RRRRROAR!
GET AWAY FROM MY TAIL!
Sheridan spun around in sudden rage, glaring at the crab claw closed around his long tail. OH NO YOU DON'T!
Taloned hands turned on the claw in an instant, tearing at shell, smashing into the joints that held the appendage to the creature. Had he been allowed to shift into natural form he would have bitten the monster with the full force of his jaws.
"LET GO!"
A well placed kick, a crunch under the strike, Sheridan pulled his tail free, a rather menacing fire in his eyes as he glared at the monster.

Angenora saw all the damage her fearmates were getting from that jack ol' crab. She let out a scream as she jumped and kicked at one of it's legs. Even though the hit was dead on she had been hit with recoil damage. She staggered lightly after landing back to her feet. "That should teach you to leave my boil friends alone!" She yelled at it.

Sheridan snorted, glaring at the fallen crab, tail twitching as if he expected it to get up and come after them and their castle again. It was several minutes before he was satisfied in the fact that it was indeed down, was not getting up again, and that no further monsters were going to come after their castle.
With a snap of his tail, he turned, surveying the damage. The castle had not escaped unscathed, most notably one wall had been cracked, causing the top section toward the ground. Irritating, but he supposed it could have been worse. Were they allowed to repair the damage?
Of course, even if they were allowed to repair, did they have--
THE TIDE COMES IN AND...
OH JACK!
There was the answer to the question of repairs! Though it was most certainly not the answer he had hoped for!
Sheridan watched in horror as the cracked wall was the first to go, collapsing to the ground to be promptly washed away by the incoming tide. The walls were crumbling fast, another few moments and there would be nothing left! He was really starting to not like water...

Great, it was exactly what they did not need. He hadn't even had time to contemplate what to do after the monster crab had attacked their castle, now this. Not only was their castle now being washed away by the water, he was also not completely drenched. Was this a trial or one of Professor Savage's classes?
No time to waste contemplating the matter. A brief look around, and Sheridan was quickly following the lead of other teams, racing to the castle during the break in the water in an attempt to repair the castle.
Alright, start from the foundation up. Working as fast as he dared, the dragon started pushing sand toward the base of the castle, hoping to reinforce the base before moving to the crumbling walls.

Come on Sheridan, move faster, that tide will come back in at any moment! Later he might have the thought that rebuilding a crumbling sand castle might have been less effective than just starting over on higher ground, but he was mercifully spared that thought for now, instead focusing on the task before him. (would they have even been allowed to start over?)
Alright, he was making progress. The foundation of the castle at least looked better than it had, not that he didn't expect the whole thing to topple over the moment the next wave of water came through. But still, it was a start, right?
Hmmm...maybe some more sand over on this side would help. Uh-oh, better fix that crack in the wall there before it takes the whole thing down!

He might have been spending more time fixing that crack then he should have, or maybe he was just getting tired. Either way, it seemed he was suddenly making less progress than he had been before. Still, he was making progress, he wasn't giving up, not yet.

Petro was quick to follow Sheridan's example, despite having signed up as the team leader, the tikbalang was only going by the celestial dragon's lead. The tide had hit their castle but it had also washed off the grit and sand that clung to the horse boil's skin. The salt water, while jacking painful upon contact with his wound, washed out the debris and cleaned the area well enough.
The horse boil was feeling much better after it! "'S good structure y' all made. We won't have too much trouble fixing it up!" he declared brightly. Building things with Sheridan reminded him of Maths class and traps. Hmmm, maybe they ought to consider adding some sort of trap after they were done fixing up

Large hands were busy patting the sand back into cracks, cupping water and dripping it carefully on the castle to give the sand its strength, Petro was slowly letting the adrenaline drain away. He was doing rather well and a big, pleased grin spread across the tanned boil's face.

"Hey c'mon, y' two, we need more hands here," Petro barked over to Sepheran and Angenora. While he sounded commanding, there was a friendly smile on his face. Seems like Petro's competitive side was starting to show and he wanted his team to give it their all!

Sepheran groaned lightly after the attack with the crabs. He fell to his rump and just sat on the hot sand a moment trying to regain some energy from the last attack. Before he knew it however he was being called back over. Taking a deep breath he pushed himself back up wondering what was going on. When he did finally figure it out he quickly jumped to his feet and raved to the castle with renewed energy. "I'm coming!!" he cried back as he to started to try and rebuild the poor castle he had already built the first time that was now threatened to be destroyed.

Angenora began to scramble as she tried to pick up whatever she could to help repair the castle. She found a little bit of the castle to put back since the tide was tearing it apart.

THE KRAKEN'S HP: 153  ((OOC: BONUS MECHANICS: Real Fake Bird. The real fake bird really looks up, not fearing death-ah. -50% damage done from the kraken PER ATTACK THE STUDENTS DO. Sepheran smiled turning to his teammates ready to congratulate them for keeping the sandcastle up from the threat of the tide...however an errie silence fell across the sands and Sepheran felt a cold gust brush against his scales making him shiver. This was not a good sign. It was only when he looked up and Liannan hissed one single word that he felt true horror. Jack save them all...it was a KRACKEN

Sepheran knew he had to act quickly, the threat of the kracken's tentacles looming over their fragile sandcastle was not something he liked on his mind. "Oh no you don't!!!" the basilisk boil hissed as he threw whatever he found lying around at the tentacle in hopes to lure the beast away from their castle.
