Itami Jes: That will be odd if they have more blood for sure. Just doesn't seem to mix if it will be a parody/comedy style series, yet end up with more blood than average Sentais have now. It certainly makes me more curious about the series anyway. Also lol "We're both more mature .... so that naked person, how hot are they?" There is the possibility that I misread, but I doubt it. I can see your point though about it not seemingly not mixing. Comedy and blood often don't mix (Unless your a genius at Dark comedy). And Akibaranger certainly doesn't strike me as that. It is yet another thing we'll have to see play out; as is often the case leaked material and the actual show are two different things. Again, same here. It has certainly caught our interest. Let us hope it wont let us down. lol I said mature, I didn't say anything about me stopping being a guy. wink Nadira I've been watching the second season of GARO, and it is spectacular. I wish that there were more adult oriented Tokusatsu shows out there like this one. I love dark shows, that have so much depth to them. The graphics are pretty cool, and the stories are well written. The artwork has a lot of thought put into them, and and the characters are consistent. I bet Akibaranger will be the slap stick silly kind of show. I originally thought it was going to be a bad a** April Fools joke on us fans, but maybe, just maybe, it will honestly come out... As do I. Toei needs to continue to realize, that like America being a sizable audience (That gives a damn) and there are also older fans of Tokusatsu that want a series like GARO was. ((Though admittedly I've only watched a few episodes. sweatdrop )) It airs after April Fools last time I checked. Besides, I honestly doubt that the cast would be blogging about it or the crew/TOEI seemingly putting so much effort into it. To spin off from GARO, how do you guys think Akibaranger will fare? WIll it be highly successful or flat out fail.

(BTW: GARO is in its second season. And it is currently going on. Think: 2011-2012. Weeeeeee!). Anyways, I hope that Akibaranger gets the big kids and adults involved. If it gets a cult standing, that would be cool too!

Apparently they are aiming to have this for more adult viewers. Which is still odd to me. I can understand that parody and humor can be aimed for older audiences (just look at Adult Swim), but I'd assume that if they wanted to catch older fans of Tokusatsu they'd aim more for serious/dark like Garo has. Guess we will just have to see how it turns out once it starts airing next month.

I mean even one of the rangers was chosen because her... well breasts. xp Good point though. I think it wont affect the overall series. It'll still be a light hearted parody, but will still have more adult themes. Supposedly there's supposed to be a bit more blood, like I mentioned before.

New Information!
Apparently protecting the Akiba City is just cover or something. Their actual goal is to become a TV Show and be recognized... recognized as an actual Sentai.
Okay. Even I was surprised when I read that. xd

Saw the first episode the other day! Gotta say it was pretty good. Has a sort of charm that I can't quite but my finger on. But on the other hand it has something that I really don't like. I loved it and series direction, but something just seemed off to me.

I thought that they could have had at least 5 more episodes, before wrapping it up.
