Current Location: Near Yuina's wall. Mood: Calm Course of Action Taking:Walking towards the part of the wall that overlooks the center of Yuina. What is expected of him?: Nothing at the moment
The distance between him and the wall was not so far, after all, he had super human speed and could be there in a matter of minutes. He got closer and closer to the wall, as he got closer, he noticed a bush moving in front of him. He stopped dead in his tracks and quickly took out his sword with his right hand, pulling it from the blue sash that held up the swords against him.
In the bush, it seemed, there was nothing more then what appeared to be a normal rabbit, that is until it turned around... it had bloodied fur on its face and had huge teeth coming out near its snout and the deepest black eyes one could see on a rabbit.
"You are one disgusting animal..."Thought Lyern while not doing the least bit of trying to hide his disgusted face from that horrid animal. The animal growled like a weird chirping bird and bared its teeth before it took to the air, aiming an attack at Lyern. He quickly thought it was a preposterous thing to see a rabbit attack him and he kicked the small animal while it was in the air. It hit a nearby tree and let out a small squeak of what seemed anger mixed with pain.
He decided to continue walking as he did not wish to see the rabbit's disfigured appearance again. Soon he reached the wall and took a big leap into the air to quietly fall on the other side, light as a feather, unheard and unseen.He soon realized he was back near the casinos and brothels of Yuina, as he closed his eyes and inhaled. He heard slight whimpers not too far away from him and decided to check out its source.
He felt unusual... in one day he has helped a boy, killed a man that helped him and is now walking towards the source of some whimpering female."This is not like me at all, I don't let other's abuse their power... but why am I interfering so much?"He thought and asked himself while coming around the corner to see where the whimpers came from.
It was a soldier smelling of sake and carrying a young girl on his shoulder.He walked slowly after them, trying to not arouse any suspicion as he had already done quiet a few things this day. After a few moments of following the soldier, he stared at the girl who's attire looked like that of one from a brothel. He crept closer to the soldier carrying the girl and made a slight waving motion with his right hand at the girl to try and get her attention. He grabbed a hold of his sword's hilt and slid it just a bit from its sheath to make show of his intentions towards the man.

"Please! You don't understand! I can't go back! I'll be killed if I do!" Seiko wailed as she kicked ineffectually at his broad muscled chest, her efforts only earning her a tight squeeze on her thigh as the soldier dug his fingers into her skin.
Hot tears began to gather at the corners of her eyes before they made slow steady trails down her cheeks as she continued to struggle against him. She couldn't stab him, her dagger was in her obi, and was being pressed firmly into her abdomen because of his shoulder.
It was all over now, there was no use arguing with a drunk. She would be returned to the brothel and presented to her mistress. She would be killed for what she had done to that man in her room. The madam wouldn't listen to reason, she wouldn't believe that she had killed him in self defense.
Her fingers loosened their deathly grip as she realized that she wouldn't be able to escape. This was the end. She could forget about her freedom, forget about ever returning home, forget about everything..
Her eyes suddenly rose as a shadowy figure came into her line of vision. She watched him for a few moments, thinking him to be just another passerby, but after a few moments, it became apparent that he was in fact following them, but he was being really cautious about it.
As he steadily came closer, she lifted her head and watched him more closely, curiously. What is he up to? She wondered, she glanced briefly at the soldier, he was still ranting about her behavior and wasn't paying attention it seemed. She looked back to the strange man with straw colored hair and wearing a dark gray kimono as he ventured ever closer.
She rose a brow as he motioned to her briefly and that nailed it. He was definitely following them. She watched as his hand moved to the hilt of his sword, and her indigo eyes widened as she caught onto his silent intentions.

