Bix winced as her grip tightened over time like a vice. To some it would be endearing perhaps but it was almost like some sort of challenge from a Saw movie. Could you appease the crazy girl before she squeezed the insides out of you? DAMN YOU JIGSAW! Bix guided them towards the comic store. Thankfully this mall seemed to be a go-to for the hunters (perhaps it was far enough away from where any of them were from, or perhaps the powers that be had some sort of arrangement) and so he knew exactly where the store was. It was pretty spacious and clean but hung with the lingering scent of the many nerds who had come before. The scent-memory of clans of Magic players and Warhammer geeks hung lightly in the air, mixed with the familiar air conditioning smell that came along with malls and the much more deliberate smell of flowery Febreeze sprayed by the employees for their own comfort. These mall stores always lacked the musty-garage feeling that Bix had been used to from his stores back home, but anywhere comics were kept was like a second home to him. On a positive note, the mall store also pandered to more than just the hardcore geek or gamer. There was a huge section for anime and toys, as well as a wall of t-shirts. A particularly bright display was packed wall to wall with My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic toys and accessories. Bix had missed the MLP craze because of Deus but they seemed like something Julie might like. "I'll buy you something." He looked at her slyly. "But you have to call me Bix." He was getting ballsy all of a sudden. Then, to play along. "It'll be my super secret code name."

If possible, Julie's eyes sparkled even brighter, the second they passed by the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic display, one could practically see the light shining off the facets of her eyes in ten different ways. Her grip on Bix might have relaxed, just slightly, as the tiny five-foot two hunter looked right up at the trainee-
- And pretty much looked liked she belonged as one of the little doe-eyed figurines on the My Little Pony display. "Oooh that sounds like fun!" She clapped her hands lightly, this would be like their personal game or something.
Julie tried her best to sound serious. "So, sir Bix, what are the artifacts of importance on this missions?"
She may or may not also have been imitating a certain someone else to get the point across that she was totally willing to play along.

"Well first.." Bix looked around the store. "You need a mount." He nodded his head to the MLP rack. "Only one and it has to be amazing." If he was going to be Sir Bix then making this some crazy game might work out for him. "And I need to acquire the Almighty Books of Marvel." He started to gravitate towards the comics. "We already have weapons because we are badasses." Hunters. Duh. "So help me out.. Mount, weapons, magical tomes.." He tapped his fingers as he counted. "What are we missing?" he gave Julie a smirk. "Magical refreshments." He said it before she could reply.

Julie was just busy watching Sir Bix with the largest, sparkliest eyes. She may or may not have swooned, though there was definitely admiration in every inch and micro-inch of her features.
She turned over to the rack of ponies, making an intense look of concentration as the tried to pick out the perfect one, but oh! this was so hard, and then, in a moment of insecurity, turned around to look at Bix again. He was still there, by the comics section. She then turned around to decide on a mount again, and then in a fit of indecision, turned back to look at Bix. He was still there.
Thankfully after another five times of repeating this process, she walked away happily with a Rainbow Dash pony, looking extremely pleased with herself as she reattached herself to his arm.
At this rate, Bix was never going to understand the meaning of freedom ever again.

Bix glanced up only once while Julie was picking out a pony. He had himself a small stack of comics when Julie came back over and latched onto his arm. They were mostly collections so he could catch up on what he missed but because of the hard covers and leather binding it did look like he was buying a pile of tomes. "Ah.. yeah the rainbow one. I knew it." He smirked, ignoring a t-shirt right beside his head that said 'I'm a Brony, Deal with it' and featured a pony in sunglasses. "Ok so we have a mount." He walked to the counter and put down the pony. "Tomes." He put down the comics. The attendant, apparently used to weirdos, just nodded his head. He was pimply and squat and seemed to be oogling Julie. "I like your hair clips.." he slimily complimented her. He even grossly licked his lips and pushed his glasses up his nose. Bix just bit his lip and gave Julie a look. The geeky sales guy was pretty ballsy to compliment a girl who was clinging on another guy. Go slimy sales guy! But he kept his thoughts to himself.

The Moon Hunter seemed pleased too. "Oh thank, you, I like Sir Bix's hair clips too!"
He wasn't wearing any.
She eagerly watched the merchant back away the ultimate important mission items of ultimate importance, still practically radiating waves of sparkles and magic, and every single rainbow goodness on the universe. If the My Little Pony shelf could come to life, they would probably simply rehome themselves in her hair.
After everything was carefully put away, she practically snatched the bag from Bix and pulled out her present, clutching it to her chest. "Oh, To- I mean Sir Bix, this has been the best secret mission ever." A sudden thoughtful pause as she stopped halfway down the stairs. She turned around to face the Sun trainee, eyes half-lidded romantically. "But do you know what would make this mission even better?"

Bix stuck khis hand out for the bag just to have it snatched before it could reach his palm. Once the pony was safely clutched to Julie's chest, he was able to get a hold of his sacred tomes and held the bag tightly in his hand. Julie wasn't as keen to cling to him now that she had her pony and he grinned a bit, as she expressed how great their secret mission was. "Well I'm glad you had fun. Secret fun." Bix began to walk, hoping she'd stick with him. Whatever he plans were, he was still kind of hungry and it wasn't everyday he was allowed (or had time) to leave the island. But then she stopped. She turned to him. Her eyes drooped and she was making one of those faces. Bix turned a little pink and froze. He had a feeling he knew exactly what she was going to say. "I know you'd like to tell me.. more than I'd like to guess." He was trying to play dumb.

The Moon Hunter leaned in closer, closer, just a little bit closer, just like last Christmas-
- "HEY QUIT BLOCKING THE STAIRS SERIOUSLY."
- And the moment was pretty much ruined forever, as Julie turned around wide-eyed at the dissenters below, several who were just waiting on them to get out of the way, others passing by tsk-tsking about how there was just too many displays of public affection these days.
She didn't seem too phased, simply re-adjusting the owl hairclip in her hair before pulling Bixy forward, other free hand clinging to the Rainbow Dash. Maybe she wanted to say something more, maybe it would have gone entirely a different path, but it seemed Julie had forgot entirely as she pulled the trainee forward, and the entire way towards the portal, bombarded him with strange requests involving headless plush cats, floating unicorns, and his favourite type of care bear.
At least the mission was still very much of a success.
