It was always the ball and chain that hit her hardest; not to mention, they were hard to avoid. Based off admittedly limited experience Reine could, to an extent, read her opponent's movements, better still if they were using a sword. Staggering backwards when Tori hit her this time, it took Reine a few seconds to recover and move back into her usual fighting stance.
This time, when she swung the swordbreaker at Tori, shards of ice budded from the surface of the blade and flew towards the other trainee like darts. It didn't take her long to realise that Tori's FEAR shield had broken, and Reine immediately unsummoned Alynthe, rushing over to her friend.
"Let's stop here," she suggested, looking at Tori worriedly. Since her promotion she'd been trying harder to do the whole control thing, at least when it came to spars with other trainees- she really didn't intend on sending more people to the infirmary..

Sighing slightly fully well knowing that she was in need or more practice with just her ball and chain to better understand on how to use it properly. Maybe later on she might have to try and just use her chain in a spar with someone.
Tori was impressed with Reine's attack as ice budded from the sword and when the ice flew towards her and was surprised that it hurt a lot. But then her fear shield broke and took some damage from the ice attack with small cuts all over her arms and unsummoned her weapon.
"Sounds good to me and don't worry," she replied with a smile as Tori didn't want to worry her friend. "But thanks for sparing with me, Reine," she added give her friend a quick hug. Well at least this spar wasn't as bad as with Marcus, she was tired and sore but with rest she would be good. "Later on we will have to spar again,"

Reine let Tori hug her, returning the gesture before pulling away again, glad to see that at least her friend wasn't too badly injured. The last attack had been slightly surprising; Ally's attack seemed to have changed a little from before, almost leveled up, so to speak. It was nice to think they were both getting stronger, bit by bit. Just baby steps, but one day, maybe, she could be like Caelius.
"That was good practice," she added, grinning at Tori. "I'd be up for more sparring anytime!"

Tori smiled big at Reine as she had fun regardless of the outcome. "That it was and fun too," Tori answered still smiling at her good friend. "Cool as I do look forward to it as well,"