Lyern saw the petite girl's brow rise and her indigo eyes widen as she noticed him tailing them and sliding his sword from the sheath a little. He tighten his grip around the hilt of the sword and made a quick dash to appear in front of the soldier who was carrying her.
The man was rugged, and he looked like a mature soldier, not like those men who he had fought with before, who supposedly had rank but were amateurs. He did not expect a great challenge even if he might have some combat experience, specially since a few decades of experience could not compare to a thousand years of experience such as his.
Lyern did not need more suspicion in this town as had already brought to himself earlier. He enjoyed overlooking the streets all day and night long. He could not use his power for the girl was there and he didn't want her to know that he was not completely human or human at all. "After so many years absorbing and experimenting with different beings could I really be a human at all just because I look like one on the outside?"He had often thought on this for long periods of time during his life and even at this very instance as he stood in front of them.
"I believe that's my woman you're stealing.." He coldly said aloud glaring at the soldier as he noticed he was digging his nails into her thigh and awaited for the drunken man's response.

Rezsera woke up to people moving around and orders being hollered by Akiko. It wouldn't be long before Rezsera would be yelled at to get ready herself looking decent since it seemed that she was the last one to get up. This might have been because she was almost sexually assaulted on her first day on the job, and it was just as easy to assume that this wouldn't happen again. Slapping her face twice with both her hands simultaneously she was slightly more awake then a couple seconds ago and wasted no more time getting up as she dashed toward the restroom to get herself looking presentable. After a couple of minutes Rezsera was out and about just like the rest of her co-workers doing task such as fetching food and drinks, dancing, singing, bringing plates to the kitchen and then being made to wash said dishes, etc., It was all a lot of work but Rezsera was happy and content yet was frantic with everything that she was being made to do. After a couple of hours Rezsera decided it was time to take a break, she walked up to the door that lead to Akiko's room and politely knocked on the door twice before getting a response.
"Yes, yes. Come in but make it quick I DO have an Inn to run." Rezsera walked in and bowed to Akiko before speaking, "Excuse me Ma'am, is it ok for me to go on a break for a bit?" Blowing smoke into the air Akiko gave the girl a shrug and nodded to the girl as Rezsera smiled and bowed to Akiko again before going down the steps that lead to the main hall and walked outside. She stood still for a brief moment and looked around examining her surroundings as she took a deep breath and then exhaled as she began to walk around town since she never really had the chance to "adventure" around town since she was more worried about not dying due to exhaustion and hunger. As she walked around she could hear the whispering voices of those around her and she couldn't blame them either; She was a tall girl which was odd enough but pile on the fact that with her dark skin which easily made her look like a foreigner from some distant land. The girl shrugged it off and proceeded with getting used to city of Yuina.

The soldier stopped suddenly and she gasped, wondering what had caused it as she had not seen the other man move. Her eyes widened then as she could hear laughter rumble through his chest. "Is that so? I would be glad to fight you for her boy, but believe me she is hardly worth the trouble."
Seiko lifted her head and propped her self up enough to see the other man who was now in front of the soldier, standing a stone's throw away with his arms crossed and a smirk on his lips. Her eyes widened before narrowing at him, just who did he think he was? In that moment, the reality of her situation became strikingly clear. Her surroundings had changed, but her circumstances remained the same. She would merely be traded from one slave master for another.The soldier's grip on her tightened painfully.
"Ann!" Seiko cried out in pain, before she began to struggle again in earnest to escape his grasp. She was tired of being property! She didn't want to belong to anyone! She even made it so far as to reach back and claw the man with her nails before he resumed speaking to the other man again, it didn't even faze him. She bit her lip as her gaze was once again focused on the strange young man who stood in the way of the brothel.
I'm glad he finds this amusing, she thought sourly, finding herself torn between relief and disappointment, but more than curious with what might happen next. The man in front of them appeared to be like any other human, save for his strangely colored hair, but how had he moved so fast?

Dull words passed through Lyern's ears as the drunk man babbled on. He thought to himself, if he should just kill the man instead of trying to talk to him, nevertheless the girl would go with him no matter what was the outcome of this talk.
"Yes it is so, now hand her over."Lyern said angrily as his gaze stuck to the man holding girl standing before him."Well are you gonna put her down or do you not understand what I am saying?"He asked impatiently towards the soldier.
Lyern was getting more and more impatient just by being near the drunk man. He knew he could not use his powers, but the choice to kill him with those powers did not falter from his mind.
He did not want to scare the girl but he did not want to play with the man. Soon people near the brothel started wondering what was going on, since it was very rare for someone to challenge a soldier, more and more gathered or peeked towards him and the soldier as they continued to argue.
They were all clearly looking forward to the latter fighting. Lyern was looking forward for it too, he already planned everything out. If he would have to get physical, it was simple. Either run or murder them all.

