Please keep one of my coworkers in your thoughts and prayers. Her crazy-a** boyfriend came to work last night and punched her in the face for not answering his phone call to her. Police are already involved and she's staying a friend's house.
Update: Please continue to keep her in your prayers. She took him back sad

I never seen friends as reliable. Here in New Zealand we have "Women's Refuge". These people pick up women who are abused by their partners, and the children as well if they have any. The pick them up when the abusive partner is not there... tell them to take the minimum stuff, some clothes... maybe a few toys for the kids... but just what they really truly need. They need to make it quick quick.

Anyway... they stop the women from going back to the partner out of fear, they help them through that subconscious drive to go back to their partners. A friend who has never been through it, will never really be able to fully support this coworker of yours.

Professional help is needed.

Also, those the victims... need to WANT help, in order for it to work... if she was told to stay at that friend's house unwillingly... I do not see it as a good sign.

So I think the best prayer would be asking to give her toe will power to seek help. Those who want help, get help.

Please keep me in your prayers. I need to go to a tax professional today. I tried to file online and seemed to owe a lot. I think I might be doing something wrong. I can't take this any more. I can't.

Well I want to pray for everyone in this forum and to the people who keep their intentions silently in their hearts.

I really do want each of your lives and the lives of your loved ones to get better.

I'm extremely happy to see that God is with you all and that you recognize Him, especially in the areas of your life that seem the most dark.

Great job with the awesome quarter, frog_mage! School at this time of year really drags us all down.

Keep me in your prayers guys. I got rear ended in a car accident. The doctor didn't find anything wrong but gave me some muscle relaxers for back pain.

I ask for prayers for 2 friends of mine, they both are going though a bad relationship phase. One feels like she isn't good enough to find someone... and the other, is breaking up with someone, a good friend, who thought their relationship was going beyond "friendzone".

Also, for a 3 friend, the said good friend, He is just in a pissy mood right now. [bad enough, to tell me to go and kill myself] I fear he might do something bad, but he will not talk to me or anyone. He was the reason for the earlier vent... sorry....

As stated in another thread, a person very close to my heart, named Bill, has brain cancer at the age of 23-years-old. I hope, wish, and even pray that he will recover from this, and live a much longer, more fulfilling, happy life.

Having him in your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

While making my rounds here I came across your post in the divine intervention thread. I'm praying for your friend, that he may have the Holy Spirit to comfort and encourage him and that he may be healed.

Hi,
I am asking for prayers for both of my foster kids. These kids are in their teens now, tho I have known them since they were toddlers. I love them like my own. My daughter (they call me mom, and I know they are "mine" regardless of blood or genetics. So they are my daughter and my son, as far as I am considered/

Anyway, my daughter just turned 16 and has been in the hospital for 3 days now. They did a liver biopsy yesterday and though I don't know the results yet, I know that my daughter has had problems eating, and processing food for a number of years. She feels nauseous all the time, and it doesn't really seem to go away. We now know it is somehow related to her liver, and they are moving her to the surgical floor as they have a few ideas on how to proceed thru surgery. Her brother is turning 15 today. I love him with all my heart, but this kid has had a really rough road. Both the kids were abused and neglected, and after living with me for awhile (after he was removed from his home/parents) it became necessary for him to live in a group home. He is really struggling now with abandonment issues, and general anger at life, at god, at every adult that hasn't "been there" (including me). Please pray that he finds peace, and some answers to/for his angst before his anger becomes his nature and a core part of his identity rather than a fleeting moment in what i hope will be his very long life.

Thanks for your prayers for both kids. I can't give them all I want, and while my daughter is in the hospital, I don't have a car and have been unable to see either of the kids as much as I want (or as much as they need). I guess if you are to pray for me, please pray for my health as i have my own issues, and for transportation/a car so I can take care of them and be closer to them and more active in their lives. It would do wonders in my desire and their need to know they are loved, and in nurturing them both after so many traumatic years. A car would help more than I can express.
Of course, nothing is more important then their health.

I know this was long, but thanks for listening, and I do appreciate your prayers especially for my daughter as this is getting quite serious/overwhelming,

Thank you,
celeste heart heart heart

A car... could you save maybe around $500, in say a few months? Set aside a luxury or two and put it towards saving up for a second hand car?

And your daughter, well, if the doctors are not worried yet, then she is in good hands, but I will pray that the doctors minds and hands are guided in the right direction for them to help her.

Your son, I pray he will find peace, knowing he is loved.

I will keep both of you and your children in my prayers. My sister was in a foster home in her teens. I'm familiar with this situation in that regard. If you can keep in contact with him, try to do so. As for your daughter, I hope the doctors are able to fix her problem.

Qyx had some good advice about getting a car. Another route, depending on your income might be to look into any charities in your area that donate cars. I know my friend back down in Louisiana had his church donate him a used car.
