DavyJnah This one or the next might be my last post.
"Alright. Go on ahead, show me who you think is the best target. I think mom knows I'm here with you so it should be fine" Rei asked, encouragingly, scanning the skies and plains for potential threats to his little girl. "Go on, oh mighty huntress, show me your skills."

She looked to find a good tree and ended up clawing her way up to the top. Here she had a decent vantage point of a few herds about. Maybe something big but also something not hard for her father to take down alone since she knew that she wouldn't be able to help him physically. If she even attempted she was sure that she could get them both injured and well she didn't want to be a hindrance for him. What she could see were gazelle, topi, and some zebra about. They were good pickings at least she thought so.
"Papa! There are some zebra to the north east, topi kind of close by them and gazelel to the north. I don't know which one you might want to go after more." The cub yelled down to her father from the tree limb.

Rei might've had a minor hear attack if his expression as his daring daughter climbed all the way to the top of the tree was to believed. A strangled sound left his mouth and he had to take a deep breath in order not to shout a panicked word of warning. Relax, his mate would say. It wasn't easy.
"Careful, sweetie. Don't climb too high, some of those branches don't look strong enough." There. He couldn't help but to say something though he silently congratulated himself for at least keeping his voice steady and unconcerned. "Alright. Come down, slowly. I'll carry you there, just hop on my back. Let's see if your old dad can catch a gazelle."

The golden female climbed part way down the tree before she launched herself at her father, knocking into him and then climbing onto his back. "Onwards!" she roared out triumphantly knowing that they were going to go towards the certain perfect kill. She would even somewhat help carry it back in her tiny mouth. Oh how exciting to be able to tell her mother that they had gotten a good kill and then on top of that bringing it back! What a wonderfully fantastic day it had been and what a great way to end her exploring with her father. "I love you papa."

DavyJnah Ok, so now it's really the last post! xD
"Love you, too, little bug." Rei said quietly, eyes narrowing with visible contentment as he moved towards the herd with a passenger in tow.
