Matthan sighed quietly as he began walking to school on a chilly Monday morning. It was in fact, February 14th. He completely despised this day and had nothing to do with it unless he had a hook up which he never had on this day. He looked down as he walked. He finally came up to the building that was his school and went straight to his first class which was art. He was truly good at art, but kept that to himself. He didn't talk much to people he didn't know but the people he did know he was very loud with. Sadly, he had yet to meet a person in his art class so he was very alone as he worked silently at his table on a sculpture.

~~ Noah Hall~~Noah seemed a little cockier than normal, he walked into school in all pink and white with a big red heart painted on his left cheek. He strolled easily into art, long legs in a stride but frowned when he saw some jock in his favorite seat. He saw an open seat next to a rather cold looking beautiful boy, he smiled and sat next to him and out of his white skinny jeans pulled out a small heart shaped candy and placed it infront of the boy. "Happy Valys." Noah smiled.

He looked up and then down at the wrapped candy and gave the boy a look that said he was obviously not used to people. "Umm, thanks... I guess." He silently took the candy and continued working, feeling kind of uncomfortable when the boy remained standing there not saying anything. "You can sit here I guess..." He mumbled as he focused back on his sculpture. He softly pressed and used his fingers in the tough leather-like clay. He looked down at his small mound of excessive clay and decided he needed more.

~~ Noah Hall~~Noah smiled and sat down pulling free a book, he was never really good at art, he didn't like it, it wasn't creative with clay and the like, he took the class because it was required so he put up with it. After a few mintues of his eyes scaning the papers of the book for his english essay he looked at the other boy and noticed his lack of red, pink, or white and pipped up, "Hey, wears your red for the holiday?"

He returned and put the clay down in front of his sculpture, pulling some pieces off of it when needed. He noticed the boy wasn't doing anything that related to art and shook his head discretely. He sighed and finished off his sculpture as the boy ashed him a question. He shook his head and shrugged, "Don't really care for today since I never have anyone on this day."

~~ Noah Hall~~Noah looked saddened by this answer and then rummaged inhis backpack for something then fished out a small vile of red face paint and a paint brush, he walked around and painted a large heart that matched his own onto the boy's right cheek with a big smile, "Well no one should be alone right?" he said and admired his handiwork, "If any one asks I'll just be your valentine." he said with a bigger smile.

Matthan gave him a quizzical look as he rummaged through his bag and when he pulled out a vile of red paint then came towards him with it, he gave him an unsure look but he didn't stop him when he was painting the heart on his face. He smiled a little when the boy said he would be his valentine. He felt a little ping in him and sudden warmth. He looked down and blushed softly but tried to hide it by making the excuse of the need to go put his sculpture to the firing pile and washing his hands off.

~~ Noah Hall~~Noah smiled, he could tell that he'd made someone happy and nestled back into his seat and read some more. When the bell rang he rolled his shoulders and threw on his backpack and headed for the door only stopping to boldly kiss the boy who's name he did not know on his left cheek. "Happy Valentines Day, kid." he said then left the art room bound for english.

When the bell rand, Matthan gathered all his things and walked out the classroom slowly to head to band. When the boy stopped and kissed him on the cheek, his face got a bright red and he heard people muttering but didn't care. Not only did he have a valentine this year, his valentine just kissed him on the cheek. He sighed happily and made his was to band.

~~ Noah Hall~~Noah smiled as he hummed down the hall and went to english. He remained quite and took his test followed by social studys then went to lunch. A smile played on his lips the whole day, he even touched up his heart and ate by himself for lunch with a few girls stopping by to wish the best for the day and with a smile and wave he sent them off.

Matthan couldn't help but smile the whole day, not having gotten kissed on the cheek by a guy for a long time. Soon band was over and then he had chemistry. As he entered the room, he hoped that maybe he had this class with that boy, but he didn't. He quietly sighed and lost the smile a little bit. By the time lunch came, the smile was gone completely. He went through the lunch line and then sat at a table by himself again.

~~ Noah Hall~~As Noah was munching on a slice of pizza he saw the boy gluide into the room, the smile he had been oh so careful to but on his beautiful features gone and heart on his cheek smuged. Noah stood, gathered his things and went to the boy's lunch table, he came around behind him and kissed his cheek softly. "Hey valentine." he breathed into the boy's ear before sitting down. Noah smiled warmly and started to eat again.

As Matthan sat there and ate, he read a book quietly. it was manga about these two people falling in love and stuff and he sighed heavily as he closed the book and are his salad, being very conscience of his weight. There was a brisk kiss on his cheek and the boy from art sat down in front of him, saying hi. "Oh, umm, hi..." He mumbled with a soft smile and a small blush covering his face.

~~ Noah Hall~~"There it is." Noah said with a smile refering to the smile so softly played on he boy's lips, "You seem awfuly sad for such a hoilday still." he smiled wider and fished out his paint again to touch up the boy's heart on his cheek.
