The storm died out and the day came once more. He'd passed his test for the time being, but that thought wasn't what preoccupied his mind. Fenrir stared at the man seriously for a moment. "I've withstood everything in my life so far." He said and stood up, the crackling of electricity disappearing as he left his meditation. Then the young student growled, "Bring it on."

Mr. Fuu would tone down his power, letting the area return to normal. "Then you task is to return to your home on this island and train your body to defeat a powerful opponent on sheer will alone. Once you can do that, you will be able to withstand the training I am going to give you. I will return in one week from now." Mr. Fuu would smile and then lighting would crash down behind him. The bright flash from the lightning bolt would shine enough to blind Fenrir for the moment. When he would open his eyes again, there would be no sign that Mr. Fuu was ever there.
[Ooc: Leaving for Florida for a week as of Tuesday and my schedule is officially full from now until then. Posting is unlikely. We can continue when I get back, but this will give you ways to post around.]

Fenrir stood up and brushed off the dirt on his collar. This had been an...enlightening experience. The hobo guy was strange but at least he had some power. Perhaps he could train him after all. In the meantime Fenrir had to get some training done either way. He gradually descended from the mountain and followed the hiking trail back to campus.

Fenrir finally made his way to the mountain top, where he walked across the flat plateau of rock that lay before him. The long trip up the mountain wasn't for nothing though. It at least gave him enough time to read the stage 3 book for Inner Storm. Now he knew just what to do in order to pass the stage requirement. First, he had to wait for a storm to come. Luckily the clouds had been looking quite stormy for sometime. The reason for why Fenrir needed the storm though was because he needed its lightning. Specifically, he would have to redirect the lightning. It certainly was an unnerving challenge. Practically impossible by human standards, but even if Fenrir made one false move he could die from electrocution. He thought that it would be an embarrassing end. There was no way he was going to let something like that end him. As he continued to wait for a storm Fenrir sat and meditated on his Ki. He emptied himself back into the void, and it purified his energy. How strange, Fenrir thought. He declined taking the gene-x on so many occasions before being forced to, and adjusting to his powers had been difficult to learn at first. Now, however, he couldn't imagine feeling normal without them. Recharging his energy had become akin to recharging himself, it felt so natural. It was as if he'd become his own power now. Fenrir wondered if that made him less human or more. Suddenly a thunder clap shakes him from his meditation. He glances up at the darkened clouds and sees fades of light dash beyond them. It is time, he believes, and so Fenrir stands and prepares himself for the test at hand. While the lightning cackles ahead he assumes a strong stance and outstretches his open hand to the clouds. His straightened, outstretched fingers reach to touch the heavens. He waited for what seemed like several minutes as lightning danced across the sky, waiting for his chance. And then he was answered. Almost quicker than he can realize a lightning bolt descends from the skies and slams into Fenrir's hand. For a moment he feels the surge of energy rush through his body. In that moment he felt so powerful, but also very dangerous, like a bomb thats about to go off. Quickly Fenrir naturally uses his purified Ki to flush the lightning around his body. It redirected itself across his organs, where Fenrir then pushed it back up through his fingertips. His body had become like a closed circuit in this sense. In any case it worked. Fenrir glared up at the clouds and fired the lightning right back at them. It was a successful technique learned, and it meant that Fenrir had advanced his learning of the Inner Storm. He was now ready to brave on the techniques the stage had to offer. With a short glance back at the thundering clouds, Fenrir returned to his meditation stance, sitting on the flat mountain top. There, he began to read up on the new set of skills he'd be learning.

The Static Cloud skill was easy enough to learn with Fenrir's newfound control over his electrical Ki. He simply dispersed his Ki in a few feet wide cloud of energy outside this body. There wasn't much he could use this for but it could be used as a stepping stool in a fight, or if he just wanted to make his enemies think that he was floating in the air.

Fenrir stopped what he was doing and proceeded to climb back down the mountain. After his meditation he realized what his teacher meant by fighting someone through will power. He wanted Fenrir to win a fight without using his gene-x. It should be a simple task, after all Fenrir had been fighting without the Gene-X abilities up until just recently. He hadn't seen Angel for a while, he thought perhaps he could spar with her.

Fenrir climbed back up to the top of the mountain and searched for Mr Fuu. "I did what you asked." he announced loudly. "I won without any Gene-X tricks."

The herculean geezer was passed out drunk on the ground in the hot sun as Fenrir arrived. He had just finished his forty-second bottle of plum sake. He was tanked beyond belief and didn't want anything to do with being conscious. He would just roll onto his back, breathe in a gulp of air four times the size of a normal human's breath, and let loose a snore loud enough to startle a flock of birds a few miles down the mountain. Rocks on the ground near him bounced up and into the air. The water in a puddle nearby rippled and was shifting around from the vibrations. The man's face was also redder than a ripe strawberry at this time.

Fenrir stared at the drunken master, unamused. "I don't have time to wait for you to wake up." He growled and pointed a finger at Mr Fuu. A sudden bolt of electricity would then shoot itself out of his finger at the man. A single electro-bolt was relatively harmless, but the sensation of electrocution was enough to wake any man. "Get up!"

Fenrir glared at the man as he continued to snore and then just took his leveling card from Mr. Fuu while he slept. He'd earned his level up anyways, and would rather not waste anymore precious training time waiting for a drunk homeless man to give him praise. Afterwards Fenrir went to the other side of the mountain top to continue his Inner Storm training.
((You seem a bit too busy to keep up with this and I have an arc I have to get to, so I'm moving this along.))

Fenrir continued his training with the Lightning Rider technique. Just reading it the skill almost sounded like a joke to him. After all, how was he supposed to ride lightning? Then again, he did just learn how to redirect lightning. It took him some more reading to figure out that he wasn't exactly riding on lightning per se, but rather his own electrical Ki that bore a resemblance to lightning. Either way this was going to be a difficult skill to learn so Fenrir started practicing. First he had to concentrate a substantial amount of focus and Ki to his feet. In mere moments his toes were bustling with electrical energy. Then a loud buzzing hummed in the air as his aura enveloped his feet and shoes.
