"Gale. You still have that note from the North Pole Mission, or did you turn it in?"
Maddie's voice. Slowly Gale turned his head, his eyes meeting those of the older girl's, and quietly he nodded, his hair falling across his eyes.
"Yes," he replied, in a very hollow sort of voice, and reached into his pocket, digging around for a moment. He wasn't sure why he kept carrying the stupid scrap with him, but apparently it might actually come in use.
Hopefully it would explain some things.
"Here," he said softly, and unfolded the paper.

Vanessa actually hadn't been back to her dorm yet.
Instead, she'd taken to trying to find a good place to bury what she'd brought back from the mission. Eventually, she'd found a rather nice, undisturbed looking place in one of the corners of their area for KIA Hunters, and had dug a little hole with the toe of her shoe. Gently, she'd removed the bone fragments from her pocket and from the tissue she's wrapped them in, and then placed them inside the little hole. She'd said a few words, kind of awkwardly since she didn't even know who these bones had belonged to, and buried them.
On her way back to the dorms, she'd found herself getting side-tracked, and ended up in the library of all places. There seemed to be a slight crowd forming around the computer area, and found herself trying to slyly pass by the group. She caught the explanation of the situation as she did so, curiously looking over a few of the others' shoulders. A password protected archive...?
Volt immediately perked up in her mind. The tesla cannon loved puzzles and riddles almost as much as jokes and puns, and mentally nudged her to go check out the situation even more. She glanced over the note, letting the electrical dragon hungrily see what they had to work with. From the height and width of the notes, it could be assumed they needed two more chunks, and if there were the same number of letters/numbers on those two pieces, that meant they'd need four digits or letters.
:: Does the code have to be numerical or can it be in letters? Or both? Can you ask for me? :: Volt questioned, hoping that his trainee would carry actually along his message.
Vanessa complied, quietly asking the gathered trainees from over her shoulder, pretending to look at some of the nearby books, "Do we know if the password is made up of numbers, letters, or a mixture of the two?" Volt was practicially humming in her mind with anticipation. Oh how he loved puzzles like this~

For one, Eva was not smiling, her expression rather grim as she slipped into the library. She wasn't entirely sure why she was here, but perhaps she had been hoping to find something to distract her for a while. Truth be told, Eva was still rather shaken up about everything. The fact that she had been right there when Barney and Sandy--
--Eva, don't.
Though her voice was firm, there was a rather gentle tone behind Chara's words. The corners of Eva's lips quirked upwards in a weak smile as she made her way farther into the library. Yeah...yeah, I know. I just don't think I'll ever get used to seeing people dying. She could not claim that the deaths had come as a surprise--she knew what the risks were when they were out there--but that knowledge didn't make accepting them much easier.
Before she could dwell much longer on the matter, she heard a group of whispered voices from nearby. Breaking out of her thoughts, she let her curiosity get the better of her, weaving around the bookcases until she found--ah?
She cocked her head to the side at the trainees who were gathered in front of a computer. Without a word, she slipped forward, reaching out to lightly touch Saya's shoulder. Eva remembered her quite well--she had given her a hand during Allan's mission last time. She offered Saya a small smile, and then turned to give the other trainees a small nod in greeting.
She didn't speak--maybe she was just too tired to do so. It didn't look like she had been sleeping well.

Marcus shook his head and rolled his eyes at the other trainees. "I'd like to point out once again, that gathering around Saya and not keeping your voices down is likely to get us all caught, even if we're not a part of this whole affair." He hissed through his teeth, trying his best to keep his voice down as well. Some of the other hunters had taken the hint, others not so much. On the screen of his computer, was a database search for horsemen and lairs. It was coming up... a bit short really. "We do have cellphones that can be put on silent mode to send messages just-" He rolled his eyes. "You're trying to break into files of a former death hunter. I hope you realize who the death hunter division lead is and what he might do if he finds out."
Clicking on one of the links, Marcus was half paying attention, half actually doing research. Half assed research, but hey, it was something. Bringing his phone in one hand under his desk Marcus managed to type out a message
His phone snapped shut as he went back to scrolling down the page he was on. He only briefly looked up to give Eva a small wave. "Tired?" It was a simple, if unrelated question asking in a hushed voice."
Quote: OOC: I actually don't know/have much of an idea for the code so much as a-artifact, 1-1999, m-mission, 6-666. but when I plugged this in, didn't work so IIAM

Without any sort of thing to go by, this was going to be pretty hard. Deryk stared at the screen some more, while listening to the other trainees in the area. Though, soon, Saya had managed to find some image that had something in red on it.
"Think we have our key. Hold on. Gimme a moment," he murmured while looking at the note. The gears had begun to churn in his head. Then, in the next moment, he took the keyboard and started to input a few different possibilities. Nothing yet.
"Hm... Oh. Wait. Think I got it. Maybe... Just maybe," he said to himself while thinking on it a little longer. The code seemed to be pretty simple. He just needed to order it right.
And so on his next attempt, A new screen came up
"Jackpot. Looks like its a bunch of mission archives... why so classified?"
