She had pulled back in her spinning just before Tsui reached her, and was planning on bringing the paperclips down on her again, but instead found the senshi at her feet, running into her like a bowling ball. Mesolite let out a squeal and fell backwards, kicking her feet as she did so, hoping to at least knock the senshi around a bit.
What a cheap shot! What a lousy, despicable, underhanded method of fighting.
Mesolite couldn’t stop another laugh that escaped her. What fun was that. Someone who fought dirty. She was pretty and ruthless. What a wonderful combo.
“You know.” She called, struggling to her feet, letting her lungs fill with air again, after having it all knocked out of her with the fall. “You should have been on our side, Monochrome. I think we could have used someone like you. Besides, I would have treated you right if you were on my team you know. I do know how to treat pretty girls right.” Her voice wasn’t mocking, this time at least.
Mesolite was finally standing and brushed herself off. “Nice tumble there, by the way.”

One of Mesolite's kicks had missed horribly, but before Tsui could boast this feet or celebrate, she was reminded that most people had TWO feet, as the second one had landed straight in her stomach. As Mesolite's laughter filled the night air, Tsui had tried to recover from the blow as well, but the lieutenant's heel and the strength behind it was not to be ignored. 'Great, not only do I have a cold, but now I think my lunch is coming back to haunt me...'She gave a cough and had managed to stand upright again, holding one arm over her stomach and the other fist was curled, ready for a strike. Yet, Mesolite's words took her by surprise. She was complimenting her? When moments ago she was insulting her? And was she merely hearing things, or was the lieutenant... flirting... with her? Tsui was never good at wearing a poker face, but this time, she didn't even try. She allowed for her confusion to be seen, as she arced an eyebrow. "Um, I don't think we can be on the same time, Rainbows. I didn't think they allowed Senshi to be in the Negaverse, or vice versa..."

Mesolite shrugged. “I don’t know either, but if it were possible, I wish that had been the path you had taken.” She grinned and shrugged, clipping her paperclips back around her wrist and cracking her knuckles loudly. “I mean, I’ve met a senshi who was our ally, but, I don’t know if he was working with us per say. He said he was a Dark Mirror Senshi? Whatever that really even means. You would have been pretty as one of them, I bet.”
The lieutenant gave a dainty little wave. “Anyway. Go home now, monochrome. Get rid of that cold. I know we’ll meet again, and I’m quite sure our next meeting will be quite as fun. Run alone now, little stripeless tiger.” She was looking at Tsui in a new way now. It seemed that the senshi had earned at least some respect from Mesolite, and that was something. If all of the senshi were as clever and gutsy as Tsui was, well, then it was no wonder the negaverse had had to pull Mesolite into their ranks.
They must need all the help they can get.
The lieutenant began to walk away now, thinking this was a good way to leave off. A standoff of sorts. A tentative truce. Plus, the senshi looked confused as all get out. So, that was kind of cute. Yeah. Kind of cute indeed.

Perhaps it was a little too early for Tsui to be making assumptions, but she had a good idea who this supposed Dark Mirror Senshi was, though she didn't pressure Mesolite for a guess. In the end, it didn't matter who she talked to; the important part of that statement was that the Dark Mirror Court claimed to be the Negaverse's allies. That might have worried Tsui in the long run, but for now, she was trying to hold back another sneeze, and now, in courtesy of the lieutenant's well aimed kick, her lunch. So, while normally she would have wanted to get another strike in, Tsui wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth when Mesolite seemed content to show her some mercy. "Yeah, Rainbows. We'll definitely meet again in the future... and maybe by then I'll have some stripes, too," Tsui said, trying not to sound TOO eager to leave. She wasn't retreating or even running away, but merely backing down while she still had the chance, and with the fear of any civilians being injured by the lieutenant was cleared from her mind as she had taken the time to notice their absence. Perhaps their bickering and hissing had chased them away? Either way, it was one less thing on Tsui's mind. "And who knows, maybe by then you'll actually have a real weapon... then the real fun can begin!" Tsui certainly had an altered perspective on this Negaverse lieutenant, at least she had a clear head on her shoulders and some strength behind those skinny legs of hers to make up for the rather poor choice of weapons. So, without another word and before Mesolite could try to deepen her confusion, Tsui had taken the opportunity to flash her a casual wave and made her exit. Unfortunately, it was not as grand or as epic as her entrance, she had to admit, but she took whatever she could get. She called back to the lieutenant with the multicolored paperclips before leaping into the nearby bushes and disappearing from her sights. "Until then, consider it a date!"
