzzle to things, before she looked over to both boils again.
----
Invictus didn't seem to be phased by the strange..souvenirs that were being thrown about - even in his image - his attention half focused on the heir who was seated a few rows away from him. He'd been inclined to go move to join her, but his expression changed ever so slightly at the appearance of the figure that was behind her.
Even as the two moved away without acknowledging that he was there, he still took a moment to bow his head respectfully in the passing, before watching as Aisa also left, expression slightly tighter now than it had been before.
He'd been expecting that if he'd been spoken with, so would the girls. Still, to move without unsettling the groups present in the stand had been impressive - he would have to learn that one.
----
Sura seemed to marvel as the weather changed, pressing her face up against the barrier to get a better look at what was happening out in the courses with fascination.
She was actually pondering if she'd be able to destroy things out on them, but that was nobody else's concern, right?

Woe should have been had for Sura, for the moment she had taken to stop and look at things was the moment someone decided it was time to scale her and visit the wondrous heights. Okay so maybe Sura wasn't super huge but that wasn't going to stop Savior from wanting to climb on her.
Savior liked climbing and she had no idea where the hell she was or what she was even doing. At least it was cooler her? She missed the warmth though and wondered if they would be going back to that warm and sunny place any time soon.

Jack counted his lucky stars for how quick it was in-and-out of the rain, shaking the umbrella off as Tomoko leaded him to their seats, watching the groups come in as slowly as they could make their way, everyone just happy to be out of the rain-drenched mud.
Ears flicking as her questions riddle off softly, he could only counter with small murmuring and nods at first, just kind of feeling dull and ill about everything. It wasn't until King came to sit next to them that he picked up a little, soft mewlings of his feline friend bringing him back as his dulled eyes lighting up the fog around them that wisped through the barriers.
"I'm sure it was some kind of feat, now that you think about it." He drawled out at first, finally answering to her early question, before looking back at the . . . events playing as everyone was blown around and now fighting the fog as if it meant everything - which he was sure as hell it probably was - his tail thumping on the ground softly as he thought.
"But, I don't doubt that they meant it when they said it would be a test of strength," he continued, lifting a hand to scratch his chin scruff, a complaint from his kitten reminding him he was there, a soft hand patting the calico's fur. "I'm sure they know what they're doing with this kind of event though . . . This doesn't seem like something you would wing." He finished, looking down at her, hoping that he sounded sure of himself, at least.

King eyed the small kitten with less a need to chase so much as idle curiosity. Did Jack..carry kittens often? Looking back to the screens he watched, particularly at those of the team Tomoko was cheering on. Even if it changed from wind and water to fog and humidity- it still wasn't snow. He'd be happy if it was snow. Once it was snow, he’d feel okay about these trials and their way of putting everyone in places that to him, were more or less slices of hell. At least Halloween was dark and didn’t have sand, and a bright sun and it has snow. Beautiful snow he could bury himself in. This place? Rain and a lack of anything remotely plesent. Granted this time it wasn’t so bright but still. He was a wet dog. "Hrmmmm." Looking at Jack and Tomoko then back to the screens he sighed. "Strength is not always about one's body or power. To me, I see this as-- a test of strength of conviction. Of determination and will. If one were to judge my physical power alone- would not a majority of monsters win by their nature alone?" Looking at Jove's team he smiled. "I think that if it more a test of one's inner self as I think it is meant to be, then the teams are their own worst enemies in this case."

Sura didn't mind being scaled, pausing only to look and see who her new passenger was while remaining motionless, her eyes brimming with yellow and confusion. Where had they come from?
Still, she didn't seem to mind that Savior had scaled her, shifting to put the ghoul's legs over her shoulders in a very amusing shoulder-carry that was probably highly unstable and very distracting.
But that was fine with her.
----
"I don't think the Horsemen wing anything though..." Tomoko lamented to an extent, tilting her head from side to side thoughtfully as she considered the many ways the weather could have been faked. Perhaps they had illusioned their weather changes? Did they have a powerful illusionist with them?
Ooouuuuu, if they did she would have very much liked to have seen it.
"Strength of the spirit, rather than strength of the body?" she inquired. "It is very much a battle against the elements, however. Is there a course you two think you would do particularly well at?" Tomoko seemed thoughtful as she looked over the screens and the different courses.
"I'm not sure how I'd fare at any of them..."

YAY SOMEONE WAS PLAYING WITH SAVIOR! She was more than delighted that she had a place to sit now and Savior placed her hands on Sura's head, cooing beneath her mask. The Marrowstripe wasn't big on words so she just sat there instead, watching the events unfurl.
She was supposed to be cheering for a team but she forgot. Oops. Was there even someone out there she knew? By this point in time her avoidance of West had made her all but forget him and that was sad.

Amphi blinked as they arrived on the beach of the last trials. The blanket under the same blue umbrella was pristine and clean, not showing signs of the drink containers litter that Thana may or may have left. (not really, Amphi just >>>>: all over Thana all the time) before she was addressed by another halloweener.
"I'm sorry?" She blinked up at the girl, she had a weird accent...Amphi cocked her head before smiling at her. "I haven't seen many lepus's but I hear that particular one is quite...." Amphi thought of a polite word, "Chatty. My name is Amphi, a second year student here. Are you a student at Amityville?" She scooted over on the blanket, patting the seat next to her. This was not bad change of company though...she missed Biskoto and.....Well no, mostly Biskoto. Thana could...She sighed inwardly at the Moira reaper.

Sura just thrummed contentedly, not worried about any 'introductions' of sorts. It looked like the Marrowstripe had gotten comfortable up where she was, so the Colossus was fine with her just staying there anyways.
Even if someone behind the yelled about the pair blocking the view. Sura just passed them a creepy a** stare then continued to watch the trials, her tail flicking back and forth with a violent force she didn't intend for it to have.

Lumi walked through the portal thinking that the blasted sun would be out again. Her poor ears were red and the tips of her tail and nose were equally red. She had found something soothing to put on them after the first trip through the portal. But when she looked around she smiled happily. This time is was darker, the sky looked gray and looming above her. This was more like it she thought as she stepped through. Her long coat hanging down to keep most the elements that might escape the barrier off herself she looked around to see if she could spot anyone familiar from the first event.

[ Entering] Kekoa ran through the portal on all fours with a purr like sound. "More games!" He said aloud happily as his tail wagged like crazy. He stopped when he noticed that it wasn't that sunny like the last place, but felt that it was something better than before. Koa stopped after exiting the portal as he looked around for anyone that he had interacted with before. His eyes lit up when he spotted Lumi. "LUMI! OVER HERE!" He yelled with his hands cupping around his mouth then waved for her to be able to see him.

Lumi's ears twitched slightly as she heard her name being called. Turning to see the boil she met during her first trip through the portal. A smile came to her face as she waved and slowly made her way over to him. She had completely forgotten his name but was sure that as she slowly made her way back to him she'd remember it. Something small caught her eye, she quickly scooped it up before stopping in front of the boil. "HI! I thought I wouldn't see you again, or...well that you had friends here at the school that you'd be more interested in seeing that is."Lumi glanced down at the item that caught her attention is was a small sand dollar. Interesting names humans gave to items. Holding it out to Koa, "Oh! I found this just a moment ago...I thought maybe you'd like it in your collection. Koa...Oh wait that's right Koa!"Giggling happily that she remembered his name she seemed to just ramble on about nothing.