The soldier's laughter faded into a dark chuckle. "I see you are very persistent. As I said earlier, I will not give her up without a fight. You insolent cur. I will teach you a lesson to never show disrespect toward the emperor's guard!"
His words were her only warning before her body met the ground with enough force to knock the air out of her lungs a second time this day. Seiko pulled in a ragged breath and coughed violently into the dirt. Her hands rose to clutch at her chest as she struggled to pull in deep breaths. Even over her struggles, the telltale sound of a sword being drawn from its sheath reached her ears.
Seiko lifted her head to find a tight-knit crowd of onlookers surrounding them and the soldier's blade gleaming in the lantern-light. He grinned down at the straw haired man as though he were a petulant child in need of discipline. The man was at least twice the other's size around and a full head taller. It was like watching a child fight a giant.
Seiko felt a bubble of fear rise into the back of her throat and quickly swallowed it down. Why should she care that he was risking his life for her? He was doing what any man would do when defending his property. Still, the prospect of seeing his blood spilled for her sake did not sit well.
"Stupid, foolish man," she muttered under her breath.
"Don't just stand there boy, draw your sword. Or is it fear that stays your blade?" the soldier jeered, laughing heartily at the man.
The giant gave no warning before his first attack but his swing was slow and uncoordinated, his movements inhibited by his inebriated state.

Lyern's expression changed as man insulted him and dropped the girl to the ground, it sounded like it had taken all the air out of her lungs as she coughed violently."You know, getting called insolent cur by a drunk, is really funny." He said to the soldier letting a sly smile escape while doing so.
The soldier drew his sword out and he could faintly hear the girl calling him a, "Stupid, foolish man."
He quickly turned his eyes onto her and said a simple, "I heard that," towards her and after the soldier asked him if he was gonna draw his sword, he did so. However, this time it looked different from the other time he had drawn it out. It was the usual black color, but the gold designs were a dark purple that seemed like it could glow under the moonlit sky.
The soldier slashed his sword slower than one would expect from all his talk about messing with the emperor's guard. Lyern had more than enough time to react he blocked it with his own sword and asked the man, "Are you really going to throw your life away being drunk? You are a bigger fool than I thought," after saying those words Lyern just stood there.

As the girl was continuing her exploration of the giant city of Yuina, she found herself walking toward the Shimahara Brothel that Akiko told her about while working today. From far away it looked pretty nice and Rezsera thought that she should take a closer look and remember it if she would need to be sent out to fetch something from there. Once she got closer Rezsera started to regret her decision as she started to hear what sounded like an argument that was quickly escalating way out of control. It was already too late since being raised by monks make one want to stop or at least prevent conflicts from spiraling out of control. The closer she got the clearer the argument was to her. "....you are a bigger fool than I thought" was the last thing she heard before actually getting to the argument between two men, she also saw a girl hiding behind one man. Summing up the conflict as one man trying to protect a defenseless girl from an obviously drunk officer who is trying to abuse his position. Rezsera quickly palmed her forehead as she recognized that the officer was one of the men she was entertaining at the inn earlier today and seeing as he wasn't with his mates he either separated from the group or got lost in his drunken state. Either way it looked like weapons were being drawn and Rezsera had to think quickly of blood was going to be shed. And, knowing officers, this wouldn't stop here and things would just get more complicated until the entire city of Yuina would get swept up in it.
Rezsera's only thought on this entire matter as she was heading toward the argument was " OH COME ON!! I JUST GOT HERE! SERIOUSLY!?!?! NOT EVEN 24 HOURS!!! Okay, calm down Rezsera, at this point talking won't do much good so I guess I swift blow to the head should knock him out. Wait....CRUDE! I can't do that either, he's seen my face and with my skin begin as black as the night sky I don't think I'm one that can be easily forgotten. Um.....I got. lemme check if I still ha-YES!" Reaching into one of her pockets she took out a small flask with a fine powder inside it; the powder was a mixture of specific plants and bones of animals that resulted in a powder that caused one to go unconscious if inhaled through the mouth of nose. Since Rezsera wasn't part of the conflict she walked past the man protecting the girl and once she made her way toward the officer she quickly opened the flask and poured the dust into her palm and in one quick motion took a deep breath and bringing the powder up to her face blew the substance in front of the officer and jumped back toward the man and girl and watch the powder do the rest.
"ARGH!!! What is this? What did you do? Wait, wha-"Before the officer could finish his sentence or even grasp the situation he was now in, the man fell to his knees and then off to his side onto the ground as he laid there unconscious. Onlookers and spectators alike were extremely confused as to what just happened and some even panicked that an officer of Yuina had been incapacitated. Rezsera took full advantage of the confusion as she hurriedly walked up to the man and the girl that was being protected and after looking side to side seeing that everyone was talking to one another and not focusing on them and began to speak in a semi-panicked tone of voice "So yeah, we should probably leave while no one is focusing on us. You know, take that alleyway right there?" She looked an pointed to a nearby alleyway before turning her attention back onto the two people in front of her before speaking again in a more assertive, almost irritated tone all the while showing them a smile."As in, NOW!!!"

Current Location:Outside Brothel Shimahara near the center of Yuina. Mood:Curious, and annoyed. Course of Action Taking:To try and hide from the city's soldiers What is expected of her?:To not become someone else's possession.
Seiko watched the happenings from her position on the dirt road, her hand still clutched around her now swollen ankle. She had watched the exchange between the soldier and the strange man who had decided to intervene with his route to take her back to the brothel and possibly get permission to rape her. But that didn't say for what would have happened had her mistress found out about her killing of her client.
Seiko sat there quietly, waiting to see what would happen next. She decided she should try and make a break for it, but that only caused more pains to shoot up her leg. It seemed she would just have to wait and see what would happen. Her eyes narrowed at the pair of men as they fought over rights for her. Didn't she have a choice? She wouldn't just sit by idly and let them decide her fate, as soon as the opportunity arose for her to escape, she knew that she would take it. She was no one's possession, not anymore.
And that is when it happened. Her eyes widened upon the form of a young woman. But that wasn't what had given her pause. It was her beauty and exotic appearance. She had never seen a human like her before. Skin as dark as night, with black hair, and swooping purple robes, that it seemed she had crafted herself by making a part of it into some kind of hood. The color complimented her dark eyes.
She watched as this woman stalked up behind the soldier, before she made her attack, by blowing some powdered substance into his face, which took action immediately as the man began to choke and hack uttering unintelligibly before he collapsed with a near ground rattling thud onto the dirt path. Obviously unconscious, possibly dead.
We need to hurry before anyone else shows up.. She thought frantically as her eyes darted around the crowd.
She noticed the girl with dark skin yelling at the man with the straw colored hair and her mouth thinned into a scowl. They were just going to ignore her? Well then.
She rose to her feet, gritting her teeth as the pain raced up her leg as she did so, but she ignored it. She didn't have time. Her eyes narrowed as she hobbled towards the pair before she yelled, "Well, you heard the lady! Don't just stand there like an idiot. We have to go now!!" She glanced around the rapidly gathering group for men wearing the city's traditional soldier attire.

Raine and Katsu
ℛaines snoring could be heard faintly against the cool winds of the dawn as Katsu glided aimlessly across the lands, his breathing soft as he relaxed his huge rust feathered wings. It had been a much too long night for both of them as he carefully turned his body in the air to quickly scratch his rather large forehead with his front leg, his form hovering slightly before he dove closer to the ground, but not quite below the incoming fir trees.
His cyan eyes studied the foliage below; the glare of the raising sun almost gave off the impression that he was indeed blind. Only a fool would think that, he thought occasionally. More than a few times in his caged life he had tricked humans with this trait of his.
A few flicks of the trees and already he had spotted the owls, although they seemed much larger than usual and he carefully used the warmth of the winds to lift him slightly higher once more, merely studying the creatures. It did not take long to figure out what they were, and it was in his blood what he should do now.
Katsu silently glanced to his sleeping partner, who had attached herself to him with a sturdy rope. And he gently double checked that the bonds were properly fastened before he let out a soft chirp, getting the attention of his prey.
Although he could have just ended things quickly, he had been bound too long by humans to enjoy a good chase, and hopefully this is what he had hoped for.

Raine and Katsu
ℛaine shifted slightly in her sleep as the large Hippogryph flew through the trees, his beak opening slightly to taste the air as he dove after the owls.
Now and then he had found himself almost jumping from tree to tree with his front feet as he raced through the narrow foliage.
A few leaves caught upon his face as he dove up once more, leading the owl demons to scatter. A few of them ducking behind the bushes as they figured the creature was too much for them and they would rather go after slower moving prey themselves. Katsu just thought they were fat and boring as he kept pushing forwards at the ones in front; the ones that were heading to the town.
A few more minutes went by as he started to feel the adrenaline of the chase, although the demons had enough.
His cyan eyes widened in amusement as they had turned in mid-flight and darted head on at him, quite bravely.
Katsu lifted his large wings out of the way and as one zoomed by he plucked the very thing out of the sky, his large beak instantly killing the thing as he smirked in amusement at the other ones that had zoomed by.
A few were still in front as Katsu enjoyed his meal, ripping off the head first before swallowing the rest whole.
He had not eaten this good since that red haired girl had him in that one stable on the edge of town. Bad mistake for her not knowing his diet consisted of horses if he was hungry enough. Great for him though.
Katsu licked his beak hungrily as his huge wings caught the oncoming up drift of the southern winds, he was still quite intent on eating more of those yummy birds.

Lyern stood quietly and watched how in mere seconds the soldier fell to the floor unconscious by the dark-skinned woman's powder even so he did not sheath his sword, it was still tightly gripped in his hand. He noticed rapidly the woman who had intervened between him and the guard was nervous. He heard the woman telling him to leave while no one was paying attention, there were to many witness that were paying attention.
Soon after, the girl he was trying to help sprung up on her feet with a pained expression and hobble near him and the dark-skinned woman, probably by a twisted ankle. When the girl finished exclaiming how they should go he stood quietly for about a few seconds and spoke to them."You powder woman, take the girl with you and prepare to leave this place and you girl I would appreciate if you were less rude"
After that he walked slowly towards the unconscious soldier and put his left foot atop his chest as he said "This is the end to your drinking."and quickly lunged his sword trough the soldiers neck cutting it off.

"Wait. What? Why? No. Wait. Oh sweet Buddha how did this go so horribly wrong? " The little window of opportunity the group had to escape had all but closed the moment the officers head was cut off from the rest of his body. Staring at the man over the officers dead body she was panicing now almost hysterical until she noticed that the area where they were became hauntingly silent as she looked around as everyone was shocked to see what had just happened. Rezsera was holding onto the injured girl but her mind was elsewhere trying to think of a way out of this predicament but nothing came to mind. Rezsera had no idea what to do.
Her body was trembling as the crowd started to panic as well as people were scream for the local authority to quickly come as the crowd closed in on the group of three blocking all possible exits. Rezsera wasn't a fighter and even if she was, she still had to worry about the injured girl in her arms as she slowly started to step back to the center of the crowd were the swordsman and the dead officer were at as her mind continued hopelessly to find a solution to this problem. "I don't.....I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! No exit, lack of numbers on our end, AN INJURED PERSON!!! I should of just minded my own business. Oh Buddah please help us." were the things going through Rezsera's mind as she reached the center with her back toward the swordsman which didn't really help her seeing the fact that he killed an unconscious man without batting an eye instead of running away.
